Tam gently forces a crystal between his lips and prays he's done it right. Kero is clenching his jaw, making it hard to get it in.

*He is...the energy is released when the crystal cracks in his teeth...and color almost immediately returns...apparently Kero has stuffed these crystals to the gills over the years*

Three crystals later and the ball is finally shining brightly and beneath it Keva is beginning to stir. Not truly conscious, but more with them than he has been for some time now.

*Kero finally pulls away, throwing a cocoon around the whole room now...one impenetrable to certain prying serpents...and pulls Tam out before the fibers harden*

Tam smiles and reaching into his shirt pulls forth a beautiful radian crystal, that glows with all the colors of the rainbow. "Ye mean this one.... I... a... ummm... polished it up a bit fer ye." he sends with a tiny frown of pain.

*Kero smiles, accepting the gift with all his...well, you get the picture...slowly, the sphere sinks into his chest...and he gasps*

Tam smiles and kisses his cheek. "It is the best I could offer for the care you have given.." he sends resting his head on Kero's shoulder. He shudders slightly and pushes away. "Must go.... need rest..."he whispers and staggers out the door.

Tam nods and curls up o his side, his face and arms already sprouting long white fur, even as his eyes drift shut. "Go in peace, dulcha....." comes a groggy sending from the bed, but when Kero turns to look Tam is already fast asleep.
Bez walks in with a diapered cub in his hands. "Ari's sound asleep, so I thought I'd put her with Ai. To keep him company. That way Mara and I can go romp a bit." He tucks her up against the sleeping white lion and shifts into his panther form, cocking his head to one side. "Ye help the boy... the one Ai was so concerned about?"
