S'vass was going to finish the guard off, when he heard and seen the human girl with a tail yelling stop.
Lowering his club, S'vass looked the lass over once. Then looked at the helpless guard. "Aye, this king's pet sought battle. I was more than willing to give it. Isn't that right king's pet?"

Petra leans down and tries to help the guard back to his feat. She is immensely stronger then her small size would lead others to believe. She glares angrily at the lizard man. "Our...job...is to...protect...people...and monsters...We need...to show...that...we...belong...in society"

Odd to think such a small thing could save a coward from it's death. "What's your name, brave one?

"Wait wait wait wait wait." A chirpy voice called out as an elf in guard uniform rounded the corner. He was completely out of breath. "Im here."

Petra still stares angrily at the Lizard Man. "My name...is...Petra...and...the society...works...for...the king."
As the elf approaches the group Petra looks up at him not sure what to say. She had not witnessed the events that had taken place up to this point. She only wanted to keep the guard from being further hurt. She was just happy things had calmed down, at least for the moment.

"I don't work for anyone, save my own interests. The Society's allies speak nothing of mine." The lizard's head turnned to face the elf guard, yet continued to talk to Petra. "I am S'vass, and apparently the only non pet of the king."
Reaching into his purse, S'vass pulled out 500 coins and tossed them at the ogre's feet. "That should cover all charges, and more for your cowardice health "

Petra gave S'vass a confused but still none the less angry look. She did not understand his motivation. "Then...why...why join...the society? Do...do you not...understand...what...they are...all about"

Petra looks down at the ground and shakes her head, clearly not satisfied with S'vass answer. However she asks no further questions of him and makes to leave for the front gate, less the guards stop her for some reason.

You are able to make it to the gate with the others without any guards stopping you.
