tam smiles at the cub... not really kero... look at her tummy... iffin she eats anymore she's going to just get sick... let's see iffin i can get her to come to me.... he kneels down slowly and begins to hum a calming tune while offering a gentle hand in her direction....

baka, huh... yea right... i was only holding out my hand not chasing her... says tam hurt... he begins to hum again, a little louder... it should work, he's used it to calm frightened horses.... and settles in for a long wait...

*Slowly, ever so slowly, the cat comes towards him, finally sniffing his hand and nuzzling against it...Kero sits down with a humph*

tam gives her a good ear rub while looking for injuries and small vermin... he changes his tune to the one he used to rid kero of his own fleas and makes sure it extends over all three of them, no need to rid her of them just to have them take up residence of one of the other two....
she's pretty beat up... and she's awfully young too... says tam softly examining her ear... a small thread of healing takes away the irritation but it cannot restore it to it's former shape...

*Kero pulls out his pipe...and trills a haunting tune...healing some other parts of the cat...leaves him exhausted...but she seems somewhat healthier*

tam smiles... shall we take her back to the inn... i bet she's a good mouser... and if they won't let her stay... maybe that old man down at the pawn shop might know someone who'd want to give her a home... or we coud take her with... she's kinds of small... shouldn't be too much trouble.. what do ye say patch... ye want to come with us?

*The cat doesn't nod...but she does follow them...and the innkeeper is delighted to give her a home...as his kids are entranced by the kitty...Kero soon goes up to their room, curling up and going to sleep*

tam decides to eat in their room that night... as kero is really tired from the healing he had done for the kitty... and since another minstrel has stopped at the inn on his way through the area, tam doesn't feel the need to perform... the cook send up a rather large tureen of stew and fresh bread, which sends kero's nose twitching as soon as tam carries it to the table...

tam sighs... ok... punishing hasn't worked... so now i'm going to try something new... i want ye to write down 100 ways to say what ye just did without using those two words... got that... and try not to swear while yer doing it...ok... i want to get some practise time in....

Jeez...like an old bat, he is...wonder what I'd have to do...
*Gets an idea for his writing...while he doesn't write the two curses the got him in trouble....he does write down just about every other curse word he knows that expresses pain or frustration...Tam just said not to use F*** or Vashintra...*
