enter_the_darkness Anneechin23 i grinned ruthlessly at my charge, "Now wouldn't you like to know," knowing full well she was sick of my bullshit, I went to my belongings and picked out a cleaner robe. I made my way to the river for a quick bath before continuing on. I made sure our stores we enough to last us a week, as it may be a complicated process to get into the capital to see the Council. Tari stared at her, a glint of knowledge in her eye. "Right." Tari was sitting in a tree when Kethsar came back. 'Things are starting to get interesting...' she thought to herself, with a small grin on her face. Little did her temporary care-taker know, Tari had an insane amount of magical abilities, even though they were limited to the bow and arrow, it was still fairly powerful magic. How Kethsar didn't notice it before was still a mystery to Tari, but hey, who cared, right? Kethsar glared at Tari, suddenly moody and steped away to her horse. After mounting the horse she looked expectanly at the other two... "Well Shall we?" her tone was sharp and damanding. The horse, feeling her anxiety stamped his foot impatiently.

She looked at her charge with disdain, "'cause I'm sick of sitting on my a**, waiting for the days to change..."

Once the horses were under control, Kethsar cast a glamour over the troup and hoped no eleven mages would be at the checkpoints. She doubted it, for the main fact that Elves hated to work with humans.
Disguising them as a Merchant Caravan, they arrived at the first group of patrols.
"Miss... err, Your Name is?" The man asked.
"Cunningham, sir." Kethsar spoke, altering her voice to a slightly higher pitch.
"I'll need to check your belongings.... Can you have your group get off your horses."
"Sure Thing..." Kethsar spoke almost flirtingly.

She side stepped him as he went through her belongings. She stood beside Kethsar disgruntled, "why are they searching us?" she asked watching the man to make sure he didn't take anything.

"Excuse me, I must be mistaken then." Kethsar blushed. She then turned her head to Tari, "they're looking for anything that would tell them We have magic with us, with the recent overthrown goverment, everyones on Guard."

She growled softly, her eyes in such a deadly glare that they were mearly slits.

Kethsar whispered harshly at Tari, "It's okay... my magic is much stronger than theirs... Kinda funny how they're using these pawns at the borders... I wonder what it's like in the Capital?"

As she was riding by, Tari gave them a side glance that read something along the lines of, 'you're lucky you little bastards.'

Kethsar grinned at the young man once again, firmly allowing the man to think her a weak woman with a big sword, although it was far from the truth. Kethsar wait until they were out of sight to remove her staff from under her robes. She sighed with relief and rubbed between her shoulders. "It feels much better now... Although I should keep this there.. it's probably the only thing that couldn't be hidden from those bafoons."

They were within a mile or two of the Capital when the tips of the tall building could be seen, They're disguises in check and Kethsar staff carfully hidden, they made their way past the next patrol. They did not stop to check the ladies. Kethsar's act allowing them to believe that they were indeed helpless.
