Tam chuckles softly. "I know... but to me the term pyro is a name for someone who goes about setting fires to everything.... an individual who is sickly addicted to the flames... I find it hard to use if for someone as gentle and kind as you."

Tam shrugs. "I meant no insult... I am sorry iffin you feel I was being disrespectful."

Tam rolls his eyes and slaps his forehead. "Ack.... forgive me, my friend... I surely did not mean to imply that.... It's bad enough that I confuse people... no need misleading everyone else, as well."

Salunia peeks into the kitchen. "Auntie Ai.... Mama wans some tea."

Tam nods back to her and begins to brew another batch of tea. "I'm going to have to go shopping after all, We've been drinking so much of this lately, I'm running a little low."

Tam quickly puts the potatoes on to cook while he waits for the water to heat for tea. Then pulls down the rolls from their resting spot and checks them. "Well, I'm putting these in soon... how's the roast coming?" he asks as he fixes up another tray to carry in Fortuny's tea.

Later, as Tam puts everything on the table and calls the cottage to eat, he carries a small tray up to Kero.

"Here ye go, Taro... a dinner fit for a king... or at least a jittery stomach... Nothing rich, just good tasting, solid food... made by, cooked by... and served by love...."

Tam places the tray near by, kisses him on the head and goes back to his own dinner, dropping into his seat next to Bez with a sigh.

"Looks like we're sharing his bed tonight, dulcha. He's really out of it." He looks at Hopian and Fortuny. "Are you all going to be ok by the fire still? I'm wondering iffin we should make you up a more permanent solution. We could cobble together a large short sided box and fill it wth some sort of washable padding. That way if they wander away, they don't go near the hearth. They can't see where they are going yet and the warmth might draw them. Then the five of ye can sleep in comfort and if they have an accident, nothing good will get ruined. No offense, m'Lady... but cubs don't have reliable barometers to their physical needs. One second they're perfectly content, the next they need to go so bad they can't control it. I know that for a fact."

Tam chuckles. "Kero wasn't broken when I got him... that's how." He winks at Hopian. "He was older than yer cubs, but not by much, still had his milk teeth, I'm afraid. So when Hope says I hand raised him... he's not stretching the truth. I did."

Tam nods. "That's about right... but he seemed younger... at least he acted younger for several months. I was taking care of him prior to that as well... and he was a bit more mature then... so maybe that was why he felt so young. He was bouncing back and forth due to something Rhea did... day times he was a cub.... about 4 I think.... at night he was himself, locked into the cub's body... but when he revued he actually shrank to about one third the size and forgot so much he knew.... except how to bug me, of course... he never forgot about how to do that."
