I don't believe I have introduced myself here (even though I've been a member since this place started...though, admittently I've made like, one post...)

Name: what? Wanna know my social security number too? How about my line bage number, huh?

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Location: Travis AFB California

Minibio: So you want to know about undie, eh? Well, since I like you...
I'm a somewhat clutsy person that somehow managed to become a member of the most powerful Airforce in the world (and you better believe it, we're only getting better). Yeah, I'm a bit of a recruiters little helper, so sue me. I was born on Little Rock Air Force Base (or close to it) in 1987. After crying for 2 months, I moved with my family to another Air Force Base in Frankfurt Germany. Three years later I promtly moved again, this time to a base near Panama City, Panama. I think I managed to finish kindergarden there before I finally went back stateside, to a plase called "Florida" (at the time, I had no clue about geograghy, and didn't actually know what or where "Florida" was...don't ask me, I've never been the sharpest tool in the bunch). Moving around a little, we finally landed a home in Rocklege Florida, near Cape Canaveral (oooh, shuttles, pretty). For a time going to a christian school, I was taught the wonderfulness of uniforms and pledges and praying the rosary...which at one time I'm sure I actually knew how to do. Three more years down the road I was on my way once again, this time one state up to good ol' Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. Enrolling first in some school (think it was "East Side Elementry") and then getting myself into Hahira Middle School, I learned how to love books, winning myself the title of the 7th grade #1 Accelerated Reader in the school. Would I do the same in 8th grade? Probably, had I not moved again. Where to? Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa Japan, of course. If anyone askes "hey Undie, where are you from?" This is generally my answer. Spending five years there, finishing up both middle school and high school here, and falling deeply in love with much of the ancient culture (along with Anime), and having lived a longer portion of my life in Japan then any other single place, I feel justified in calling it my home. But its was not to be my final resting place. 2005 I was to move again, to Detroit Michigan, and a month later, back down to good ole Rocklege Florida. Not to stay there long, in December of 2005 I made probably one of the biggest choices in my life (okay, it was made in August, but thats not the point), and left my family to move down to Lackland Air Force Base Texas. I didn't particularly enjoy it too much there, with all the yelling. But soon I got used to all the "GET ON YOUR FACE" and "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY OFFICE." that I think I would have began to enjoy the place had I not had to move again. *sigh* you will shurely be missed, Lackland. Where to now? Not an overly big move, but then again, some would consider one side of Texas to the other a large move (not me, naturally, but some). It took me a lil to get used to people not spitting in my face for not lacing my boots in the right order at Sheppard Air Force Base, but alas I was able cope and adjust. It wasn't a long one, a month and a half later I was to move again...it seemed this time Dover Air Force Base was the place to be. Even more relaxed then Sheppard (but a little less kept), Dover seemed to bring out the worst in me. Oh well. Shall we move, one more time? Sure says I! Travis Air Force Base, California here we go! It seems that I'm going to be here for a while, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it, much like I have a nack for enjoying everywhere I go (some of the nicknames for such places I've enjoyed are "The Rock, Alcatravis, and Hell". *shrug* I don't know why people complain so much.

I'd have a rathe large consciousness...which in itself is complex. Example, my conscious tells me that Homosexuality is wrong. It also tells me that I have no right to interfere in the sexual prefrences of others. I have a tendency to get carried away trying to explain myself, and very regularly end up explaining my stance in a very abstract way, which has a tendency of confusing people who are thinking in a less abstract manner. Need to work on that.

As far as what I like and dislike goes, I guess I'm a bit of an oddball...I don't really meet too many people who have as romantic a side of them and on the other side is bloodthursty. The two topics that interest me most is love and death, though I don't talk about the latter topic. I enjoy a good love story, and would choose one over an action or horror movie anyday. I'm also a huge fan of Japanese anime (rubbed off onto me in my time in Japan)...so yes, I adore the Ah! Megami Sama (Ah! My Goddess/Oh! My Goddess) manga/series (I have almost all the manga, the entire OVA, the movie, the eniter "Mini Goddesses" series, the entire first TV series, and have d/led as many of the "Ah! My Goddess: Sorezore no Tsubasa" tv series as have come out). I'm scaring myself...

Anywho, another series that I thuroughly enjoyed was the "Full Metal Panic" series, "Full Metal Panic: FUMOFFU" and "Full Metal Panic: Second Raid". Also (though I find it goes against my morals) I also enjoyed "Chobits". However, above all of these, my second favorite series is the "Record of Lodoss" ova and tv series. As a side effect of all this, I really enjoy AMV's (Anime Music Videos).

On a final note, if any of you are interested in Joining the US military, I would be willing and happy to give you whatever hints, help, advice I may be able to provide you with. Though my experience is limited with the airforce (only 19 years), I have been several places around the world, seen the services in action, and am now actively working to see the service complete its missions. Having been through Basic Training and Tech School, and having had to deal with Recruiters, MTI's, MTL's, and the various other things, I may be able to help you on your way to a successful career.

Why am I like I am in terms of politics?
I tend to be the way I am because...well, because I am. Part of its the way I was raised. I'm not as conservitive as my dad (He's my hero, but he can be a bit of a neoconservative...course, he has his reasons. He's very strong in his beliefs, and has a lot more experience then I do in seeing them acted upon, so maybe its me thats wrong), but I can't say he's the reason for most of my political reasoning (I really didn't know that much about his political side untill I began asking). I guess a mix of family history and past experiences have all had an influence in my outlook in politics...but I guess that goes for almost everyone. Oh well.

Most pressing issue in politics today?
As I am currently sitting on a military base with the prospect of going absolutely no where unless something big happens, pretty much anything to do with Iran, North Korea, and China are on the top of my lists of attention catchers.

a further note: Though I am obviously very interested in politics, I'm rather politically worn out, and will probably NOT be debating in the ED subforum in this guild. If you wish to see me argue or want to know my views on some issues I haven't already made clear, you can find me occasionally posting in ED-Politics, or in one of the guilds I am a member of (such as the Liberal Guild for Intelligent Political Discussion or the Conservative Gaian's Guild). You still wont see me post too much (as I wore myself out earlier last year) but on occassion I will come out and give my two cents. Which is about that, two cents.

Thats all I can think of, so I guess I'll end by saying

"Have a wonderful Air Force day!" cheese_whine
