Made sure she was well prepared when she wasn't. No going back now. Nozomi was never the one to back down. Not in Kirigakure, sure as hell not in Arashigakure too. The redhaired female made her way towards the gates and had to pause for a moment. It was then, she realized something. She had been in Arashigakure for a long time but she never got the time to get out and meet people. She mostly spent hiding. It was time for her to get out and be a shinobi once again. Her honey jeweled eyes started to scan throughout the crowd. A beautiful blonde woman, a handsome black-haired male by her, blue haired female... are those fangs? And a guy tapping with a stick. Wait?!
A guy tapping with a stick. Nozomi blinked, slightly confused. Though, she had heard of shinobi who are blind stil lcan find as regular shinobi. Something about using Fuuton and Doton. Nozomi remembered some of the Doton's techniques she once used to have. Maybe he uses those to help himself get around? "Um..." Nozomi started and then she stopped. She didn't want to accidentally offend this man by offering him help. He just said he was reporting in to help. So he was to fight. Her eyebrows furrowed as she glanced at the man and then the others. Not showing what she was thinking, but honestly after all she's been through at Kirigakure, this doesn't really surprise her.

"MY MY MY...." it was almost like that of a villian's voice looming over the sea of clouds in the distance. "You're all still here then? If not for those lovely army generals these lands would have long been razed by now. Well...mhm hm hm. They somewhat already are." Again a man seemed to appear from nowhere his cloak of camouflaged concealment fading. Legs crossed one over the other he floated over the outskirts border of the flying village. Securing himself from any physical attacks less the attacker had the means to fly. For if they didn't they'd plummet down to the main battlefield. Unki perhaps would recognize the voice if not the man himself. Oh and NOHEA. Nohea would know him well undoubtedly.
A flick of his fan in hand and a large scroll now attached to his backside what wasn't there before. He'd embrace himself expressing some rather uncomfortable levels of jubilation. Increasing the difficulty of discerning what exactly the man was. He smelled like a villainous loon, however, "Ahhh there is no purer place to see humanity shine than in the midst of battle. Drama! Romance! Bloodshed!" he'd then cease embracing himself as if having just huffed too much opium and revert his gaze to likely a confused bunch. "It seems that these lands are in a spot of trouble and it is to my questioning wonderment if you'd allow this seeker of desire to be of use to your humble cause." He offered help. They say the more the merrier, but was this really a man who'd bring merriment. Could he be trusted, red flags abound, but nothing truly incriminating.
Well there was one person who knew the man. Not entirely but knew his nature. He did whatever he wanted to feed his curiosity. Senran knew very well that one among them knew this, which is why as he placed his fan up to partially conceal his face he'd lock eyes with the shark girl as taunting her. If she attacked him again for having done nothing thus far who would be the bad guy. Certainly not him, and if she plummeted to the main battlefield below the clouds because she was incapable of controlling her temper it would again be her own fault. The floating man was really striking a chord with her and she was really starting to worry. He was painting an image in her head of suffering across the lands. Villagers suffering, the armies suffering, and weight of guilt from being accused of abandoning her post and responsibilities pushing her down. Unki could not show her worry no matter what about whatever dangerous were going on down there. Second, her concern for Shiro's absence was beginning to make her anxious. If anything was going to resolve (or distract) her anxieties it was going to be taking charge and moving out. The delight Senran felt as he illuminates the suffering as a whole made her feel something bad already. As if she were already failing. "Alright. Forget the Emperor." She took a deep breath. This is all probably apart of his plan anyway. Watch em' swoop in after I take the reigns. She clapped once and between the flutter of a sleeve with a wave of her arm Unki pulled out a fan. "We are moving out. Maric," she said, looking at him and pointing out at another with her fan. "I want you with her. Unki pointed at the young lady with red locks. "Below us, the Emperor has set up units to defend various villages in the Land of Floods. If the enemy breaches the Floods they can breach the rest of the Empire if they wanted. The Hidden Storm is doing its part and we are with them through this step. I will dispatch you to a location to assist the imperial forces and protect the villages in whatever way you must. As pairs, you can keep each other safe and find the other's strengths to work with. After I place you together we will descend. Please don't hesitate to disclose whatever detail of your skillset that you feel is necessary to provide your partner with. Behold, serious Unki. From there she went on calling out who was to go with whom and drawing invisible connecting lines to each pair with her fan. She didn't know anyone's name but she managed.

The blonde haired female took control and even mentioned to forget the Emperor as she sheepishly scratched her cheek. First, she spoke to the man with the black hair and pointed at her with the fan as Nozomi nodded, to show that she understood. They were to go provide protection for the citizens. The woman warned for them to be careful who they are engaging with because the one that they may talk to, could be the one to side with the enemy. It was this moment that Nozomi had wished she went out more and meet people more. That way, she would be able to tell apart from friend and foe. Nozomi would have to simply depend on Marc and the other person whose name she had not yet gotten, to help her with that difference. With a smile behind the mask, "I'll meet you guys there, come on!", the Uzumaki started to head towards the main roads before getting to the village that they needed to go to. She can tell them who she was at the main roads real quick...
Hiruko would listen to the female voice start yelling orders and directions as he looked around to catch as many noises as he could and figure out what directions everyone was going in. He figured he would be paired up with someone, but didn’t know who so just followed the sounds of footsteps onto the platform to at least get himself moving in some kind of right direction. Exit
Physical Description:
Kind of short, at 5’6”, and on the skinny side.He has short black hair that just starts to cover his forehead with a black cloth tied around his head covering his eyes.He wears a simple pair of shinobi pants and shoes with a black t-shirt and a white lab coat that hangs to his mid thigh with sleeves that just barely hide his hands. Usually has a long wooden staff in his hand, using it to tap around for obstacles, feigning worse blindness than he really has and hiding his clan’s abilities along with his true family name.
As Takashi stood at the gates of the village, he looked out into the expanse that lay before him. Granted, he'd journeyed outside the village over the years to gather materials for various projects, this time was different, as he didn't know exactly when he would be returning. His leaving of the village was under the guise of a mining expedition and while this was partially true, it wasn't his main reason for his departure. In truth, he was setting out in search Belamos, fulfilling a promise he had made years ago. During Belamos's stay in Arashi, he had become something of a mentor to Takashi and Takashi owed much of his weapon knowledge to him. When Belamos took his leave of the village, he had offered to take Takashi with him but at the time, Takashi had turned him down. After all, he was still in the midst of his apprenticeship under his father (not to mention he was only twelve at the time). However, now things were different. After all his years of hard work, his skills had grown drastically and he was now a full-fledged blacksmith. Finally, he was ready to seek out Belamos to continue his training.
Turning back to the village, Takashi couldn't help but feel a bit guilty leaving under such a pretense but it was necessary. Despite the peace that they had experienced over the past five years, there were many people in the village that were still wary of the world beyond the village walls, including his own parents. It was hard enough getting their blessing to go on a simple mining expedition in the Land of Floods. There's no way they would have agreed to let him journey to the distant land where Belamos now resided. As such, he felt it was a necessary lie and could only hope that his parents would forgive his deceit upon his return. Whenever that was.
With a sigh, Takashi gave the village one last loving glance before setting out. When he returned, he hoped to be far stronger and a far better craftsman.
SHIONxxxxxMORI Through some weird, probably bullshit storytelling ANBU magic, by the time the CORE-hopeful arrived at the gates, he'd be face to face with Shion, now flanked by two other figures clad in the same gear as her. Once the boy was within earshot, she'd begin the mission explanation. "Okay, team, listen up. Our objective is simple. There's been a small insurrectionist group starting up in the country outskirts. It's nothing we have not dealt with, so we'll take the usual approach." One of the other agents, a much taller man hidden behind a mask with a reptilian design, spoke up. "I don't know, captain. Isn't your usual approach a bit... abrasiveness?" The third agent, another man clad in a bird mask, would take his turn. "Hey, shut up. Our captain is speaking." An annoyed groan would come from behind the feline mask. "Sobek, shut up. Thoth, no one likes a kiss-a**. New kid, pay attention. This is a simple reconnaissance and retrieval mission. Get in, grab some intel from a suspected courier, and get out. Think we can handle that?" It was a simple request, but, as you would soon learn, Team Bastet was not exactly what you would call professionals.

Upon arriving at the gates, Shinji noticed that not only had the cat masked ANBU member, but also two others were standing before him. As their apparent leader began speaking, Shinji listened, ready for whatever test she was going to give him. Curious. It sounded like she wanted him to join them for an actual mission. In fact, that's exactly what was happening. It may not have been something that was particularly difficult, but the prospect of joining in for a mission wasn't what he had expected. Regardless he shrugged and smirked. "Sounds easy enough," came his reply, full of less-than-humble pride. Deep down, he didn't think that he was ready, but he would be damned if he showed that to the captain of this squad.
The question that rang in his mind at this point, was what exactly had the ANBU man, Sobek, meant by "abrasive?" The other, Thoth, had interjected after Sobek's query and only proved his original thought. Kissing a** would get him no where with this woman. He continued to walk towards them, ready to Shunshin right along with them if that was their preferred method of travel out of the gate, or equally prepared to follow them at a normal pace. Either way, he was looking forward to his first encounter with an ANBU mission.
Adrielle walked to the Gates of Arashi, though the village was floating; she wanted to make sure that everything was clear. Though she had turned her life around, she wanted to make sure that her entrance into the Village was legit. She pulled out a scroll with her identification. She approached the ANBU at the gates and extended her form of ID to them “ My name is Adrielle Wells, I’m a merchant and I’m looking to study within the village. “ They looked at each other and nodded:

She rolled her eyes and took back her scroll “ See? That’s what’s wrong with the patriarchy, threatened by an independent woman. “ She made a noise of discontent and walked into the village. She was determined to improve herself as well as be able to defend herself.
The guards of the village would easily be alarmed by the booming sound of myriad wings flapping. It would only take a moment for the sky itself to be swarmed with what initially appeared to be large birds. As one were to continue looking at them, however, their true nature would be revealed. Their bodies were much more humanish in appearance, almost reminiscent of harpies. The creatures cawled and screeched in the sound that mirrored war cries. Before the initial set of guards could warn or worry about an oncoming attack, an eight foot tall man spontaneously appeared in front of the two of them. He towered over them at an impressive eight feet, and on his back were two large back set of eagle wings. He had owl gray hair, and his face was covered by a large, red, mask. "Apologies for the dramatics. My underlings are less developed than I am." He said in a deep, booming voice. "I am aware of ninja kind well enough to know that you are governed by one who calls himself an 'Arashikage'. Might you please summon him for me?" He asked gently. Despite his civility, it was clear that the man was not truly asking a question, but making a demand. On his belt was a large horse slaying blade. Although he had no desire for combat, he would cut these two in half at the same time if they even thought of harming himself or his children.
The Clone of the kage would arrive only after having consulted the Aether building personell as to why they let anyone approach the village in such a way. Ultimately they deemed them as not a threat. Partially, due to the fact that Toso hadn't filled the Aegis building with Xenophobes with Kenshin level ideologies. Still compromising the isolationist nature of the village by not initiating and instead being initiated with was something he'd have to take into consideration. That said the large tengu would soon run into the dapper chap who informed the guardsmen to ease their metaphorical 'arrows'.
"Not often does the village recieve guests. Even less often do they appear as bold as yourself bloop." The Toso clone would say rather politely using 'bold' in a positive connotation. "I am the Arashikage, Tosokurui Ashikoki Hojo. To what do I owe the pleasure." New things often frightened others, however, to someone like Toso the odd was the norm or rather the odd sparked intrigue, already did he find his visitors appearance one to take note of. "Here I'd read your kind merely a myth. bloop. A tengu no? A Yokai?"
Toso would look back to a time ten years ago in an icy tower. A woman there having told him that yokai were myths. That Yuki-Onna didn't exsist. Ha. Were she here today he'd poke fun and relish in this victory. Sadly whatever happened to that girl he'd never know. She could have fallen during Seizan for all he knew.
