k, long story is long... will shorten it.
Once upon a time, there were four friends. Me, my girlfriend (current ex), our mutual best friend, and her boyfriend.
Our friend and her boyfriend broke up.
My girlfriend and friend had a falling out and stopped talking.
Girlfriend broke up with me.
Girlfriend then hooks up with friends boyfriend.
k, now then.... Just got an invite to the friends wedding today as she found a new guy.
I go to thank her for the invite on FB, and find out that she has been talking to my ex.
That doesnt bother me. What bothers me is that my ex said that she was happier with the friends ex more than she ever was with 'that person'... meaning me.
If thats how she truely felt, then why did she drag it out for 3+ years?!
Funny thing is, out of everythign that happened... i should be the one with the bitter feelings and ill will, not her. Yet I feel none towards them and wish them the best. So it hurts when I saw that.
More so seeing as me and her saw eachother more than these two currently are... as he is at least two states away.

So lemme get this straight. Mutual friend is getting married, and you saw on FB that ex was talking to her about how she enjoyed her relationship with the other guy she dated after you more than you...right?
If this is right, why does it hurt that much? Maybe she enjoyed being with you....just not as much as the guy she really got to know/dated after you. Cuz you're making it sound like there was nothing enjoyable in those 3+ years.
Why should you have the bitter feelings? Do explain.
Pleeease tell me I soaked all of this story correctly. Cuz if not, you need to correct me.

Maybe Im just reading it wrong, but to me it sounds like she enjoys being with him more than she ever did with me.
I have no problem if she is happy with him now, but it just hurts to think that she was never happy with me.
There is slightly more to the story, but I wanted a face value view first.
While me and my ex were going out, and the friend and boyfriend were going out... he was apparently looking for a way to get me out of the picture to date my ex.
Also, my Ex had told me that their parents had told them to dump me to date this guy. (So glad she gets to live the life her parents want for her... against what she use to say rolleyes )
~is a bit bitter~
Which honestly pisses me off. The only thing that he really has on me... is that he is tall and jock. Thats it.

So you think that she thinks that y'all's (lol, Texas) relationship was pretty much like a waste. I understand, and I know that feeling has to suck. But I can't get over the fact that she didn't know anything better until she went out with the other guy. So to me, you shouldn't really be so unhappy about it because you don't know if she's just comparing the two like 'this was good, but this was better'. If that's the case, hey. You were good, but you can't be the best guy to her now that she knows what she prefers. You know? You can't just see it as her completely dissing your relationship like that.
And there's no way that she wasn't happy with you if y'all lasted for over 3 years. She would have found a way to dump you sooner. She wouldn't have dated you at all if she wasn't happy being with you.
