I mainly got myself into it through dislike of a regular pairing. I felt that two other characters should have gone together and really didn't care that they were both male. Since I use to go to fan fiction sites often, I'd read stories about them..
Until eventually, I found an NC-17/R one. And wala.

I was about 11. Maybe 12. And I stumbled upon one of MD's Legend of Zelda yaoi pictures... and well, something clicked. And the rest was history.

Well it all started with me being introduced to anime (Dragon Ball Z was my first real anime) by my brother. At the time I didn't understand the concept of anime and manga that well yet. Slowly, I became more interested in it. Then, cut to a couple years later, my first Otaku friend introduces me to more anime (ones with plenty of bishis) and eventually, she introduced me to the wonderful world of Guy-on-Guy. At first, I was hesitant to admit that I actually liked seeing guys kissing or *ehem* having sex. But later I got over it and eventually became the fully fledged crazed yaoi fangirl that I am today! I also recently converted my friend to yaoi. Shes hooked. ^^

Um..My best friend and x aiden and my girl friend dragged me into it.
they gave me a fanfic and ive loved yaoi ever scence.

I was reading Fullmetal Alchemist fanfiction when I stumbled across a Roy/Ed fic, (I used to be against yaoi sweatdrop but not anymore) and thought wow! This wasn't what i expected! From then on out I was and still am obsessed with Roy/Ed, my horizons kept expanding after that. (Gravitation)

My friend bought me a bunch of Yaoi mangas for christmas and she didn't realize they were yaoi >.> and I read them and was in love with yaoi from that moment on ^^'
