Turn 6 Event Log - joe-dude667 edges his way forward. - iDragow attempts to solve the villager's dispute, but like Seph Baelzara before him he is completely unsuccessful and forced to flee before they turn him into something more edible. Challenge: [13] The Villager Dispute - NayrVentess breaks out ahead of [EC2] Carthinator! - [EC2] Carthinator closes the distance, leaving him and NayrVentess tied. - A challenge has been revealed by Vorastrix! [16] Easy Challenge: Frozen Waterfall (Str, Dex) As Vorastrix continues across the tundra, he finds that it.. ends, rather abruptly, in a decline over 100' long. He's also able to spot a waterfall coming out of the glacier wall from an underground river, spilling into a basin below which runs off further up the path. There aren't really many ways to climb down, but with some proper footing and balance (plus his trusty silk rope) - Vorastrix is able to climb down without incident. [ A dexterity check of 11 passes this challenge. ] - Insanity Logic is able to pass a challenge by showing some people the error of their ways... with the business end of his moringstar. Challenge: [13] The Villager Dispute - A challenge has been revealed by Insanity Logic! [12] The Snowy Incline (Con, Int) As Insanity Logic comes to what is presumbed to be the end of the valley... he finds it ends in a high, steep snowy incline. Not having the stamina to simply tredge right up it, he devises a clever plan involving two 10-feet poles, some soap, and a needle and thread and manages to climb up to the top. [ An intelligence check of 18 passes the challenge! ] - Dragon HighLord Flambe struggles along, like a one-legged goblin after skipping a challenge. - Rock_DS runs south along a potential second challenge. - Seph Baelzara slips by one challenge, then forces his way right up the next to take the lead! Challenge: [12] The Snowy Incline - Rain Yupa tears up the incline after Seph Baelzara, passing him and retaking first with a pretty good lead. Challenge: [12] The Snowy Incline

Race to the North - Turn 7Although Turn 7 should have been yesterday, as I was unable to get on I simply allowed Turn 6 to continue for that day as well and now this is turn 7 which will run until midnight on the 14th. I think I will continue to do this for the forseeable future of the contest simply because a lot of people don't do their turns when I don't post, and this should prevent anyone from missing out due to my failure.
@NayrVentess: No problem. Its' more detrimental to you than me. ;p @Rock_DS: I moved you 3W, 2SW, 2W because you couldn't go any further W after 3 spaces.

- A challenge has been revealed by [EC2] Carthinator [14] Easy Challenge: Ancient Puzzle (Int) While exploring the depths of the mountain, Carthinator comes across what can only be described as the most elaborate door locking system he has ever seen. After a few moments, he realizes that it is an ancient puzzle which was used to prevent unwanted guests from delving too deeply into the city. As it was too far to go back, Carth immediately went to solving the puzzle - something he was able to do quite easily, as despite the elaborateness of it - the puzzle itself was quite simple. The moment after he entered the next hall, the door slammed shut and he could hear it reset. [ An intelligence check of 23 overcomes the challenge! ]

@NayrVentess: When you fail a challenge, you don't get to re-roll. You get pushed back squares equal to what you have remaining. You had 6 remaining, so ultimately, you wind up 1 square behind where you were.
- Seph Baelzara moves into second place, for now! - joe-dude667 slips along the southern path. - NayrVentess, after thinking about it for a bit, is able to understand the puzzle. Challenge: [14] Ancient Puzzle. - Insanity Logic pushes into third place.
