 Larkanna nodded and sat down in front of him, she continued to take deep breaths to keep the magic flow within her steady and completely under her control. It was then that she could feel the connection between them clearly for the first time. It wasn't like a chain that bound them together, it was more like a heart that they shared, a pulse that made them equal when it came to magic and emotions. With that in mind, she began to focus her own magic to pulse with the 'heart' and made their magic in sync with one anothers.

 Elkand actually felt the magic flow easily now between them and it became much easier to use the spell. He felt himself start to move off the ground but could tell she was as well. The flow of their magical energy seemed to move in between them having them both share the desired effect. It was certainly a good start and it appeared as if he was right they weren't shackled together their energies were mixed together neither stepping above or below. He held it for a good few minutes before he took a deep breath and with her made sure to lower themselves to the ground gently as he opened his eyes and looked at her generally surprised but he seemed happy. He watched the magic between them fade " I assume you felt it as well?" he asked her curious to know if she could feel the same thing he was at the moment.

Larkanna felt as if she were as light as air when they began to levitate, and was tempted to simply fly away with wherever the wind planned to take her, but she put away such petty thoughts and lowered with him. Opening her eyes, she grinned, "That was remarkable!" The feeling of the spell had felt even easier than the simplest spell that she'd ever learned. She was too flabbergasted to say anything else.

Elkand smiled " It felt so...easy..easier then when I first learned the spell." he said and stood offering his hand to her to assist her in standing " Maybe this will make it easier as long as we stay in tune with each other." he said and smiled " It was incredible I've never felt anything like it...so easy and simple this connection i more amazing than I thought." he said his amazement showing even in his darkened eyes. He was amazed at what they felt and the fact their magic seemed to work so well together what seemed to be a curse at first turned into an amazing tool even ridding themselves of the boundaries that stood between them before.

Larkanna reached out and took his hand. She felt so energized and more hopeful than she'd ever felt before. It was as if there was more power within their confines than that outside of their bonding. "Surely this is what the magic wanted us to uncover... why else would it put a witch and wizard together?" Shaking her head a little, she still couldn't stop herself from smiling.

Elkand was just as amazed as she was smiling to her and himself " There's a reason behind everything..." he said " This bond is truly incredible I wonder what more it enables on to do." he said " It took away our true abilities to use magic on our owns but only gave us greater power together...shall we attempt another spell?" he asked her still holding her hand not even realizing it " I'm actually happy we got bound together Larkanna." he said and he actually meant it. He actually kind of wished he had learned about this sooner and maybe he could have done more research but for now they were on their own.

Larkanna didn't notice that he was still holding her hand as she replied, "I would love to attempt another spell." She'd never felt so eager to perform a spell before this moment, with such discovery right in front of their faces. Her smile softened when he said that he was actually happy that they'd been bound. "I am, too."

Elkand smiled and let go of her hand and faced forward holding out his hand " We'll attempt a simple thunder ball spell its mid level but maybe if we focus it'll become a simple beginners spell." he said and focused a small ball of electricity building in his hand but it didn't grow much. It seemed to be waiting for her to do the same. He wondered if he was right since a beginner spell was almost nothing he wondered if it would work for this as well.

Taking a step back, she opened her mind to 'listen' for the pulse again. Finding it much easier this time, she reached out and electricity began to crackle and snap, growing more powerful than she'd thought possible for such a spell. She kept her mind out to listen for the signal to end the spell.

Elkand held the spell but start to feel strange the electicball moving. The ball stopped right in between them and then started to pull her towards it until the tow merged it became much larger taking both their magic energy into it but he didn't feel tired. Elkand took a deep breath and opened his eyes to look but kept his energy in sync with hers. He looked at it and smiled " Larkanna look." he said " But keep yuor energy steady." he said.

Larkanna had felt the electricity ball moving, but tried to pay little attention to it. Opening her eyes, she saw that their magics were being drawn into it, but she didn't feel the usually tiring effects that would have crept on on her at any other time. It was a remarkable sight that she wished she could somehow preserve deeply within her memory. Glancing up at Elkand, her eyes filled with excitement and wonder, she made sure to keep her energy levels the same as to not throw their magics out of balance.

Elkand takes a deep breath and let the attack fly directing it into the sky where it explodes. He smiled and looks at her " Its amazing...that felt so easy I hardly felt the strain!" he said and smiled " This is great..magic like this isn't really known and we get to experience it first hand." he said and sits down " Fate is also a kind thing and I thank it for connecting me with you Larkanna and for giving us a chance to experience it and figure out what secret it's holding." he said and laid down " Luckily we don't need to go higher than Mid-level magic." he said.

Larkanna continued to gaze up at the sky. The sparks looked like living stars as they shone once or twice before fading away into nothing. The wonders that this new breed of magic held... and the new dangers that arose were nothing in comparison to this moment. Sitting down across from him, she said, "Even if it does require more magic than what we've just practiced, I have a feeling that we could perform them just as easily if we took a moment to perform what he just did. This new magic has endless potentials that I believe can be used to our advantage and ours only."

Elkand nodded " I agree with that..our only....wait..." he said and sat up " You do remember this is still an engagement mark right?" he asked " You sound content with that." he said and smiled " However I don't think this will only be hours...while on this strong might only be ours maybe just maybe if I study this enough we can create something like it able to connect witches and wizards together and rid this world of the awful prejudice and hatred." he said " I mean if wizards can marry monsters then with this they can marry witches...you'd have that place of peace you talked about." he said " Buts its a simple wish..I wouldn't know where to begin with it." he said.

Larkanna nodded, "That would end the differences between witches and wizards... that would be a pleasant start to making this world as peaceful as possible." Glancing down at the mark, she had grown so used to it being there that she'd almost forgotten about it altogether. I can't believe I despised this weeks ago... Looking back up at him, she said, "If there's going to be a change of hearts, we're going to have to be an example. We have to take the first step in the right direction." She had an inkling as to where this was going to lead, and though her old self tried pushing it away, she reminded herself that this was for the future generations of witches and wizards everywhere.
