they spend the better part of a hour swimming, with tam swimming circles around kero... teasing him unmercifully... slipping through his grasp so quickly ye'd think he was oiled....

*Finally, Kero decides to use an old trick...he dives underneath...then simply floats to the surface...face down...holding very still*

but tam has seen this trick before and he holds back... kero has had no trouble up to then so he's sure he's faking it....

Note: A D. Miner can hold their breath for ten minutes, if they have to...helps conserve oxygen in the pressure underground...

tam still thinnks he's faking it, but just to make sure he's not in trouble he launches himself into the air and dive bombs kero's back...... oooffffff!

careful where ye stick that thing kid... laughs tam stretching and getting dressed... someone might decide to snip it off.... he picks up his pole and wades out a bit away from the swim hole towards the base of the falls.... to day he is using segments cut from a rather large worm... a really large worm...

*Kero digs a few worms of his own...and when he catches a small fish...decides to pull a fast prank...he slips silently behind Tan...and drops the fish down the back of his shirt...scurrying off back to his rod in the blink of an eye*

at first tam doesn't feel it, then he begins to squirm about trying to fetch the small intruder out and winds up falling on his butt.... which has the unique opportunity of letting the fish swim away... but he isn't very happy... but rather than confront kero, he merely moved to a different spot in the river and continues to fish...

*Kero whistles an innocent tune...catching a horde of bigger fish...Tam finds the prank repeated once more...but Kero is hampered by his stringer...can't get away in time...*

tam tries to run after him, but running in waist deep water is not only comical but dangerous... all of a sudden he disappears... seconds later his hat floats to the surface... but no tam.....

oh yeah... he most certainly has.... as tam tackles him from under the water and tickles him thoroughly... gotcha... laughs tam coming up for air... i had ye fooled didn't i?
