Quote: Okay, here's the deal:
My History and Science grades are. . .well, they're not failing but they're "not the best of things" according to my mom.
She likes when I get at least As. Me? I don't really give a damn what i get as long as it's not failing (But I won't take anything lower than a C+!)
So. She wanted me to do a History extra credit, right? Well, my history teacher is on a maternity leave and I have a sub for the rest of the year who doesn't exactly know that my History teacher has given me "special permission" to type up my homework and extra credit.
I told my mom point-blank that I wasn't doing it if I couldn't type it. So I didn't. And she got mad. Totally quoted ninja

Banned from computer isn't very good.... Btw, I never understood those gradings with A-, A+, B ect. We use 1 to 10 with 1 is FAIL and 10 is PASS.

It's more, like. . .banned from Gaia. So I could go on Neopets if I wanted (but I don't. 'Cause Neo sucks now).
Odin, you wouldn't believe how confused I was when I first went to an American school xd

Well. I used to go to a British School. Since I was two years old, actually (From Nursery to my 4th year in a kind of "Elementary" school).
SO! I move to America! Everything is WEIRD! O.O Instead of the numbers 1 - 10 for grading we're given letter grades! And the classes? We had to rotate between classes! (In first half of 5th grade, anyway. Long story).
I didn't even understand the Science XD And I was the youngest. I kept thinking "Gosh, did everyone in this school get held back or something?"

Oh! -been in American school all her life- In elementary, we used a 1-4 system and an O and S system. 1=bad. 2=kinda bad. 3=okay. 4=good.
But, then we started letter grades this year. F=fail. D=below average. C=average. B=above average. A=well above average.

I wonder, sometimes I see + and - at the grade. Question: What is a higher grade: A- or B+ ?

No, not British. I'm Egyptian. Yay for random Egyptian questions! blaugh
Seriously, though. I am Egyptian. But there was a British School in my area. It was called "Maadi British International School."
It was AWESOM! I loved the P.E. there. We got to go swimming during Summer and Spring. But the winter uniform sucked. And it was freezing, dangit! >.<
For the grades? Listen to Syu wink
