She blinks away her tears and stares at the box in his arms. "My boooox..." she moans running to his side, inspecting it for damage. It is obvious he's not going to learn anything from her until she has satisfied herself that it is ok.

*Goes over to both of them, placing a hand on their heads and drawing out their memories...he relays the visions to Lyssan as well...then looks angrily at both of them*
Very well then. I need to have a word with Lyssan, but I will be back in here momentarily to deal with you two...and if I hear one peep out of either of you, both of you are going straight over my knee...yes, Luciel...you too.
*Steps outside, ignoring Luciel's outraged look and paling scales, and motioning for Lyssan to follow as he shuts the door*
Ly. I know you're against it, with all your heart...but I cannot help but be of the opinion that Luciel deserves a good one at this point. I won't force the issue, but I'm just throwing that out there...you saw the memories...both of them.

Lyssan twists her mouth into a grimace. "I know... I know... I can't believe he did that... One minutes he's talking to me about his woman... all worried like... and the next he's bullying a kid... it makes no sense... no sense at all. Did ye get any indication why he did it... all I saw was a visual."

Oh yes...I felt everything he did...right down to Luna's bites and scratches...he was perturbed with you because you wouldn't answer his questions...and so decided to work off some frustration with a fight...and he decided to pick on Luna because he figured she'd be easy to goad into a fight...same reason he threatened to break her box...and faked breaking it by breaking a splinter.
This also brings me to my next point. Normally, I'd gladly take him in hand...and I will with Luna. But Lyssan, I am still feeling the remnants of that attachment...Luciel is linked to me like Hopian is...but unlike Hopian, the sharing of sensation only occurs when we are in touching proximity...it's not flesh to flesh, because I'm wearing gloves. That's why I brought this up, Ly. I think he really deserves one, and unless I want to receive the one I give, I can't be the one to deliver it. I know you're against it, but I'd like to ask you to take care of him. Will you?

Lyssan sighs and shakes her head. "I cannot condone what he did, but I... I can't do this, Kerobian... I... I agree he needs serious punishment... but I'm not sure if spanking is even strong enough... have someone else do it... call Paladine in or something. And don't ye dare go punishing Luna... he goaded her and ye know it. Ye've done wonders with her, but under all that she's still a black... a good portion of her response was instinctive." She hugs herself, crying quietly as she stands there in the hallway. "I... I can't believe he did this... what is wrong with him?"

I would never punish her with a spanking for this. However, she did fight, so I think a stern talking to is in order...nothing more.
As for Luciel, I will ask only one question? Why can you not do it? Is it a physical or moral inability, like Tam's? Is it simply your hatred of it drives you from performing it at all, like me and bullying? Or is it simply a non-desire to do it?
As for being strong enough, I do not know what else to do. Perhaps we should discuss this elsewhere...in the presence of my father.

Lyssan looks up at him and sighs. "Call me weak if you want, but I cannot raise my hand to any child or young one, and this goes doubly so for one I've helped raise. It is wrong, Kerobian... just plain wrong. Yes he did something wicked... some may even say evil, though I pray this isn't so. But I have always felt that one learns from ones behavior.... be it bad or good... reward the good and punish the bad... but to do bad in punishing the bad is immoral to me. Trust me... I'm not above doing wicked things which are necessary... I once killed a child to save a child and.... and my dreams will be forever haunted... but no... I refuse to harm another unless forced to.'
She looks at her feet and sighs. "Summon Paladine. He has had the bulk of his raising. Let him handle the bulk of his punishment. I will abide by whatever the god wishes. If he believes he needs physical punishment, then I shall comply but don't force this on me, Kerobian... I beg of you. But before ye do that, treat his bites. Luna wasn't holding back and I smelled acid in that room." Turning about, she reenters the cabin and going to Luna, picks her up, along with her box.
"Come, little one... we need to talk..." she murmurs without so much as looking at Luciel.
**and so the shunning begins... a punishment far more devastating than spanking, believe you me... he's going to have to prove himself to her now to get any attention**

Lyssan turns a cool eye to him and frowns. "I'm not the one ye should be apologizing to." she says with a touch of ice in her voice. Then she sees the cuts on his cheek and sighs. "Ye need to have that look at, Luciel... yer bleeding." she adds in a much warmer but sadder tone of voice.
