Twins are dangerous, tricky things, and when a second thunder rings too late

[Whisperblade turned to face Moonblaze as he heard her frustrated hiss and called him back. Not wanting to become a burden he did as she said and sat still as she cleaned his injuries, clenching his teeth as he did. Each and every touch heart, no matter how light. He bowed his head in gratitude. He had grown a certain fondness of the medicine cat, she seemed to treat without discrimination of clan, and this was not the first time she had to patch up his leg either.]
"Thank you Moonblaze. I truly appreciate how much you help me, now and from the first time we met. You are truly a wonderful cat. You are right, Starclan will watch over them..."
[Closing his eyes he began to meditate to bring down his fast beating heart and put himself into a state of tranquility, like he usually was in. The sound of the fighting in the distance began to fade as he focus his energy on the stars, but even they seemed restless tonight. ]

xJuneAngelx [[Hai guys c: I'm back! Agh, sorry I forgot to mention I was leaving till the last second, I came back and thought 'Geez, they probably think I don't even care' ;P But, I'm back now! So, one question before I post again. Is Comet dying right now? If so, I shall take her over and write her death :c] Yupyup, Splinter just tripped her and Gorge just latched onto her throat for the final blow. Ravage's too swamped by Clan cats to come and save her. It makes me wanna cry! D':

Freezeshadow [Freezeshadow could feel himself being shook off like a leaf on a tree just like that.[ That lion... [Freezeshadow fell heavily on his shoulder, he gritted his teeth, hearing a pop coming from it. He had dislocated his shoulder when he fell. But he didn't let that stop him, he showed no signs that he felt it. The small figure of his sister alerted Freezeshadow's senses.] She did not listen to me, she is fighting too... [The gray warrior knew he had to stop treating Griffonsea like an apprentice, she was a warrior. Her name even proved it. But the over protective side of him did not falter, to him she was still his little sister. The gray tom rushed up to fight Ravage once again, his emerald gaze cold. But he stopped, seeing an awkward sight. It seemed as if an invisible warrior was attacking the great lion, and rather with ease. Seeing how easily Ravage fell.] Is is possibly, Starclan... [Freezeshadow wasn't sure, but he just hoped they were winning. This battle had to end soon, he missed those fragile days of peace. Back to when everything was how it should be...back to when Moss-star was still alive. He decided to go to his sister, seeing the orange feline figure of Dragonfire there as well. But he was sadly making slow progress through the mob of cats.]

[Eaglesoar winced as he felt himself being flung into the air as Ravage swiped at him, landing heavily on the ground with an "oof", momentarily stunned. He got up and was about to leap back at Ravage...when the golden lion suddenly started growling and swiping at something non-existent. The sound of screeching behind him made him turn around, only to see the cheetah fall and gashes appearing on her flank. Wow, so there were invisible foes now? First lions, then cheetahs, now invisible enemies, what next? Might as well finish the cheetah off now that she was weakened. The massive tom yowled as he bounded over towards the cheetah, shouldering other cats out of his way like a tank, and leapt high in the air towards her face. He could see Foxfur and Lightningstrike, both equally large and muscular toms. "Hello, Mr Deputy." He said with a snarl as he sank his claws into Comet's face to get a better grip, before sinking his teeth into Comet's eye in hopes of blinding her. He didn't notice the gashes appearing on her neck, and he sank his fangs down deeper in hopes of rupturing her eye permanently.] ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂x x x Layout Ⓒ iZann

[Lustrepaw's sapphire eyes widened as Stormclan arrived at the gathering. Yowls and screeches pierced the air, cats were falling everywhere, and around him he could already see mangled bodies of several cats killed in action. The stench of blood and the atmosphere was almost overwhelming for the young tom. His eyes remained wide and he nodded when Silverstar said that apprentices would help the injured off the battlefield, still with a shocked expression on his face. It was when all the Stormclan cats ran off did he regain his composure. He swiftly darted around, his little and lithe form making it easier to manoeuvre between cats, his eyes gazing around for any injured cats. It seemed that most of the injured were already being helped off the battlefield, and those who were not injured or fighting were already dead. It was a sickening sight.]
[A tiny mould of brown fur (Galestar) nearby caught his attention. At first he thought it was his imagination, but when the mould of fur moved, he realised that it was a cat trapped in a ditch - with a huge cheetah lying on top. Whoever was under the cheetah could be injured - or even worse, crushed and killed! Not thinking twice, Lustrepaw sprinted towards the fallen cat, hissing as he nimbly leapt to one side to avoid a massive paw from crushing his spine. Thanks to his still young and smallish stature, it was easier for him to avoid the cheetah's flailing blows. Just then, Comet roared and fell, blood gushing from her sides. Seizing this opening, Lustrepaw darted towards Galestar, sinking his teeth into the first part of the Breezeclan leader he could reach - which happened to be his ear, unfortunately for the Siamese tom.]
["C'mon!" He meowed, tugging first at Galestar's ear harshly (and probably painfully) to get his attention, before leaning down into the ditch and grabbing the leader's scruff in his jaws. "Eef go'a ge' ou!" (We've gotta get out) He meowed through a mouthful of fur, tugging as hard as he could at Galestar's scruff. Since Comet had fallen, he probably a few seconds to climb out of the ditch before the cheetah crushed him again. Falconpaw
Falconpaw recoiled as far back from the lion as he could. The air felt thick and heavy to him. Death and blood, fear and pain. It was all that could be sensed.]
[The ebony black tom felt a wave of fear as Ravage threw more warriors away, but suddenly he stumbled and roared. The sound split the very air, ripping at Falconpaw's ears. He couldn't see what was going on, but whatever it was, it must be on their side.]
[His eyes grew wide with terror at the blows, nearly missing him. He had recoiled under a warrior and gotten himself trapped when the warrior was killed. A sudden thought came to him. Silvertail. His mother.]
[Falconpaw had no idea where the silver furred she-cat was. Fear lodged in his throat as he slid out from under the warrior. He could barely see, why?]
[That was when he looked down, eyes growing wide at the sight of his wound. It had reopened and not it gushed blood. The red liquid matted his fur and the sickening sent washed over him. The only thing he could do was return to Rabbitpaw and the other apprentices.]
[He had to make sure that Silentpaw was okay.]
[Falconpaw began shoving his way through the mass of cats, trying to escape back to safety. He knew he would die if the wound was treated, and soon.]
[His eyes glazed slightly as the others came into view. His paws didn't want to bare his weight any longer and gave out a few tail lengths from the bushes. His sides heaved and his flank was filled with unspeakable pain.]

Last night I had a revelation

I've got the power to bring you down COMET "You know something, you see it coming,
You know I will stop at nothing" _____________________________________________________________________________________________ [Foxfur nodded to Eaglesoar as the tom appeared. Together, the three of them posed the most threat size-wise. Snarling, he leapt forward once again, amber eyes narrowing slightly in fear as fatal injuries appeared on Comet out of nowhere. But he pushed that fear away and ducked, wrapping his strong jaws around her leg and hauling]
[Comet narrowed her eyes at Gorge and Splinter, throwing them a haughty look. They were dead, what damage could they possibly do to her? When the two brothers attacked, Comet felt a new emotion. Fear. Fear and pain. She tried to yowl, but it wouldn't work. What was going on. Eyes glancing around wildly, it finally hit her. They were ripping her neck out and not letting go.
If they didn't let go, she couldn't heal.
And if she couldn't heal..
Comet tried to gasp, but once again, her efforts failed her. Crimson blood spilled onto the ground, becoming large pools as her struggles continued.
Stop. Oh please stop..
The Slayer could feel her life starting to ebb away. Where was Ravage? Where was her love when she needed him most?
Ravage! Ravage, where are you? Comet cried silently.
Her golden eyes flashed with worry as the she-leopard continued to struggle. She had to get away from these two. Paws flailing limply, Comet tried to slash at her enemies, but they just went right through them, as if she was slashing through water.
Finally, the throng of cats, all yowling and snarling, parted in a way so that she could spot Ravage, her other half, the only cat she had ever loved, being swarmed by Clan cats. He seemed to be desperately fighting them off, but they just kept coming. He was trying to come for her. Comet tried to call out to him, but all that could be heard was a gurgle as the blood spilled from her throat.
Stars were beginning to dance in and out of her vision, bright dots blinding her.
What's happening?
Comet found herself growing weak, her paws no longer wanted to obey her, her tail hanging limply on the ground, her once-brillant eyes beginning to close.
Was this the end?
Suddenly, a streak of ginger crossed her vision, a glint of moonlight on claws, and then..
blackness.
What happened? Why couldn't she see? More pain was coming, making Comet's heart clench in fear.
She was blind.
And dying.
A once arrogant, beautiful beast was no reduced to a pitiful, half-dead mess.
Her minutes were numbered, and that thought alone was enough to break any cat.
All of her walls were breaking down, every soul she had ever taken, their voices were sounding in her head. They whispered to her, taunted her, rose her up, then brought her crashing back down.
Comet was now dimly aware of the pain, like a small nagging reminder at the back of her mind. Her blood was almost gone, and soon, it would be her time to go.
Maybe they'd kill Ravage too, and then she could be with him once again. He was what she relied on, and Comet knew she would be utterly lost and alone without him. He was the air that she breathed and the sun in her dark sky. They should die together.
Why wasn't he dying too?
As she faded from consiousness, one last thought drifted through her mind.
Where will I go?
Then her mind went blank and her golden eyes glazed over. To the outside world, she looked as though she had died in battle, beautiful pelt stained with her own blood, fierce jaw opened in a snarl.
But it was a fitting way for her to die.
All alone]

What in the name of Starclan was this?] [One thing that Skywisker failed to notice, was that while she was staring at the spot that should be bleeding, she was right in swatting range of Ravage's large paw... [Rainpaw paced back and forth as he wondered what in the world he could do. Looking up, he saw an apprentice join them. Willingly?] "I'm Rainpaw" [He said slowly, turning his attention back to the battle.] "Dawnpaw. Stormclan. My sister said to come here" [Ah, so she was listening to her sister. Why? But then Rainpaw caught the look in her eyes. Maybe her sister was the only family she had left. He nodded and started pacing again. Rainpaw stopped and watched Dawnpaw as she raced away from his side.]

Ravage
[Ravage felt his blood turn to ice as the world slowed around him. All he could see was Comet's beautiful fur being tainted by blood, the brothers attacking her like beasts. Ravage roared for her, roared her name, fought the swarms of mongrels, but it wasn't enough. He had fought all the way to her side, but it was too late-she was gone.
He watched her spirit fade away.
Suddenly, he froze, a stone statue standing near the body of his lover. Gorge and Splinter turned to him, eyes glinting and claws flashing. They slowly crept towards him, but he paid them no mind.
He was staring at her body.
So broken and battered, like a beautiful bird crushed by the ignorance of others. She was all he needed to feel alive. So what now? Because she was dead, so was he. He was dead.
Nothing could hurt him more than her death.
Rage swelled in his eyes suddenly. Fire crept across his back, through his chest and up his throat.
He let out a ferocious roar of rage and fury, so powerful it sent Clan cats in front of his face flying backwards as if they were hit by a flying rock. For a split moment, the Clan cats swelled away from him, their instinct to run triggered by the mighty sound.
Gorge and Splinter flinched away, fear flashing in their eyes.
Oh yes. They thought because they were spirits, they were untouchable. But they were wrong.
Ravage continued to roar, his eyes flashing with fury. Power seeped into his veins, his own adrenaline mixing with the mystical effects of the blue moon, which was beginning to fade. Time was of the essence now!
He sprinted towards the spirits, who cried out in fear, trying to turn and run. He tackled Splinter, pinning him to the ground. He squirmed, trying to break free, but Ravage took in a deep breath and roared ferociously.
Something was different about this roar; light seemed to glint out of his open maw. Splinter screamed in horror and immediately faded away, disappearing from thin air-perhaps forced back into the spirit world...
The other brother roared in confusion and pain. Ravage turned and flew at him, paws churning. The other brother almost made it to the lake when Ravage tackled him down, eyes flashing.
One roar, and the brother's spirit vanished, gone. Completely gone.
Ravage rose slowly, turning to face the Clan cats with a furious snarl. They would all pay for what they'd done. Now it was personal!]
Silverstar
[Silverstar leapt back as Ravage let out a ferocious roar. Even she couldn't resist the instinct to run, if just for a split second. The roar reverberated through her bones and shook her to her very core. Her fur shot out in shock and her eyes widened.
She recovered after a few moments, glancing around to see that the other cats had been shocked as well. But Ravage did not roar to scare them-that roar was for the spirits, whom most of the other cats couldn't see.
As Ravage chased them down, the Clan cats followed, still a bit shaken but refusing to give up. But Silverstar lagged behind, watching with narrowed eyes as Ravage pinned one of them down and roared again. The spirit disappeared, perhaps fled in fear back to where it came from.
Thunderflight padded up to her side, blinking at her questioningly, and Silverstar turned to her.]
"The spirits of Splinter and Gorge are here," Silverstar explained softly. Thunderflight's eyes widened and she opened her mouth to speak, but Silverstar continued, "They killed Comet, yes, and now Ravage is...scaring them away, I suppose."
[Thunderflight blinked again, watching Ravage chase down the other brother (who was invisible to her) and scare him off as well. Then Ravage slowly turned back towards the Clan cats, fury radiating from him like a stream.
Silverstar dropped into battle stance, running up to face him with the other cats. Thunderflight followed suit, keeping close to Silverstar.
Ravage suddenly veered off, running back towards Comet's body. He slowed to a stop, staring at it with hollow eyes. The swarm of Clan cats came up from behind him, preparing to attack. His attention was caught, however, by three cats in a ditch. A snarl rose from his throat and he swatted at them, sending most of them flying.
Silverstar gasped as she recognized one of them.]
"Lustrepaw!"
Thunderflight
[I felt something click in the back of my mind as I saw Lustrepaw get flung off to the side. I suddenly streaked in front of the other cats, rushing to his limp form. I grabbed him by the scruff, trying to drag away, but I heard a low growl behind me. Ravage had seen me, and I saw the shadow of his paw raise in the air.
It was too late-I braced for impact, knowing I had no time to run, or to leave Lustrepaw. I'll take the blow for you, Lustrepaw, I thought wildly.
I heard the smack of the paw make contact, but someone else's pained yowl erupt over me. I turned to see Cindermoon gasping for air, claw marks ripped in her flank.
How had she seen us?! She knew-and jumped in the way-
Ravage's paw came down on the injured she-cat. There was a sickening snap, and her face froze. Her blind eyes rolled down to me, staring almost right at me, and then her face fell limp.]
"CINDERMOON!" I yowled in horror. "NO!"
[I grabbed Lustrepaw by the scruff, knowing the she-cat had died for me. Ravage turned to me, but it was too late-the swarm of cats had reached him, and suddenly I was his smallest problem.
I turned to see Dawnpaw near me, and I raised my tail to beckon to her. ]
"Dawnpaw, get him to a medicine cat," I said through gritted teeth. "I have work to do."
[Nodding to her with gratefulness, I turned and fought against Ravage, dodging blows and bites. I stayed next to Silverstar's side, trying to help her dodge and attacking Ravage when he tried to attack her.
But it was almost as if his rage made him more powerful than before. Even with the newly fighting StormClan warriors, the Clan cats wouldn't be enough against him. Cat after cat was killed, and I felt frustration and fear build up. What were we going to do?!]
Galestar
[Galestar coughed as the weight of Comet's body pressed over him. Her leg was sprawled on top of him, and he was pinned down. He tried to squirm out, hissing in frustration.
Suddenly he felt something pulling and pushing at him. He popped out and leapt to his feet, looking around to see two StormClan apprentices at his side.]
"Thank you," he breathed. "I owe you my life!"
[At that moment, a large paw swung out of the air and slammed into them, sending Galestar flying. He landed on his feet easily, recovering quickly to see Ravage standing over them. He tried to lunge, but his foot was caught by a tangle of upturned roots. He watched the scene in horror, trying to break free.
One of the apprentices was down, and Thunderflight was trying to drag him off, but Ravage raised a paw to swipe. At that moment, the StormClan deputy threw herself in front of Thunderflight and was hit. Ravage dispatched her quickly, but Thunderflight managed to drag the apprentice to safety.
Galestar gnawed the roots off quickly, throwing himself into battle with Ravage. This was going to be a long fight! But would the cats win? They needed a miracle-!]
Griffonsea
[Griffonsea snorted at Dragonfire, planting herself beside her.]
"Like heck I'd leave you here!" she stated, eyes glinting stubbornly. "Come on, now, should I take you to Cloudfang or can you recover?"
[She raised her head warily, watching the fight with narrowed eyes. She saw Embergaze's grey pelt streak past, watched him fight against Ravage, and watched the events unfold, but she knew their luck was running out. If only they could stall Ravage enough until the blue moon faded-if it faded!]
(( sorry for controlling Cindermoon but I thought this was an appropriate way for her to go v_v Same for Lustrepaw-he needed to be bait for the bait 8U" asdasf ))

[The former queen was already on the otherside of the island, her eyes watching in horror as Ravage killed cats one by one. She couldn't help but feel relieved that none of those cats attacking were her kits. She eyed over at Sunpaw, who had his rage face on.]"Sunpaw, sweetie, are you okay?"[She asked, wrapping her tail around her son. He hissed slightly and turned to face his mother.]"I'm going back in. They need help." [Before his mother could say anything, Sunpaw jumped into the water and swam to the other side, managing to make it there safely. Rainface could feel her heart racing. Her son was putting his life on the line for his clan. No, she couldn't let that happen. She already lost Fernkit, she wasn't going to let her own son die.]"SUNPAW!"[She said, wanting to follow him. [Sunpaw looked around to find dead bodies scattered, one of them being Comet, and another bunch of cats fighting with Ravage. He wanted to be one of those cats. He wanted to make Redfur proud.]"Watch me, father.. I'll show you who's the tom of this family."[He thought, narrowing his eyes and unsheathing his claws. Before he could attack, Cherrypaw ran up to him.]"Sunpaw, don't. I already saw one of my other friends get injured. I don't want you dying on me."[Sunpaw stared down on his friend, eyes filled with worry for her. Cherrypaw was kind of apart of the family. He couldn't just say no to family.]"I don't know, Cherrypaw."[He said. Most of the time, "I don't know" was always a no, but this was family he was talking to.]"I'f you go, I go." [She whispered, her eyes filled with fear. Sunpaw gazed down on her and grinned.]"Fine, onward my friend."
[I don't know if I should have them attack or not, since they could like, die if they did DX.
I have permission from Harmony to RP as Sunpaw until she either gets out of the hospital, or gets a hold of a laptop.]

[Burrpelt raced after his clan, feeling a bit shocked. What in Starclan's name was going on here? His claws unsheathed and his pelt fluffed out. His green eyes narrowed and his pupils turned to slits. A low growl escaped his throat and he quickly joined in. For too long he felt like he was doing nothing. This was the chance to let out some of the built up emotions. He raced after the beast with the attacking cats, feeling strength. But the roar made him falter. Every muscle in his body screamed at him to run but he stood firmly in place. He had to help protect his clan!] Remember Oaktail, [he thought. It was as if he felt his brother's strength coarse through him. He watched as Ravage charged towards a small group of cats. Burrpelt felt panic rise in him when he saw the cats being flung and watched as the deputy of Stormclan died saving Thunderflight.
After a moment of grief, he threw himself into battle with Ravage, making sure that he kept moving.] For StormClan, for StormClan, [he repeated in his head. This was going to be a difficult fight, and he was sure that most cats knew that. But he would fight and die if neccessary!] Marblepaw .:. Apprentice .:. NightClan
[Marblepaw's eyes widened as things at the Gathering went haywire. This wasn't goo! She had to energy to fight and could probably get crushed in one blow. For once, Marblepaw was upset she could fight. Why did she have to be so useless?! Fluffing her fur in frustration, she decided to search for someone who needed help. Her eyes rested on Falconpaw, who had collapsed not too far away. She rushed over and grabbed his scruff, dragging him the few tail lengths he failed to cover.] "'ry 'ot too 'oove. (Try not to move.)" [she mumbled around his fur. When she reached the other apprentices, she released Falconpaw's scruff and now searched for a medicine cat. She didn't have to be one to know that his wounds needed to be treated. Marblepaw looked uneasily to the others.] "Can someone help me look for a medicine cat?" [she asked, shifting nervously. Ever since her sister died of a wound from the last battle, she hadn't been very good with handling situations like this. And she certainly didn't want to see cats in pain. It wasn't like she wanted to be a medicine cat. It was far too complicated for her, but she wanted to help others.]

It was true fear, Freezeshadow actually felt it! He felt like a scared little mouse surrounded by predators just waiting to taste his blood. His legs refused to carry him, his mind was in a haze.] Should I go on... [That thought clung to the back of his mind. He could smell a Stormclan warrior not far away(Burrpelt). He was like him, paralyzed by the roar. But to his amazement he watched him stand up, continuing on despite his fears. Freezeshadow looked up at the unfamiliar blue moon, it seemed to cast an eerie light over the Clan cats. Would it ever cease. Was Starclan even with them? Doubts were clouding the gray warrior's mind, he didn't know what to do anymore. He decided to join Burrpelt, he would die if he had to. ✎ [I stopped pushing against Galestar and he popped out. I nodded to him] "Welcome" [I meowed to him, I stopped meowing when I felt eyes on me. Looking up, I saw him. I quickly tried to scramble out of the way, thinking that maybe I could escape, but then he swatted. I yowled and gasped when I landed and slid a ways away. I jumped up when I heard Lustrepaw's name called. I padded over to where Thunderflight was motioning for me.] "Yes Thunderflight" [I meowed. I shimmied underneath Lustrepaw and, on shaky legs, attempted to walk to a medicine cat with him on my back. Though, that soon proved to be hard, as my legs gave way. So, I tried something else. Moving from under him, I grabbed him by the scruff and pulled him as carefully as I could to where Rainpaw was.] "Rainpaw? Do you know where the medicine cats are?" [Rainpaw nodded and pointed to Rabbitpaw with his nose. I shook my head, he was too busy. So, I pulled Lustrepaw to Fadingpaw] "Fadingpaw? Can you help Lustrepaw?" [I asked her softly] ✎

[I scrambled away as Ravage roared. It was too powerful to not want to run. I puffed my white fur out and crouched down, waiting. I shook my head and pulled my mind out of it's shock. I stood up and joined the swarm. I gasped as I saw one of the cats that had caught the lions attention. I growled and ran faster. No mangy piece of fox dung was going to hurt my sister and get away with it. I flicked an ear gratefully at Thunderflight as she told Dawnpaw to get Lustrepaw away. That way she would be safe. I nodded and attacked. It was a blind attack though, I was angry because he might have injured my sister. In fact, it was all blind. How could we possibly win this? I raised a paw to scratch, when a small mew caught my attention. So, I veered away and raced to a small apprentice (Marblepaw) I skidded to a halt beside her and pointed to a few] "Fadingpaw and Moonblaze are medicine cat's of Stormclan, over there. A cat is over there by Rainpaw, so I assume he's a medicine cat. And... I'm not sure about Breezeclan or Seaclan. But Fadingpaw, Moonblaze and that tom over there can help you." [I meowed and was about to turn away, but then thought better of it, she might not be able to carry him alone. So, I turned back to her and picked up Falconpaw by the scruff. I then trotted over to Fadingpaw.] "I know you're busy. But you're doing a great job." [I meowed as I set Falconpaw down. I leaned close to her and meowed] "Time to find out if this is really your calling. Good Luck. Moonblaze'll be proud" [I meowed and turned to race back into battle]
