tam chuckles and begins rattling off more curse words for him, some he has missed... then stands and looks at the sheet again... good... now yer to translate or define all these words, he says finally... completely... no fudging... no hemming or hawing... i want to know exactly what they mean.... and he hands the sheet back with a smirk

tam slaps at what he thinks is a bug and makes contact with the tail, glares at kero and examines the sheet... he corrects a few entries and yawning does the same, but not before telling kero he will be grounded iffin he stings him again....

grounded... yawns tam as he collapses to the floor snoring loudly... he looks mightily uncomfortable.......

tam groans... oh yea.. grounded for sure... what i tis you do not leave this inn... until i say you can... and you must ask permission to leave the room...

he tries to sit up and groans in dismay... ah man... did ye have to do that... now i'm so darn stiff... he stretches out and sighs... i'm going for a long soak... enjoy yer peace and quiet... i won't bug ye in the least... in fact i just might go for a hike today... see ye later kero... oh... yer allowed down to the main room and the jakes, but if i hear ye've been out of the innfor any reason other than to relieve yerself, yer doomed... i'm not going to be happy.... do ye understand that... i'm serious kero... attacking me is not a wise thing to do... i don't care how angry you are... do not attack me again or i will turn ye over my knee... glands be damned.... never ever ever attack me again, iffin ye want to travel in my company....

tam returns to the falls and finds himself a perch, he pulls out the small wooden harp from that faithful night turns it over in his hads a few time then wipes his cheeks, before touching what would have been strings on a normal instruments... the air is filled with the sounds of liquid music, sad and yet hopeful, drifting on the breeze... he seems to be thinking hard while he plays, as though he's been faced with a dilemma and needs to tear it down to it's smallest particle to understand it.. he plays for hours, then stands up and looks out across the water...

angry, he reaches down and hauls the cub forth, then he gets a good look at kero's mud streaked face, sighs and pulls him close... did i give you permission to follow me he asks gently kissing him on the forehead...

tam frowns... because he was anything but angry, more concerned and worried... and seeing kero cry hurts him deeply because he thinks he's the cause of kero's sadness... why are ye always so angry with me... did i shout at you? did i berate you? all i did was ask you a question... kero, what's wrong... why are you always so mad at me... what have i done?
