Emnast is hovering over the gryphon worriedly as Ari tries to still her thrashing. But the girl is far too small to do much and Em seems flummoxed as to what to do. Seems Kero's attack has done some damage after all, more than just her hearing. It's just taken her longer to succumb to it.

Kero shudders, and calls for Rhea to come and take them all into his Void, which she does, gently calming Ai as best as she can. The damage was there, but it wasn't lethal. She would live, and evetually recover. But Kero needed them off the island. Rhea knew what he was going to do.

Bez is too large to fit into the cavern alongside Ai in his present form, so he warps back to the shape his children are very familiar with and runs within.
Taking Ai's great head in his arms he struggles to link with his mate, finally getting through to him that he needs to return to his humanoid form and that they were moving to the void.
"Are... are we using the wardrobe?" asks Ai when she hears he say so outloud to Emnast.
The dragon nods grimly and follows Bezernia's example. Following Rhea, who leads the way to the girls' room he ushers the twins before him and then helps Bez carry Ai, who has indeed morphed into a different shape, but oddly enough, it was anything but human.

Rhea nods, gently leading them into Kero's office. Suddenly, behind them, the passage collapses. Completely. As if the island never existed. Bez feels his shields over the place wink out of existence.

"What the..." cries Bez carefully dropping his end of Ai, which is fortunately the back end. He starts to open the wardrobe door, but Rhea gently stops him.
"Wait... Kero will explain everything when he gets back. You should take Tam to a bedroom and get him comfortable. Does he always look like that these days, half cat, half man?"

Emnast shakes his head as he carries Tam back towards one of the many bedrooms in the Void, designed to heal those within it.
"No. Rhea, Tam got on the receiving end of one of Kero's screams. It warped him pretty bad upstairs."
"I'm not surprised." She answers. "But he'll explain everything when he gets back. My guess is he just devoured that entire world, from what I've gleaned from him.

Bez sits on the floor with a stunned thump.
Mara climbs into his lap, looking worried and confused. "Daddy? Daddy, are you alright?" she begs worried.
"Can... can he really do that?" whispers Ari going white as a sheet.

Kero appears, seeming to hold a clump of matter in his hands, while floating around him are glowing balls of light and inky balls of blackness.
Rhea...I thought I asked you to go and get Lyssan? How am I supposed to do anything like I want to without Twilight's help?

Bez absently pats Mara on the head while staring up at Kero. "What have you done?" he whispers in a ravaged empty voice.

Kero sighs, looking at Bez with pained eyes.
"I destroyed the demons who attacked your island. I devoured the world whole. Before I did so, I plucked everyone off of it, and I am holding them safe in these balls around me. This ball in my hands is your world. With Lyssan's help, it will be remade.

Kero points to the balls of light and darkness hovering around him.
"These are all the people from that world, held in stasis by my powers. Once the world is recreated, with Lyssan's help, I will place them back on the world's surface, exactly as they were. It will be like all light had gone out for ten minutes. The demons were destroyed, because I didn't pluck them out of the world before I devoured it. It was the only way to stop that front without overmuch damage.

"But neither Ly or you can create things that replicate themselves. You are going to put those peopl on a world where all their food sources die off over time" he counters angrily.

Kero nods.
"I thought of that. I cannot create such things, but I can transfer them. There are great forests out there with the same plants as found on the world. I can transfer them into here. Plus, most of the plants grown by the people are found in my garden. As for the animals, I'll pull a Noah's ark. There's a shard about to collapse elsewhere. I'll snag it's animals and bring them here. That should cover things."

Bez shudders. "I hope it works, that's a lot of work... and a lot of what ifs... I mean that literally. So what made you go that far? And what's to keep them from returning?" he asks but Kero can tell from the tone of his voice that even though he's trying hard to give him the benefit of the doubt, he really isn't too sure about what Kero is doing.
