Chiharu, give me some intelligence-based Lore rolls. Spirits, Crane Clan, History, Heraldry, the works. The ghost is male, by the way. I'll be posting tomorrow evening, just as a heads up.

Roll: 6, 4, 9, 9, 7 = 31] Result: This is definitely a legit ghost, rather than a "spirit" (which can encompass a lot of unearthly possibilities). Beyond being summoned by meditative prayer or Kitsu magicks, ghosts tend to attach themselves to something. Sometimes it's a person, such as a descendant, but probably more notably they tend to become attached to a specific location. Upon analysis, it seems like the ghost before you is attached to the bridge and that has become its entire world.

Judging by the style of kimono, he is definitely not a 'fresh face'. This ghost is probably at least a hundred years young, but probably no more than 3 centuries.

Extensively so, and recent... but not from your side of the river, it looks like. It looks like a great number of attempts to cross were made from the northwestern shore to this one. The other side of the bridge seems to be in disrepair because of it. A glint catches your eye - you see the helm of a felled Destroyer within the otherwise clear water of the river. You see signs of a few others of their kind now that your attention is drawn to them, all seemingly slain by the blade of a katana.

Good idea though, that's a underused aspect in this setting. 3nodding I understand the absence, I'm getting worn thin with work as of late =_= No judgement from me.
