Sayako carried on, she had heard but she wasn't one to just forgive so easily like some were, she was offended good and proper and with her, when that happens, she has a chip on her shoulder for a while...unless of course she was given something but he didn't know that and never would, though it was quite easy to win her over again just that a certain item was her favourite gift and out of everything one could find in this place it would be hard to find but of course if he spoke to the right Kitsu's he would be able to find it out, she would just see how far he would to try and make it up to her.
Odessa had arrived home and laid down on her bed, visiting her friend was perfect and now she was seriously thinking of getting that sleep she wanted earlier, she was back to thinking about nothing more then Orion and that was all she ever did want.

He walked back to Odessa's going over in his head what he would say, nothing sounded right and before he knew it he was there and could see Odessa on her bed... well guess practice time was over. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath to steel himself. He stopped before crossing the thresh hold of her cave, he figured he still wasn't exactly welcomed and she could hear him from here so he sat watching her for a moment unsure how to proceed. "I'm sorry." seemed the best way to start, course his voice alone would probably set her in a fowl mood. "I was wrong to insist upon meeting him and...." yeah he wasn't going to get this right and he already knew it, he sighed "I hope he.." if he said he hoped this guy was everything she wanted she would hear that he didn't think the guy was.. if he said he hoped the guy made her happy she would hear that he didn't think he would... whatever he said would get twisted... so what to say? "I won't get in your way if this is what you want" he was going to either be a glorified baby sitter or run out of town and he didn't like it but he was hopping ... well he didn't know what he was hoping... that they'd at least think fondly of him when he was gone? He sat there watching and waiting not sure if she would simply ignore him, fly off the handle, or heaven forbid actually accept his apology he took a deep breath bracing himself in anticipation of option number two

Odessa sighed, couldn't she be left alone!? Oh well, at least he was apologising "apology" she said as she looked over at him "accepted, now that wasn't so hard was it?" Alright, that may have been uncalled for yes, a small part of her was still bitter but she would leave it at that.
Electra ran in moments later and grinned at the two of them "you two, follow me please" she said, oblivious as to what has been going on all day.
Odessa looked at the her sister and then back at Gersif, wondering what was going on "why?" She asked curiously "where are we going?" She asked again.
"Just follow me!" Electra said as she ran out of the cave and waited for them.
"Do I have to? I just want to go to bed..."
"Please Dessa!" Electra begged "just humour me!" She said again.
Odessa sighed "alright, lets go" she said as she followed her sister.

Gersif was just relaxing in relief as she added that little bit to the end which drew a frown from him, Electra's happy mood helped relieve his frustration though, he really did like her she was such a wonderful kid and he couldn't be upset around her. He wondered where she was going to take them though and how this was going to go with Odessa still not quite in a good mood. This had to be the plotting though there couldn't be two separate plots going on at the same time for them, too much of a coincidence and well he didn't think Electra was taking them to see a flower or something not with the way she was acting about it. He didn't say a word though just followed behind Odessa figuring staying out of eye sight for the time being would help her mood. He took the time to think of ways to apologize to Sayako

Electra carried on in front of them, not worrying about her sister and Mr Gersif for a while, they had a little way to go since they were going to the beach and so this would give them time to talk or whatever.
Odessa stopped and took a deep breath and then moved to walk beside Gersif "the least we can do is not have my sister worry something was up so lets play nice" she said softly to him as they walked along together, wondering where they were taking us when the sun would be setting soon and she didn't really want to be out after night fall, due to an incident as an adolescence she wasn't fond of being out after dark anymore even if she was with someone.

Gersif nodded in agreement not wanting to risk saying something which might upset her again but he felt odd in the quiet, with things still odd between them the silence was becoming uncomfortable. "Any idea where we're going?" He whispered, not quite looking at her his eyes were on Electra though he did keep Odessa in his peripheral he just didn't want to aggravate her or become aggravated himself.

"No idea, sort of wish I did though" she whispered back "I hate being out after sun set and she knows that" she said as she carried on following her sister, hoping this wasn't going to take long, the sooner she got back to her cave the sooner she would feel safer.

Gersif frowned not sure what to do or say, he could to a certain extent understand discomfort in the dark but he had slept so often outside that it seemed silly, he had to remind himself hers was a sheltered life compared to his. He wondered too why Electra who knew this would bring her sister out so late she was too sweet to be cruel. He simply nodded to acknowledge hearing her not sure what he could do or say.

Odessa wasn't 'sheltered'...well, to an extent she was, but when a Trick comes over to you and basically wants to make YOU his dinner when all you were doing was taking a drink from the lake before bed then no, that isn't anything to do with being 'sheltered' that was a trick wanting to friggen KILL you and EAT you, I think she was allowed to be afraid of the dark after that, she was only a kid for goodness sake. Thankfully though some stranger happened along and actually saved her, she got terribly injured before he came along, having tried to fight him off but still, if it wasn't for that stranger helping out she would of been killed and eaten.
After a while they all made it to the edge of the Greot Saewewall, home of Dragons, Water's and familiars, once they got to a trail of rose petals Electra stopped "you two go on ahead, just follow the trail of rose petals, a dragon will be waiting for you and his name is Sapphire and will be your waiter for this evening" she said as she started back the way she came "and 'Dessa, don't worry so much about being out after sunset, there are a whole network of Celestials watching you...well...not now exactly but will be once you leave here and Sapphire gives the word, so just relax and enjoy yourselves" she said as she ran off to meet the others, deciding to have dinner together tonight.
"Electra! Wait!" She called after her sister, her sister not listening which just made her sigh "I guess we better get this over with" she said as she started to follow the trail of rose petals, wishing this wasn't as long as it was but from the looks of things they still had a mile walk to go, oh well, guess this was meant to be the 'walk along the beach' part of the date, she was going to have to talk to that lot tomorrow, she LOATHED being put on blind dates...well, in a way this was, just that the actual date part was the blind bit, she knew who she was meant to be 'dating'.

Gersif looked to the rose petal trail then to Odessa and to Electra and back around again not quite sure what was ahead, what they had planned but he wasn't sure that now was the right time. He watched Electra as she disappeared back the way they came. Once she was gone he looked to Odessa, he'd let her decide. Once she started her walk he followed her trying to think of something to say that wouldn't upset her.. if he offered to protect her would she take it as him thinking she was incapable of doing so herself? He really was better off saying nothing.. would she be offended by that as well though? He was told he couldn't not talk... "I'll not let anything happen to you" he hoped it came off as reassuring, glancing at her quickly before focusing on the petals ahead

"Thank you" she said politely to him, deciding that she could be civil at the very least even though she was wanting to say something else but decided to just leave it at that.
After a little while longer they came across what the others had set it, it was a mini luau for them both at least in some ways, the decorations (with a romantic twist to them), the human hula dancers and band and the rest was basically built for kitsus, on the table there were many different fruits, veggies, a wide selection of meats and...no Sapphire "I thought Sapphire was meant to be here" she said as she noticed some human male in a tux come out of the bushes and stand there smiling at them "and what is with the penguin?" She asked rhetorically as she looked over everything, minus the missing dragon, which she was now worried about, the place looked wonderful.

He glanced at her thank you expecting more but it never came, he didn't know if that was good or not. He had to suppress a laugh at the penguin comment, "Would you feel safer if I scouted ahead?" It was an honest question but .. well he never quite knew how things would go with her. H really doubted the others would let anything happen to them especially after they went through so much trouble to arrange all this.... he really owed Sayako an apology. He wagered the human had his part in this considering the outfit, he didn't notice humans normally dressing in that fashion so he figured it had something to do with the event planned. His stomach growled in anticipation of all the food laid out before them.. his marinating fish seemed pitiful in comparison

"No, it is fine" she said as she got closer and looked at all the food, this was awesome, her tummy growled, obviously agreeing with her train of thought and looked at Gersif "this looks wonderful" she said as she took a seat.
"I am Vincent, a friend of Lenore's, I will be your waiter this evening as Sapphire has been called away to tend to something so I will be filling in for him" he said as he smiled at them.
Odessa was fine with Tristan, if Lenore trusted him she could, she reached over and took a grape and eat it, this spread truly was a great sight, she was wondering a little what dessert would be.

He nodded his agreement mouth watering he hadn't realized how hungry he was until now but he wanted to stay on guard his eyes keeping the human in sight and staying cautious of any other movement, he couldn't have Odessa go and get traumatized and blame him. He looked to Odessa when the human spoke, checking her reaction to see if she felt safe, once satisfied she did he sat himself near by, not sure what was an appropriate distance but not wanting to be too close and upset her. He wondered absently what Sapphire was up to and how the word would get out to the 'network of celestials' that Electra mentioned. It was all going to be on him if something happened, course he could pull and Odessa and end up getting himself killed to save her... course then he wouldn't be able to finally hear her appreciate him... course she would probably go on telling his body how he was an a** and did it all wrong. He would just have to be diligent tonight for her sake. He wondered about her date with this Orion, would it be as nice as this? He doubted it, this took human intervention, but she would probably enjoy Orion's date more. He took a deep breath to settle his mind, he didn't want to ruin this before it even began, but he was starting to see why others seemed to prone to violent mood swings, the society of others seemed to cause unbalance .. or at least that's what he thought.
So what was suppose to happen tonight? His brain switched gears finally focusing at least partly on the date. How was this suppose to go? What were they suppose to do? What parts were they to play? He'd never been on a date before, he didn't quite get how it worked or what the dynamics were.

Odessa got comfortable and looked up at Vincent, gesturing that she wished to eat.
Vincent looked at Odessa "you wish to eat?" He asked as Odessa nodded.
"Alright then, what would you like?" He asked as he picked up one of the plastic disposable plates.
Odessa pointed out what she wanted and waited till the plate.
Vincent dished out what she wanted and placed it in front of her before looking at Gersif "and you?"
