"It is appreciated..." Replied Kagae taking the satchel opening it to lay the items out to be placed inside when the tent was finally erected. Then he took a small hammer and a bagful of wooden pegs and begun hammering them into the ground ready for the guide lines.
"How is the sewing going?" Kagae called to the girl sewing.

Tamori Makoto would almost seem panicked as the ball came to him, but using a trick he must have learned from an ise zumi, he did a spin kick that sent the ball back to the Hare! {1 void spent (1 remaining) for +1k1, 28 vs TN 24, TN+9} "S-sorry!" he called out, kicking it with more force than intended.

"W-well enough, noble samurai," Kinuyo responded nervously. SHE thought she was doing a good job {17, 9, 12, 27, 15 as a spread of rolls}, but she was less confident about what she thought this aggressive samurai would think about her job.

Maru would indeed accept the opportunity to break, since she was fresh out of Void. {11 vs TN 20, failure}
However, she was so intently focused on the performance, it did not seem like she reached any clarity during the break.

Kojiro's meditations seemed to dwell more on Maru's form.... Hopefully, if they could not center him, then they could at least guide him in making a way to make the music fit her as well as the theme he wanted. "We will get this done for Doji's sake and for ours! If we're lucky, what we do here will last in the memory of all who see it!"

Oh no. This didn't look good. Denbe was impressed by Makoto's desperate save, but all the same it was a fumble back his direction, and running to catch up with the ball, Denbe wasn't really sure he could catch up and direct it properly.
Diving wildly across the ground, Denbe rolled, catching a glimpse of the blur of the ball streaking toward him out of the corner of his vision, and stuck the ball with a heel as though he meant to lay it low upon the field of battle.
The Hare's legs could do no wrong, however, and the ball instead took off like a bat out of the Shadowlands straight for Naizen.

Kinuyo would cringe at the question, dropping her needle. She began to frantically look at it, while Kagae overlooked her current work.
It was definitely better than what he could have done, but it wasn't professional quality either. PROBABLY not worth murdering her on the spot.

Despite not reaching a clarity of mind, Soshi Maru seemed more relaxed and rested now. Upon their next attempt at practicing the routine they were developing, she was apparently more than prepared.

Shosuro Naizen apparently was less than enthused about going after the ball. He would make a token effort to reach it, but it had gone in too fast, too far, for him to get any valid lock on the ball. {14 vs TN 35, Failure}
