Nothing at all...the young one here was apologizing to me for earlier...though he actually did me a favor...these checkered scars are the perfect accent for a thief turned guard, don't you think?

tam rolls his eyes and agrees then he places a hand on kerobian's head... well, kid... time to head back.. i've a map to a new fishing hole tomorrow... farther along the river nearer to the falls... so we need to get our beauty rest....

tam nods his thanks and leads kero away... beauty sleep me foot says tam once they are out of hearing... kero,,, why didn't ye just open the damn window... now i have to fix it... and i'm a lousy carpenter.....

*Kero frowns...and holds up his paws...Tam thinks he's saying he couldn't use it...when he notices Kero's middle claw extended on the left one...though he is suprised at it's length...up close, the claw is nearly two inches long...and Kero is only about two feet high...*

*Kero shakes his head, showing Tam the claw even closer (Does Tam even realize he's having the bird flipped at him)...and Tam sees how the paw itself has evolved...it's a normal lion's paw...but unlike a normal lion, whose claws only extend about two thirds of the way, Kero's are extending 90% of the way out...and their bases are super thick...*

he's not stupid ye know.... he also is feeling a bit put upon right now... he was worried sick about ye.... and he knows iffin he starts yelling he's going to come off rather bad, so he's keeping his mouth shut....

tam just scratches his ears... and they finish the walk in silence... when they get to the room tam examines the wall... digs out some tools.... and gets to work... it doesn't take long before kero realizes that tam is in over his head... the hole is actually larger than before....

tam brings out some paint from his kit and touches up the surface so it matches the rest... well... he says with a self depreciating laugh... i'm good for something after all...
