Link sighed. Being homesick was terrible, and he couldn't shake it off by going back because there were girls stuck at Forsaken Fortress. He decided to go change into the clothes his grandma had given him in the mean time. They looked a little too warm though...
Seton had been sprawled on the deck for quite a while now, and he was getting tired of it. The cold deck made his aches worse, and chilled him to the bone. He really wanted to go find a bed to lay down in until he got to that fortress place. He needed all the rest he could get, considering he was all bruised and burned. He sighed as Tetra looked down at him.
"What are you doing lying around on the deck?" she asked him with a perplexed look on her face.
"If you could give me a bed to lay down in, I wouldn't be laying around now would I?"
"True. Just go down the hall and look for something."
With that Seton slowly dragged himself to the nearest bed.

Aryll looked out onto the horizon with her telescope, feeling as if she was back at Outset. The only thing that wasn't like Outset was the rough shouts of the pirates down below. She looked down at the deck and saw Link, rolling up invisible sleeves. "Hoy, Big Brother!" She shouted, climbing down the ladder. "Link, why are you all sweaty? Those clothes had never been too hot for you." She said, watching him wipe off a sheen of sweat and pull at an invisible collar.
((This will be like the second gameplay of Windwaker. The one where only people with honest hearts can see the Hero's Clothes? I was truely surprised to find that Aryll couldn't see them...))

(Hmmm, although it would be cool if no one but honest people could see his clothes, but I think it would be better if it was the regular story. Besides, it was just a bonus really, the "invisible clothes" part. To be fair, everyone can see his clothes.)

You can still use him if you want to post though razz ) Seton groaned. All of the extra effort made his wounds ache. He almost wanted to scream out in pain, but, like the prideful teenager he was, he kept his mouth shut. He didn't like being stuck in a tiny room on a swaying boat. It gave him a trippy sense of dizziness.

Varten sighed as he tried to draw out a vague drawing of the bird based on descriptions he heard from some of the islanders. All he had as physical evidence were a few feathers he hoped were from the bird, not from the local wildlife. He just wished he had a little bit more to go on, like an idea of where the bird may have gone. This hunt was looking rather grim...even for some of the expeditions he had already been on.
He was lucky enough to get back on board with the pirates' ship, so it wasn't all bad. At least he didn't have to go through and make his own boat on his own, he could hitchhike for a while. Of course, it looked like the newcomer to the ship, Seton, was having an even worse time than he was. So he guessed he shouldn't complain, obviously things could be worse for him, right?

Aryll smiled at her brother, then looked out at the horizen with her telescope. In the distance, she could see the vague outline of the Forsaken Fortress. "Looks like we are almost there!" Aryll exclaimed, looking at Link. "You might want to get ready, because you might be the one going in there, knowing that you have a weapon and all."

Link gulped. It was rather... Dangerous looking. The closer they got to it, the more sinister it looked, almost giving him goosebumps. He gripped the railing more tightly, as if it would restore some sense into him. Gradually, he accepted the fact he would have to go in there at some point, and he looked a Aryll excitedly. "Let's do this!" he exclaimed.
Seton groaned. The burns and scrapes have almost healed, but it was still throbbing. If he could grit his teeth and try to ignore the pain, he could do it. He could fight with Link and attempt this suicide mission. But... Since they weren't there yet, it wouldn't hurt to rest a bit.
