Mmmm... the early 'I love you'. Very awkward indeed.
If it was me, I would be straight up with him yo. Tell him that you really do like him a lot (if that is the case) but you arnt sure if you can classify it as 'love' yet.
But maybe thats one of the reasons I havent found someone new yet. T.T

I ended up on a three-way convo with him and our common friend. He said, 'Love you.' I said, 'Love you too...as a friend.' He seemed okay with it. I really am worried about him, though. Later, my friend teases him a lot, and both of us laughed about it and him being oversensitive. He, however, slipped off of the phone and wouldn't pick up afterward. I texted him, and he's really upset. At her, and maybe more...not me cuz he said. I tried to ask why, and he was like 'I was just hoping....Nothing smile ' I gave up and wished him a good night. He's about to break my heart. What do I do?!

Mmmmm. Asking the wrong person doll. I have just as little, if not less experience as you.
Sounds to me though that he does want a relationship. I mean, if he said he loved you... then kind of sulked when you didnt return the feelings to the fullest that he feels them... then he does have something there.
Course, I also dont think its right trying to force yourself to be at the level that he is either.
