╔══════════════╗ Hiro gets up and hops up onto the couch then laid down next to his owner. Patrick smiles, "Thanks. Glad to hear that you feel that way" he said about the honesty. "I keep that in mind once I feel what love is" he responded then looks back to the tv. He thinks over the question, "One of them being similar to your third wish" he answered. "Another being about being a part of a real family or having my own family" he said. He strokes his bread a little in thought for the third wish. "I guess the third one would be finding mental peace, like being at peace or something like that" he said then looks back to Roy. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$762.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy had arrived to Patrick's house at 10:30 am, about a half an hour late from when he said he was going to arrive. Roy quickly walked through the snow that was accumulating along the sidewalk, his hands behind his back as he walked towards Patrick's front door. Being late was never his thing, it was something he hated being since being late can completely ruin a schedule. Roy raised a single hand knocked on the door three times and placed his hand back behind his back "I hope he doesn't hold it against me..." Roy mumbled to himself as he waited to see if Patrick would answer.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick was in the kitchen with Hiro and he was cooking Christmas dinner. He couldn't decide on what should be for dessert before hearing knocking on the door. Since Kenzie wasn't around to be answering the door this time and he had a very guess on who it could be he headed on to the front door. As soon as he opens it, he smiles right away at seeing that it was Roy and gives the guy a hug. "Glad to see that you could make it today" he said before pulling away then stepping off to the side of the doorway. "Come on in and warm up" he insisted noticing how cold it is outside. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$762.06 Profile_______________________________________ When Patrick opened the door Roy returned the smile and gave a one handed hug in return "I wouldn't miss spending Christmas with you!" Roy stated as he walked past Patrick into the warm and inviting house. Roy then quickly turned to face Patrick and held something out to him with the hand that had been behind his back until this point. In his hand was a small, rectangular gift that was not so expertly wrapped...in fact it looked like a blind three year old wrapped it. It had gaudy Santa wrapping paper and was covered in tape "Sorry...I've never wrapped a gift before..." he explained, his face flushing from how ugly it looked 'They make it look so easy on TV....' Roy thought to himself in a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick smiles happily, "Happy to hear that" he said and closes the door then locks now that Roy was inside the house. He had a surprised look on his face when a wrapped up gift was revealed to him. "Me neither" he admits about never wrapping up a gift before. "I've never received gift also" he said. "Sorry I don't have one for you. I don't normally celebrate Christmas" he apologizes. "Or maybe the puppy statue will count as a gift since the paint is dry" he suggested which made him feel better. ╚══════════════╝

Roy said, smelling things that could only be coming from the kitchen.

"Oh right, I was tending to the Christmas dinner" he explained what the smells were. "Also I was trying to figure out what to make for dessert" he added. Roy then walked into the kitchen and looked around "So do you need any help with anything or what?" the older man asked as he looked at everything Patrick had done at this point. He'd hate to have Patrick do all the work and himself doing nothing to help at all.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick listens to the question, "The cake with the most calories. I'm done with that challenge" he answered. He wasn't sure if he made the cake during the past few years, but he knows he hasn't made cake recently nor that kind in during his childhood. He looks through the cake mixes he has in the cabinet, "I have the cake mix for it. You can help by being in charge of the cake, Roy" he tells him. Everything else was in the middle of cooking. He set the cake mix down on the counter then went about checking everything else in the kitchen. ╚══════════════╝

Only taking a few moments he got the ingredients he needed from the refrigerator out and got to work on mixing everything in the nearby mixer "So Patrick...where did you learn how to cook?" Roy asked, figuring he'd start a conversation while waiting on the ingredients to mix all together.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick opens up the oven to check up on one of the food in there. "These are done" he said as he removes the pan full of puff pastry parcels with a oven mitt. It was representing the Greece culture and he set down the pan on a nearby counter before closing the oven. "Books and tv" he answered with a short response. "It was learn the skill or survive on junk food and take-out. Limited funds also and can't rely on school food" he explained to him. ╚══════════════╝

He quickly greased it and poured the now mixed batter into the cake pan and glanced at Patrick "If you don't mind me asking....why have you been alone on Christmas?" Roy asked as he walked over and put the cake into the now open oven. Roy was only asking because it baffled him how someone as nice as Patrick could be alone on Christmas.

"No friends, parents always away on their trips, and relatives didn't celebrate Christmas" he answered. He couldn't count Kenzie because the first met late winter. "What would you like as beverage?" he asked him. He figured he could give him a choice on that one also since he will be consuming it. "Would you be against consuming any food with liquor in it?" he asked him. ╚══════════════╝
