Sayomi stared, captivated bythe flames consuming the whiteness of Willow's paper. Wherever the flames crept, Twisted blackness was left. As the fire slowly swallowed the paper, an image crept, unbidden into her mind. Sticky crimson staining the whiteness of shaggy carpet...
Sayomi recoiled, as if the fire had burned her instead of the paper. Too late she registered the inn keepers inquiry of he well being. The half angel frowned as she watched Willow leave the room. Her wings twitched slightly in annoyance at herself.
She glanced about, wondering if she should perhaps follow Willow.

"you ok?" Saika asked she noticed how Sayomi reacted to the fire and was generally concerned "if your troubled take a sip of this" Saika added offering a sip from her gourd

Once out in the hallway, Willow stopped to lean against the wall, although she soon continued to the end of the hall, where the servant's quarters were located. With her eyes downcast, she found the doornob with her hand, though she did not proceed to go inside. It troubled her that so many people had suddenly come to the inn, and were now parading about as if it was their own home. But they had no idea what it was like to live here; they were mere strangers in a world that only she knew.
Suddenly, Willow shook her head, dissagreeing with herself. these are good people, she thought, There are worse matters at hand, and all I can think about is myself.She slammed her forhead against the door and closed her eyes as she tried to console herself.

Cyra glanced at the others, before taking a seat facing Bartheyamus. Her smile was absent now as she folded her hands, resting her chin on them. In a quiet and serious voice not meant to travel to ears that chose not to hear it. "We have a massive threat that would probably best be left alone, but unfortunately seems to have targeted us and intends to torture, main and possibly kill." Her eyes sharpened although her thoughts were focused inward, "Meaning that currently our best option is to stay together and gather information. After all, it is harder to take on a group than one or two. The flaw with that however, is that everyone in the group has to know each other well enough to be able to work together, to know strengths, weaknesses, fears, everything, and there are some who keep that information as close as possible, fearing that it will be used against them."

He looked at Cyra and his eyes flashed a bright white. " My thoughts exactly, the more we know of ourselves, the stronger we are. Like a chain. My only thought is how can we do that with such little time before he shows up again?" he was speaking telepathically.

Willow heard urgent voices in the lobby; they were so quiet that she could not discern what they where saying, but she knew it was important, and she could pretty much guess what it was about. She opened her eyes and looked down at her hand, which was quivering. With a sigh of exasperation, she let go of the doornob and raced back down the hall to the lobby, where the rest were talking. Taking a deep breath, she murmured quietly, "I think...I think I'm going to try and help you guys.... I can't do much, but i'll definately try. If it's for this inn, then I'll do anything"

Bartheyamus' eyes dimmed, resorting to regular speech. He didn't know how she could hear telepathic thoughts not meant for her but it mattered little.
"We'll take all the help we can get." he stated with strength in his voice
"What did you have in mind?"

Sayomi smiled and close her fingers around the mouth of the gourd, accepting the girls offer. She sniffed carefully, detecting imediently the type of drink within. She cast a curious look at the girl before raising the gourd to her lips and taking a deep drink. She sputtered as the drink burned her throat. As Sayomi handed the gourd back to the girl, she could feel warmth coiling in her belly, a lovely warmth that slowly seeped into her sore muscles.
"Thank you, I really needed that." She grinned mischievously at the girl before her attention was captured by the male vampire and female... Sayomi squinted, unable to make out the female's other form. Silently she was annoyed by this.
"Groups? Hang on. What's going on?" a slight edge flavored the girls words as she glanced at the two.

Cyra glanced around at the others before turning so she could face everyone. Secretly she was slightly relieved at not having to talk telepathically. She could do it just fine, it just wasn't something she enjoyed doing. "Our idea is simple, we need to work together as a functioning group, covering each other's weaknesses so that none are left to be singled out. To do that though we would have to get to know everyone fairly well, and be able to work together."
