XNiteCrawlerX who else thinks Smackdown is getting ripped off so far in the draft? They should just get rid of Smackdown, and have everyone on RAW. 3nodding

Bad idea. The whole point of the Draft in the first place was to get more guys involved with the show, and that has happened. Before the brand extension, John Cena would have been lost in the shuffle, now he holds the WWE championship. However, I do agree that Smackdown is not coming out so well in this draft in appearance. But look at it from this perspective.
Consider that wrestlers are on three levels A, B and C. From my perspective, Raw is made up of a few A's and a whole lotta B's. Smackdown on the other hand, has one or two A's, the main eventer's were/are B's, and a lot of C's. In essence, Raw and Smackdown are exchanging B-level superstars. My examples are John Cena and Chris Benoit, the first two picks.
John Cena was THE MAN on Smackdown. Then gets drafted to RAW. Suddenly, John Cena is not the man. No matter what is said, the WWE title from Smackdown is nothing compared to RAW's World Heavyweight Championship in terms of prestige.

From an analytical point of view, Batista's trade to Smackdown would generate new audiences. More Raw audiences would switch to watching Smackdown on Thursdays.

On Smackdown, they mentioned that trades were still possible so that the WWE could move lower talent without messing with the whole trade thing. Only one trade was posted, but it involved 11 superstars, here's the deal:
Raw gets:
Mark Jindrak Rene Dupree Danny Basham Kenzo Suzuki ( w/ Hiroko) Chavo Guerrero
SmackDown Gets: William Regal Candice Michelle Sylvain Grenier Simon Dean Steven Richards

my last word on the draft lottary: sad. i mean it only showed what the wwe thinks about there secondary championships, on smackdown during the intire time they had no wwe champion what happened when i came to titles? nothing! i dont think MNM even had to defend there titles, oj got hooked with some random title defence against hardcore holly and 2 cruiserweight championship matches were ruined by "mexicool". now thats sad, cuz if u think about it the same thing would of happened to raw if batista was drafted first, hence proving the wwe has no respect for any other titles then the world heavyweight championship and the wwe championship. sad.

I know the topic is about Carlito now but going off the title thing. I didn't watch wrestling for awhile and missed out on alot. How did the World Heavyweight Championship become more prestigious than the WWE Championship if the WWE Championship has been around way longer? You would thing the older championship thats been held by some of the biggest names in wrestling would be the goal to shoot for.
