"You're staying here until closing!" Said the mustachioed man to the boxer.

"But it's a 24 hour gym..." Maurice looked over at the door and pointed to the Jamaican who was leaving with his coach. "See? Knuckles is going home!"

"Knuckles didn't get here late!" The man folded his arms and pressed them against his pudgy belly, looking the young blue-haired man in the eye.

"The fight is the day after tomorrow, I can't overwork myself, then I'll never have a chance at... what was it you said again? Fame? Glory?" He leaned in and met his coach's gaze and said in a sing-song voice, "Revenge~?"

The coach tapped his fingers as he became red in the face, for once the punk was right. "Ohhh... fine! But remember, tomorrow is carb loading!" Kintobor yelled out his reminder at Maurice as he ran to the exit happily, he was free! Finally free for the day! And he knew just where he was heading after the long and strange day... his favorite bar.

Luna blushed as the woman reached across and buckled her seatbelt for her. "You didn't need to..." her voice trailed off, her head dropping slightly when she thought about how much pain Lucy had just saved her. "...Thank you."

She looked out the window as they drove, wondering once again about her leftovers. When the cab pulled aside, she looked out and recognized the red-haired woman who had given her lunch, and winced inwardly with regret. s**t. s**t s**t s**t I hope she doesn't ask about the food! She smiled at the redhead, then tried to look away without being too obvious about it.

((No kidding. Suddenly, people!))

Mistee was just about to give up and head to the park, then find her way home that way when a cab slowly pulled up beside her. Her heart began to race with the sudden interaction that was to come. She clung to her phone, knees buckling, subconsciously trying to make herself smaller. “I-I…” she tried so hard, shoulders rising as she tried to make words escape her.

That’s when she noticed a face she knew, face relaxing in it’s terror. She carefully walked over to the cab, pointing to Luna with a bit of a smile. “I-I…”she took in a breath, “W-W…” she tried again, still pointing at her. “H-He…”she nodded her head, closing her eyes, placing a small hand on the cab, “H-Hell….lo.” her face turned into a bright maze of smiles and utter victory! ‘Yes! I said something to her! Okay now just tell the other lady you can’t remember where you live…that sounds rather clever, you utter git!’ she scolded herself for sounding so silly, even in her own mind.

And then her stomach growled loudly, Mistee’s face burning from nose to ear. ‘No! Shh just don’t stare at her!’ But that was in fact what she did. She stared at both women like a deer in headlights. ‘You’re a git! A git! Just tell them! You’re being a boog. Just say something. Ugh, you’re a ******** knob…just say a word!’
“Word…” she whispered, her face growing brighter than her hair.
‘nailed it!’

Levi’s face was unamused now, “Well you stink like s**t. So perhaps we shall dine in.” she took a step back from her, mostly as a joke. But she did stink. “We wait for Tobias to come along with the bike and we leave. For now…” she leaned back into the alley a bit, “We keep it down. I don’t feel like adding cop killer to my resume anytime soon.”
‘Yes you do…’
“Let’s get shitty Chinese food tonight. I want some rice.” She said, keeping Nes out of sight by standing just enough in the way.

It didn’t take long for Tobias to come along on the bike, his girlfriend trailing behind in his car. Levi took it without a single word, sliding on and waited for Nes before speeding off in the direction of home, not so much as a thank you for Tobias. She did not reward with words. He was paid, so he doesn’t need validations. He wasn’t a dog. Well. He was.

Aw, hell. She immediately felt a wave of sympathy roll over her. This poor redhead was another painfully shy soul, except this one seemed to have trouble even getting a single word out. It would be so much easier to leave this woman where she stood....but Lacy knew that she wouldn't. At this rate, maybe she needed to hang around more of the junkies and dealers and other bottom feeders. At least then maybe she would lose a bit of this conscience that was plaguing her.

As she watched the two other woman smile in recognition at each other, she noticed the redhead trying desperately to make conversation while Luna tried to not attract overt attention. Lacy started at the 'Word', being unsure exactly at what the redheaded woman meant, but upon seeing her flaming cheeks, decided against remarking on it. God, if we wait for her to speak up, we might all be waiting forever. I guess it's up to me to speed this up. Trying to be as pleasant as possible, she smiled and told the wide-eyed stranger, "Hey, look, if you're lost, maybe we can help you find where you need to go. If you get in, I can take you somewhere." Upon remembering the woman's painful shyness, she added, "And look, if it's easier, you can write down the address." Thinking to herself, I hope Luna doesn't have a problem with this. Oh well....

A few moments pass and Gypsy returns with a menu and a glass of ice water. Placing the glass on a napkin before Kaylin, she then hands her the menu. "What might you be hungry for? There's all kinds of sandwiches, soup, and salads. Oh, and a plethora of sweet treats."

Setting a straw down as well, she gives a Kaylin a smile. "Do you need a moment to look, need me to not hover?" Gypsy gives a wink at the end. While waiting for Kaylin to respond, she glances around to see if anyone else needs her. She could busy herself elsewhere if the girl before her needed a moment.

Nes scowls more when Levi steps away from her, even less amused than the taller woman. She carefully tucks a protesting Spice into her hoodie when Tobias drives up, quickly hopping onto the bike behind Levi. She hums absently to herself as Levi drives back to their home, the wind snatching the noise away before it could be heard.

Luna's head turned toward the redhead when she spoke, surprised. She spoke! She... she has a lovely voice. She smiled at the painfully shy woman, trying to look comforting.

"Hello, miss. It's... lovely to see you again." Hearing the redhead's stomach growl, Luna realized that her own was rather empty, despite having eaten a few hours ago. Other peoples' hunger always set her off, no matter how well she'd be able to hide it on her own. Her stomach gurgled quietly and she shoved her wrist into her gut to quiet it, wincing slightly as the bones in her hand shifted painfully. Well s**t.

She turned her face to Lacy, who was still looking at the red-haired woman, and hoped her stomach hadn't been too audible. "I... I'd like to help her get home." She thought for a moment. "She was at the park for lunch, maybe she lives nearby?"

Aaron hurried home & water the plant he was given. He spoke to it like the shop owner said to. She was right, it did make him feel better. The young man would take good care of the plant & even wrote the plant's name on a post-it note & taped the note to a toothpick. He stuck the small sign in the pot's soil so that possible visitors would come to his shabby apartment.

His home was well taken care of by the mechanic, though disorganized in some places. The coffee table had many notebooks of random designs on it & the calendar had random shorthands of dates scribbled on it. There was a small book shelf that kept many books & a few photos. What stood out the most was what on the walls. Various artworks & photos of families, however in one small section there was an American flag & several medals. They were oddly tucked in a non-noticeable corner.

Aaron decided he needed a drink after his panic attack & went out for dinner & drink. He had heard about the place from his co-workers.

The Full Moon Pub was always a popular place, in part cause of how it was run by a very dynamic couple team. Alvin Tema, better known by his nickname Chip, was the charismatic waiter, always bubbly and cheerful in almost any situation, and knew everything there was to know about the bar's regulars. Darcy Tema, however, was the polar opposite of her husband. Quiet and cold, the last thing she wanted to do was talk to drunken strangers. But if there was one thing she was good at, it was mixing drinks.

And such was the state of things when Maurice came up to the entrance of the pub, only to find himself face to face with the man from this morning. "...Oh. Uh, hey there. ...Again." Well this was awkward.

The mechanic blinked having met the boxer again. "...Oh... H-Hello... S-Sorry about... th-this morning..." Aaron stumbled over his words. He regretted insulting the man. "...So... y-you've been here be-fore..?" he asked gesturing to the bar, "...C-Coworkers were t-talking about... so... uh... y-yeah..."

Mistee looked from one woman to the other in an attempt at her best polite behavior, despite her rude inability to speak to them properly. ‘Just tell them Washington Dr. that’s all you need to know, you can find your complex them’ she said to herself.

Her eyes traveled to the woman she met earlier when she spoke. Mistee’s lips curled into the biggest smile, pearls gleaming in the diming light. Someone was happy to see her? A stranger? Oh…that was nice~ She opened her mouth to reply, very carefully, “Dia duit,” she greeted, with a slight bow. She never had trouble speaking to people in Gaelic. It was a trick a friend back home had taught her. If no one knew what she was saying, it was much less frightening to speak to them. English seemed more intimidating to her…

Mistee took in a deep breath, “W-Wash…”her gut clenched with fear, giving up and pulling out her notepad on her phone, quickly texting and showing the screen, “Washington Dr. is my street. I don’t know how I got turned around…” it read.

Her eyes traveled to the woman’s hands, clearly red and battered from something, “Ah!” she pointed to them, face curling into a mess of concern and somewhat panic, “An bhfuil tú ceart go leor?”

It didn’t take long for the two to get home, once Levi drove around a few blocks to figure out where they were. She carefully pulled the bike in front of the home, waiting for Nes to get off before she swung her Amazon leg over, slipping the key into her pocket. She pulled the helmet off Nes’ head, “Go take a shower or whatever,” she said, ignoring her protest for the most part.

She nudged the door open with her hip, placing the helmet on the side table, tossing the keys on the table. “I’ll order pizza or something. A quick meal, since that d’bag took up our time. Then you head to night classes.” Her attempts at a motherly tone were clearly lost in her unbelievably uncaring voice.

Reading the cell phone's text, she thought to herself, Ok. Washington Drive. Yeah, that's not far from the park. Looking from Luna's questioning face to the redheaded woman's bright smile, Lacy sighed. Wait....what? She spoke to the shy woman, "Um....I can take you to Washington Drive....but I have no idea what you just said." Obviously the woman knew English, she had written it, but Lacy had never heard that particular language, before. She frowned, thinking to herself, I hope this isn't going to make this more difficult.

Upon hearing both women's stomach loudly protesting, Lacy told the two, "Why don't you get in and I can take you home. Or....well...it sounds like you're both hungry. Would you rather get something to eat, first?" She added as an afterthought, "Oh, and I'm Lacy, by the way."

Luna looked back to the redhead, watching as her gaze drifted to her hands. When she spoke, it was a language that Luna recognized, but wasn't able to translate directly. Seeing the concern in her eyes, Luna looked at her hands, then back to the redhead and smiled. "Hmm? Oh, yes, I'm okay." She waved her hands around a little. "It looks much worse than it is, promise." She rested one hand over the other in her lap and nodded.

She shifted her gaze to Lucy, sighing inwardly. "I... I appreciate the offer, but I feel like I'm already imposing too much accepting a drink... And I don't currently have any money for food." She resolved to keep her stomach quiet, no matter what, and gave Lucy a regretful half-smile.
