Tohru sighed, taking a bite from his sandwich as he walked back to the living room to continue his reading. As he did, a bullet whizzed past him, an inch from where he was, landing right where his foot would have been. His heard pounded against his chest rather fast and hard as he noted the crater that formed. He looked up at the ceiling where the bullet had gone through. "What the hell?" he said, a little surprised.

"Seems that you are," Nia said, hovering beside him. She looked at the hole in the roof of the house, than back to Shiei. "I hope you didn't hit Sasha's room, baka." She shook her head, and flew down, towards the hole, stopping when she was standing on the roof, and looking down into it. She looked back up to Shiei, waiting for him.

Shiei flew down to Nia, landing opposite her. "I doubt it," he said as he looked into the hole. Beneath it was a boy with blonde hair, looking straight up at them. Shiei blinked then sighed as he jumped down the hole, landing on the bullet. "Can't believe that was a near hit. Wouldda been better if I hit you." He rubbed the back of his neck, looking at the older man. This must be Tohru.

"Excuse me?" Tohru asked, still holding the sandwich and glaring at the boy in front of him. "This is a house. It's not something for you to barge into." He noted the appearance the boy seemed to have; the blood-red wings, the bizarre clothes. . .it was all weird. "What do you want, anyway? And you have five seconds to answer before I blast you into next week," he added angrily, his gun now in his hand, the sandwich abandoned on the ground, wasted.

Shiei gazed at the man's gun, intrigued. Heh. This might be tough. Or it might be fun, he thought. "It's simple. I plan on killing you and taking Sasha."

Tohru fired his gun at the boy, barely missing his head. "I don't think so," Tohru said, thoroughly outraged. Alex had told him to take care of Sasha. And he wasn't about to let a small brat like this come and take her away. "Get out or next time, I'm shooting your head."

"Such violence," Shiei sighed, twirling his own gun. This would definitely be fun for him. He glanced up at the ceiling at Nia, making sure she was still there. He would be thoroughly pissed off if she vanished on him and claimed credit. "I don't feel like leaving. How about we fight instead?" The instant he said that, the hand with his gun glowed a blood red and a pillar of earth came shooting up from the ground below from beneath Tohru. He was a little shocked, though that look quickly twisted into an evil grin as he rushed up to Tohru, shooting his gun with only the intent to cause him great harm. I think I get it; this thing is powered by willpower.

Tohru felt the ground beneath him shift as he was shot into the air suddenly. Quickly, he jumped off the pillar, wondering what on earth was going on as he felt some pierce his skin, letting out a gasp of pain. He landed on the ground, putting one hand over his stomach, the wound there bleeding rather badly. He swore under his breath, something he hardly ever did as he glared at the boy in front of him, not wanting to fight. He aimed his own gun and fired, the bullet letting off a whistle as it flew in the air.

Shiei moved out of the way of the bullet easily. But when he heard the whistle, he put one hand to his head quickly; he hated the sounds of whistles. They had always caused nothing but pain. Feeling angered, he rushed up to Tohru, using his right fist and aiming to punch the man.

Tohru appeared behind Shiei and grabbed the boys arms, locking them so that he couldn't use them. "Now, now. I'm afraid I can't let you destroy this house any longer," he said coldly, no longer kidding around. He had his gun aimed at Shiei's head, not needing both arms to trap the boy. "Surrender?"

"You wish," Shiei said, glaring at the man. He wrenched his right arm from Tohru's grip and elbowed him in the stomach, moving away once he had the chance. Once he was at a good distance, he aimed his gun, shooting a couple times.

Tohru gasped, feeling the air rush out of him. He stumbled, bending over with one arm across where he'd been it, clutching his side. He heard the gun shots and looked in time to see two bullets rushing at him. He moved just in time to avoid a fatal shot, though he still ended up badly wounded as the bullet pierced his skin; one through his right lung, one through his left arm. A look of shock was on his face as he fell to the ground onto his knees, coughing blood up as it splattered on the ground from his wounds as well. He fell forward onto his front, lying on the ground and breathing heavily.

Shiei blinked as he watched the man for a minute before he turned to Nia. "I think I may have overdone it," he said, a little embarrassed as he blew over the top of his gun, cooling it down a little. Deep down, however, he was excited. Thrilled, actually. It was his first experience as a demon and already, he liked it very much. "Come on. We've got a girl to find."

Nia jumped into the hole, feeling guilty for spacing out, like she had. She looked at Tohru, her twin daggers, forming in her hands, as she placed them in separate sheaths. She walked past him, opening a couple of doors, until she found Sasha's room. The girl was still asleep on her bed. She looked at Shiei, before she walked into the room, "Found her."

Shiei followed Nia and spotted Sasha as well. He walked over to the girl and picked her up, holding her in his arms. "I'll let you do whatever with the house. I've had my fun," he grinned but, when he looked at Sasha's sleeping face, he couldn't help but blush ever-so faintly; it was barely visible.
