Claire hadn't heard about Daryn's death, "I'm sorry, you have my sympathy." The pale blonde said, it was something she learned after going to such few funeral services she'd been to.

"It's alright." Rayne frowned at the thought of it but he didn't press on it for too long. He couldn't only hope that Kayden stuck to his side of the bargain.

"Not much. We were going to invade Ganon's liar and save Jayden but then you waved the stupid diamond in my face!" Rayne's voice was sour. That incident didn't roll over well with his headache. Otherwise, he believed he could of outrun her.

"What did I do?" Rayne growled back. He put his hands on his head protectively. Another hit and it felt like it would split open and his hands were the only things that were keeping his head together in his demented little world of headaches.

Claire put her forefinger and thumb on the bridge of her nose, though it didn't help. "You never change, do you?" she muttered.

"I've changed!" Rayne snapped. "I just don't learn." He added quietly afterward.

Claire rolled her eyes, but ignored the comment. She kept walking, letting the awkward silence take its place.

The headache seemed to throb in the silence. He groaned and rubbed his throat. It was dry now and he found himself carving water again.

Claire glanced at Rayne and sighed, "Listen, I'm sorry. Alright? Forgive me?" She asked, holding a hand out-hiding the one with the ring behind her back.

Rayne didn't quite get why she would apologize, and the confusion showed on his face. He decided not to speak, his throat felt to dry for that.

Claire dropped her hand and her side, but found a flat rock and sat down. She sighed, she was getting a headache of her own.

"I'm sorry, my throat is killing me." Rayne whispered, his voice hoarse. "And I forgive you." He added, still a little on the unsure sigh, but he could work things out himself.

Claire raised an eyebrow, "I have some water if you want some," she took out a bottle from her bag and held it out to Rayne. "I know it's not a lot, but it's all I have so it'll have to do."
