"Yamanaka. Yo'ichi."She repeated slowly to commit to memory. One of the weird tricks up her sleeve was a harmless remnant of Lahlil. Of the few cabinets in the room, Sadayo pulled a drawer that was swift to slide along its track. Without looking inside, Sadayo dipped her hand into what would be an empty drawer save for a scrawled seal tapped to the bottom. It was official but a cheap cheat to stir a headband from the reserves. A special headband too. The band was creamy white and new."White," she announces the color after turning her head to inspect the results of the simple fuuin. A shiny headband unfolds and dangles from her palm."Sorry. You change the band up later. Or dye it. But dye it with a sense of dignity. It's good for that first impression."Sadayo refolds the headband for an appropriate presentation and knocks the cabinet close with her elbow before she taking to the seat across the cherry pink genin. A smile was often a contagious thing and Yo’ichi was beginning to seem like he was full of them.“I’m sorry?”She asks. Confused, honestly, and centered her sights onto his. Sadayo apparently had failed to notice the shifting vibe in the emotive as more than his pleasant aura. At the very least, Yo’ichi was a fresh change of pace. Delightfully pleasant genins over grumpy ones. “Resi-sting?” Her breathing was beginning to level out like normal and for the time being shoved all stress aside. The sensation she began picking up on was vague but light. Endearing, freeing, and familiar. If she wanted to call herself an intelligence agent then first-hand intelligence was the best way to grasp it. “What do the people fall for, exactly?”She asks calmly, trying to soak in the relief of mild happiness, knowing her question was an infringement on Yo’ichi’s secrets.
Then. Oh then. The tapping at the door sounded just as the vibe was just getting good and she shut her eyes. Tightly. Ordinarily, a rapping tap on the door was a benign gesture but something about the request panged her. She opened her eyes on a thought. Her office in JUEI was like a peaceful walk in the park at night versus this daylight parade-scene that was Lahlil’s village administration building.
Retiring to any old deadpan expression wasn’t easy at this rate. Even heard her name mentioned twice through the doorway. Sadayo wanted to give Yo’ichi “the time of day” since such was clearly needed to genin but came to realize others already were needing her. Was it too soon to ache for intelligence officers? Sadayo could only allow herself to await Yo’ichi’s reply to add in her own offer to him: “You may sit in. That is unless," Unless, she says and tilts her head alike a shrug. The unforeseen topic in-wait could end up being above his head. "But I'm sure you'll understand.” she sighs, smiling gingerly with a tone that wasn't as worn as the last. How much had she let in? There was a prize in networking. She hadn’t called in the next guest yet. "You know. I've grown quite content with having a name that isn't important unless someone already knows me. It sometimes comes with the mindset of my job," which she didn't say. "It's impolite not to tell you. I am Soga Sadayo." Lastname first, first name second. "You may call me Director Soga."

By the time Theo had arrived Koku had finished attaching an arm to her plush/doll thing, the horned girl initially not bothering to look when she heard the approach. The reason she turned to look of him was due to the odd combination of smells coming from him, the unmissable scent of new clothes clear to her as well as the unmistakable scent of the hospital, which was a weird combination. She turned and looked at him with her eye that was unobstructed by her bangs, seeing an older man wearing brand new equipment, almost like a newly promoted chuunin but she guessed by certain telltale signs of prolonged neglect that he was not. She responded to his nod with one of her own, albeit whilst giving him a regarding look, clearly having some sort of thought over him but her neutral expression didn’t give any hints as to what.
She would slowly turn away whilst deciding he was a viable excuse to let herself and by extension likely get the stranger into the office as well. She put her needle and thread away after tying it of and snapping it from the doll, holding the doll under her armpit before tapping the door again and allowing herself in. ”Hey there, Sadayo I presume.... not trying be a bother but there’s a line forming and the guy behind me, he ain’t got a headband, is a bit older and by the looks of him I’m guessing it’s quite important?” She expressed in a horrendously casual fashion, remembering the operative referring to her as “Director Sadayo,” and decided to drop the formal part out of habit, her tone framing the statement she made as a question. Details of note would be that she wasn’t clearly wearing her headband, most genin wearing it as a badge of honour, Koku only did so on the job or when instructed, her perspective on its significance being rather different than most.
When Theodin heard the tapping at the door frame and the girl reference him standing there, he would lift his head off his chest and look towards the door. Using his staff as a walking stick, the big man would slowly walk over to stand near the opened door ‘Sadayo... that name sounds kind of familiar too...’ he’d think to himself as his blue eye scanned the room, spotting the woman with several large ponytails at the desk. ‘She even looks familiar... did that many people from Suna really rise this far within Konoha after the fall?’ He would continue thinking as he stood closer, where the woman would likely see him fairly clearly. “Sadayo, eh? Theo’s rumbling voice would say calmly, “That name sounds familiar... I vaguely remember a puppet user by that name serving under my mother years ago in Old Sunagakure... you may or may not remember me... name’s Theodin, though most friends just call me Theo a lot of the time.”
When he was able to step into the room, Theo would give Sadayo a slight bow, “I would assume either Seiichi or one of the other guards from the gates have filled you in on the circumstances of my arrival here?” He’d say calmly, before glancing towards the younger girl, “Maybe the young one shouldn’t hear the story I have to tell... it gets kinda gruesome...”

It seems that as quickly as Sadayo found the will to smile it left again. A wordless glance to the door lasted just a few, fleeting seconds before she shouted her name: “DIRECTOR SOGA!.” Her mass of hair quickly roiling with the last scraps of stress before resolving back into calm. Getting riled up totally wasn’t necessary. She wasn’t married and firmly wanted such understood if the regular ranks were going to be her new focus. Sadayo was still happily “Sadayo Soga” and sought to keep her name known a certain way, professionally, for as long as she could manage. Without a doubt, the Director could only assume there was rumor somewhere that only teases her unanswered, hush-hush devotion that was surely leading some to think Lahlil’s advisors were unquestionably, undeniably, romantically involved with one another. Keeping “Soga” fresh in mind professionally, (to keep pretenses at bay) she reasons, should prevent the idea the Director couldn’t wear her alleged lover’s name to avoid mixing up one professional Umechika over the other. She gave a worn look to Yo’ichi across from her on the couch as if she was sorry for practically yelling in his face and preferred feeling out for his happy vibes again. Today wasn’t her day.
“If this were the intelligence agency I’d have you all so preoccupied that forming lines outside the Director’s door would be unheard of. How’d you find me? This isn’t Lahlil’s office.” Juei agents, probably, she reasoned. She stands, moves to stand beside the arm of her seat and stretches her neck about with a weary roll, trying to soak in the happy vibes again. “Just this once. Come in.” There was no winning today. Her invitation extended to both Kokkakushiki and the headband-less person in wait. The first, at least, to come in was the older person described who caught Sadayo’s attention who was taller than she anticipated. The worn look was swapped for an eye-opening gaze at someone she wasn’t sure if they weren’t a fragmented figure from a distant dream. Before today, Sadayo wondered if she had actually formally met Theodin or was he a face and a name she once tried to commit to memory as being important. Her expression softens. Sadayo was looking ready to confirm his findings but replied amidst a sense of fluttering butterflies, “it’s not a common name. I promise you. ” She spun her supply bag around to face forward and opened it. A moment’s worth of wordless digging and Sadayo produced a crumbled letter with creases from its fold, now laminated, for him to see. The note was written in a hand Theo should be very familiar with and was one of the last fragments of the Hidden Sand she carried on her person. A letter of recommendation to the black operatives from Ayame, written approximately 10 years ago. “I kept my head low, mouth shut, and back glued to the wall. Hair was kept nicer then too,” spoke in jest as she gestures to her lack of ponytails with a gentle turn of her neck. “Not at all. Nobody has filled me in with details concerning anything as of the last twenty minutes. On that ground, I suspect you’re early. Being here, I think these genin have signed up for gruesome stories.” Sadayo shrugged and motioned for the pair to join alongside Y’oichi on the arrangement of seating. “I’d tell you to go say hi’ to the barefoot incarnate of wrath, Masato, too. But I can’t confirm if he’s still here. He survived too.” Sadayo had joined them, again across from Yo’ichi in some attempt to nab the happy vibes again. She sets her sights toward the open door again and then eyes the rest of the room. “I left him around here somewhere. You can probably still feel his fury in the walls.”

Theodin bent down to see the laminated but still creased paper Sadayo had pulled out of her bag, his breath catching slightly as he recognized the handwriting instantly. “I... haven’t seen my mom’s handwriting since before the fall of the village...” he’d say quietly before standing back to his full height when Sadayo mentioned keeping her hair better back then, Theo would chuckle slightly, “Didn’t we all,” he’d run his fingers through the somewhat still scraggly and blood stained white hair of is that fell about his shoulders. The haggard looking man smiled slightly, “Glad mom was able to help you establish some kinda reputation over here, at least... it would’ve sucked to have had to completely start over after getting a solid record built up.”
When she mentioned that the kids had signed up for gruesome, Theo shrugged, “I guess you’re right... perhaps my old age and experience has bent me toward wanting to shelter the younger shinobi at least a bit from the worst of what we can run into.” Taking a seat with a sigh and setting his staff aside for the time being, Theo would think through what Sadayo said about him being early and how to explain everything that happened. “Well,a few hours ago, I arrived at the gates by reverse summoning, my hair was caked with my own blood, covered in cuts, my leg partially still broken, near collapse. Not to mention this.” He would flip up the eyepatch he was wearing to show the scarred empty eye socket that once held his heterochromic green eye. “I had just managed to escape from what became of Suna after 10 years in captivity.. I don’t know what information has spread out of wind country in the past few years, but they call themselves the Sand Independence front , or something like that. Honestly didn’t listen to a lot of their bullshit even when they had their go of torturing information out of me about the village’s ANBU records, especially how to get into the caches of equipment and info from VOID. They had hunted me and one friend of mine from the village for a couple years, and killed her in the attempt to finally capture me. I also heard talk from guards about them doing medical experiments on other captives, but they kept me more or less totally isolated so I didn’t see much of anything there, just overhearing talk among officers that were set to guard my cell.” Theo would take another slow, calming breath as he felt the anger over what he had went through start to rise. “I finally managed to kill about a half dozen guards and escape when a couple people found a way to break in and destro the old rail gun that the bastards had mounted on the Crevice wall as a way to deter anyone from coming near the gates.i feel bad for leaving them to the fight, but I was running on fumes... rage and adrenaline alone wouldn’t have kept me fighting for long. I honestly still want to go back and help them ... and raze what the traitors and UHV built out of my home to the ground, but I can’t do it alone.” Theo would look back at Sadayo, then around at the younger shinobi in the room before sighing quietly. “That being said, the field medic that brought me to the hospital and made me an appointment here,” he’d pull out the card Seiichi gave him, “and the hospital medical nin that treated most of my injuries were both pulled away in he end looking concerned if not a bit nervous.... has something happened? If the village is under attack, I’ll gladly offer my strength to help.”

“This little piece of paper would’ve been worth a little more if I cashed it in. It’s just a tender relic of a world that was.” There was a rebuild. Ayame’s letter only glittered as testament to prove she was worth the rebuild. Her vagueness alluding to how she felt this wasn’t the time or place to dissect just how her world was overturned after going to the Whirlpool. She worried that she’d just confuse the genin who didn’t really know her either as she returned the note into her bag. “She survived too. Just went her own way many years ago, it seems,” she adds softly, thoughtfully, recalling the emotional plague of not knowing her own parents’ fate years ago was not a pleasant one. Of course, the more Theo spoke the more she learned that his own fate which unfolded wasn’t pleasant either. He lived in agony all the while she had once lived like a ghost, picking up her life anew. He withstood madness, cruelty, and still crushed his enemies. The job was just incomplete. Still, his survival gave the former Hidden Sand the upper hand it needed. Sadayo planted her elbow on the arm of the couch. “You will.” She hissed sharply and sloped into the corner of the seat.“They’re lawless garbage. Cowards. They lucked out with our backs turned and they’ll come to fear us with our faces forward.” The woman’s stoic stare was beginning to piece itself back together as her sights drift from space to the little card in Theodin’s hand. Has something happened?
It was too soon to divulge the Leaf was presently without its Hokage, how Sadayo was in over her head acting as one, and the chaos that could unfold from possible younin and innin finding out the potential hole in Leaf stability was just the beginning of the Director’s concerns ”Truth be told,” she began weaving a lie, shifting her sights over Theodin’s eyepatch. “If there is a danger then I’m suppos-” Another operative of JUEI appeared from the floor and extended a note to Sadayo before wordlessly phasing out. Sparing Theo and genin from the Director’s vague lie, Sadayo held her tongue as she unfolded the note and read quietly to herself. Her stoic stare hardens and she furrows her brow. “Along the northwest border there is a fortress positioned along the Lands of Rice and Iron is a trading outpost called Goshodzuka. As the most pressing of events, I wouldn’t doubt this is what’s causing a stir.”
Sadayo scans over the card again before speaking, grumbling with uncertainties (and lack of comfort about the topic): “as for the village itself, I’m not sure if I need to decide whether to rope the police or the shrines’ priests to handle this second problem. I’m reading that jars, shoes, and umbrellas are running amok. This is probably that yokai problem I was warned about.” The Director only sighs again and shakes her head, “Goshodzuka is far more pressing. The samurai have decided to kindly give us notice to an attack that’s gone into motion. By the look of it, my subordinates have already taken the liberties to set a reply in motion.” In lieu of rolling her eyes, Sadayo cast her sights to the arch of the doorway and spoke to herself aloud, “I have confidence in the polices’ ability to monitor the yokai. Theodin,” derailing her worries, Sadayo turns back to Theodin and the genin, ”if you want to channel your anger on the samurai, be my guest. Only samurai, however. In case you’re out of the loop, the Land of Lightning is running with new banners now. I only mention this because they do have forces in the Land of Rice and they’ve become our allies. I’m not looking to adding a treaty infringement on my head, thank you.” She drones dryly while beginning to dig about in her supply bag for more hair ties, “as for the two of you, I won’t ask you to put yourselves on the field of battle but I urge you to defend the village.”
Theodin would smirk evilly as his face hardened at Sadayo’s reaction about destroying the people that took over Suna, his lone eye scanning the area for information as she tried to reinstate a blank facade at the mention of something happening. Theodin had a sneaking suspicion that Sadayo wasn’t telling him something when it came to the state of the village’s politics, and that sheas currently in a higher position than she cared to admit. Not that he could blame her,he was technically a foreign shinobi and there were lower ranking ninja around that would need to believe they had solid leadership in the face of any incoming threats. Watching as the black ops operative stepped out of the shadow, handed a note to Sadayo, then vanished, Theo would nod slightly as she explained some of what was happening. When she mentioned sentient random objects roaming the village, Theo would chuckle slightly, “That just sounds like one of Mamoru’s or Bastet’s shenanigans to me.. could be a decent exercise for some genin or something.” When she described the fort to the north and the samurai attack, Theo nodded, “Now that... sounds more like some fun for me... I’ll do what I can to help, and do my best to minimize collateral damage... but if any lightning shinobi get in the way of my jutsu.... that’s kind of on them in my book.” With that said, Theo would flip his eyepatch back down over the hollow socket and grab his staff before standing and giving a slight bow to Sadayo. “Glad some of my former comrades from the Sand have been able to make decent lives for themselves. Now, if you’ll excuse me, Lady Sadayo... I got about a decade’s worth of rage to vent into some dumbass samurai.” He would give her a look suggesting that he at least suspected that she was higher in the village hierarchy than she let on, him having been a high level black operative himself within Suna, he knew how to read people and how to mask the covering up of secrets about as well as anyone. The big man would then turn and calmly leave the office before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Yo'ichi knew and understood what he was told, he knew that the samurai weren't the only threat in the village right now but there was something that he wanted to try. He stood up and faced Sadayo That probably means that you're going to the fort? He looked at his pointer finger and poked Sadayo between her brows. He couldn't help but giggle has he expanded his network. He stepped away and looked at her Can you hear me Hokage-sama? though he spoke, his lips remained still. He had been practicing this technique before he was excited at the chance to use it 'If I go to the Fort, I can monitor the situation and you will know real time'

It was so weird with someone else in her head. The taller genin tapping her forehead threw her off guard as she was re-bunching a handful of her hair for one ponytail. Sadayo briefly gave Yo’ichi a hard stare as if he breached her personal space bubble, even so as his voice resounded in her head: (Don’t call me that!) The woman broke the stare and returned to taking massive fistfuls and wrangling disproportionately sized hair ties to bind them. “If we both go then your vantage point will only increase wherever mine is.” The village was in good hands while the second advisor remained. tab (I can temporarily bolster our numbers by the dozens and lessen the force on the ranks. If I told you the reported estimate, you might be scratching regarding the population density that’s walled off from our ninja world.) She wrangled and fastened her third ponytail as she’d done many times before and fluffed each with a gentle shake of her head. Then the woman gave the genin a stately look that was both proud of her creations but incredibly leery of what candid judgments the genin may have about being an underling to someone who ran around with puppets and didn’t fight with her fists. Sadayo brought forth a humanoid puppet previously pinned to the wall during her previous excursion, a polished metal humanoid puppet which could surely grab attention with its unusual body, and a third humanoid dressed in yellow which has seen turmoil but certain to greet combat with a mocking smile.
Sadayo began to leave with her fabricated friends in tow.

Coda absently formed and reformed seals and images on her hand as she sat in the lobby of the Hokage's office. Her tattoos currently bore intricate depictions of Keres, winged patrons of death, interlocking over her shoulders, their wings wreathing her neck. These forms dispersed into the Yozen's typical patterns as they moved down her arm, occasionally form a symbol that likely meant something only to her. She'd be quietly asked to report here casually, though she suspected this was part of her obvious path towards Oinin. She'd been fairly forceful and single minded in her progress towards that goal. Unlike many she also rarely sought out purpose in the walls of the village's house of leadership, having only appeared here once to seek reassignment in the last few years.

He had a small square adhesive note on his fingertip with C O D A written in ink and a file under closed in his other hand. “Is that your given name or a surname?” He was an eccentric ninja with “sassy feline” written all over him, dressed to the nines in seasonal robes, form-fitting combat attire, and clacking his feet in a pair of wooden sandals. “Nah-nah-nyahn,” he laughs, waving his hand along. “You wanna be an Oinin, kitten. That name may become classified information someday! My name is Yō.” He smiles and bends his neck with his introduction. The novelty ceramic cat drop earrings caress his face and jingle. “Here, let’s get the business bits out of the way.”
Yō waves for Coda to follow into a spare office room with a couple of chairs and a table. Whereupon, the feline enthusiast set the folder down and laid the contents out for Coda to see. “Lemme see, lemme see. You’ve met the rank and you’ve met the criteria thus far. And just to state the obvious nobody’s slated you into the position already.” Clearly. Yō shrugged and grimaced as he sat on the corner of the table. “Sorry to repeat the obvious, kitten. Business is business. Why don’t you tell me a little of your goals? I’ve got only the business basics about you.” The business basics being rank, blood type, name, and some miscellaneous notes.

"Given." Coda responded casually, although that wasn't entirely true. Her true name was like a whisper in the back of her head these days, such that it didn't really register as ever having represented her at this point. She'd ceased using it prior to even joining the village, so she doubted it was actually relevant here. The woman remained relatively stoic as the whirlwind that was Yō led her off towards a separate room. She was honestly a little surprised by the question that came afterwords. "I want to be in a position that puts my skills to use, Oinin seemed like the best fit. I doubt the village is going to find someone with a skill set better suited. You'll also note that I was injured in the line of duty, which was while conducting operations to clean up remaining pockets of forces hostile to the village, like the UHV." It was concise, a bit blunt, not lacking in confidence, but that was kinda Coda to a T - at least in regards to the people currently in the village. Lahlil was her anchor, and that was gone for the time being, excepting a few rare occasions. Beyond that it was Sadayo, but it would appear the new Hokage was, well, not particularly enthusiastic about Coda one way or the other. She had to say that she was somewhat surprised to here that she was making this foray without support of any kind. She'd deployed twice with Sadayo, and knew the Hokage had at least a baseline knowledge of the unique elements of her skillset. For now though, she settled into on of the chairs and waited for Yō's next line of questioning.

He bit his lip Listening. Yō fell into a seat and thumbed the topmost sheet of Coda’s basic information out of the way, “the confident type, huh?” He flashes a toothy smirk in good humor as he vocalizes his first impression of the tattooed applicant. “UHV… UHV…” He pinched the corner of a third sheet and brought it forward. There were entries noting her activity with date stamps and some official’s name who must have read the report at some point in history. “It’s noted alright! Ah, that took you out of the game for a while, yes? Hmm.” His comment trailing off into a sympathetic hum. The entries should be familiar to Coda as it was a village record of her recent mission history, save for the escapades in Iron prior to the massive conflict. Beneath the file, Yō retrieved a stack of paperwork stapled together and placed the short stack before Coda. He then retrieved a novelty cat pen from the interior of his robe and offered it to her. “Okay my confident kitten Coda, this is a consent and waiver form. You’re free to read through it but the gist is through signing it you hereby understand that the procedures to become an Oinin in the Leaf may post a couple certain obstacles. None of said obstacles are actually designed to be lethal but you could still get hurt.” He pointed at various paragraphs worth nothing before pointing at the line where her name was needed. “Sign there. You’re acknowledging we’re not responsible for your injuries but we’ll see that you receive any medical attention. That article is standard stuff, really. Further down, you’re also consenting to any memory tampering. That’s the big one. If you’re somehow deemed unfit at the present time, ” Despite the seriousness of the waiver form, Yō then put on a grin so wide and toothy like a scheming creature in the shadows. “Then I’ll get the honor of wiping your memories!” He said, looking so proud of his job and eased the grin. “But don’t let that discourage you. My job is to preserve whatever village secrets you could be exposed to. I’m sworn to only meddle with the memories concerning the tests to come. But if you pass then there’s not a thing to fuss about! Sign there too please. ” After pointing at yet another space needing her signature Yō would begin to organize the file back to a tidy state, “forewarned, those proctors have their claws out and teeth barring. It’s hardball! But if you’re the crackerjack kinda’ Coda worth meowing about then there’s nothing at all to sweat over.”

”A just reward for overconfidence and carelessness.” She replied in response to the inquiry towards her injury. Coda leafed diligently through the, thankfully, short stack of papers. She wasn’t particularly fond of the contents, but then again this is exactly why she’d come to the village in the first place. She’d already ceded control of her life to the shinobi in pursuit of a chance to hunt the likes of those that had brought her to the gates in the first place, why stop here? Besides, if she was put in a position where they really went digging she’d have bigger problems anyways. Lahlil might have been understanding, but Coda had no expectation that Sadayo would extend the same leniency if she suspected something was amiss. After all, the Yozen was here of her own volition, not due to interest from the grand puppeteer. Her hand zipped out the required signatures and she carefully set the pent back down. “Guess I’ll just have to find out how big those claws are.”

The boy's frail body pushed through everyone and anyone who hindered him from making it to the twelfth floor of the Hokage's office. Toki never had a need to go to the location, but he knew from the Konoha textbooks where the building was and what floor the hokage's office was. His breathing was hectic and his face reflected the terror he dealt with. While he saw the guards and special forces arrived, there was no way that they could do enough damage to ward off the villains. Not to mention that Toki, having direct communication with Chai, knew more information than anyone else did on this topic. It was for this reason that he slammed into the twelfth floor and made his way to the secretary. "Is the hokage in?! The village is under attack, and I know some of the perpetrator's names." He shouted at her in a frantic, tense tone. He needed the hokage to not only install more forces at the gates, but also to deliver all of the information he had to the kage. After all, he was lucky enough to make it with his life, but others already have not had such priveleges.

This allows the user to travel instantly up to fifty feet within combat but cannot be used in conjunction with an attack during this action. In combat, this technique is able to be maximally used three times. Alternatively, this can be used to freely escape combat into another topic to another within the subforum. Outside of combat, the user may move the same distance as if escaping combat with this technique.

Toki's body flicker arrived him back into the residential district without issue. He wasn't sure if he was being followed, but he had a slight feeling as though he wasn't. He gave his note to Chai, and he hoped that was enough to get him off of his trail. As he entered his home, he quickly locked the door behind him. He then stood by the door with a kunai drawn to see if anyone was going to come knocking.

The user's speed and agility when wielding a small weapon is increased by [1] point. ▱▰▱ Dirty Reflection | With proper training and time put in, the user has learned how to angle their blade so that each attack reflects light at the opponent. After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their agility for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. Additionally, once every three posts the user can cause tier one blindness on the target. ▱▰▱ Two-fer-one | The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons as a supplementary action. ▱▰▱ Blade’s Edge l The user has learned to utilize projectile weapons with this style, allowing their small projectile weapons to be interchangeable with small weapons for this style. All projectie weaponry get the benefits of Knife Flow. ▱▰▱ Manipulating Line l After casting Retrieval, the user is able to tack on the additional chakra to the same activation of Retrieval. Instead of calling these weapons back to the user, they are able to be manipulated by the chakra threads they are attached to in a similar manner to puppet strings.The chakra threads attached to the weapons remain active for three posts and techniques can be executed from the Manipulating Line technique as though thrown by the user if desired. ▱▰▱ Collaboration [ Korabo ] | Rank X | Passive technique allows the user to combine two techniques together in order to create a single, stronger technique. Both activations of the lesser techniques must be paid along with their original cost from the person casting the technique. If the techniques combining originate from separate individuals, both individuals must have this technique and be able to use techniques equal to their partner's body rank. Two techniques of equal rank fused will become a technique of power one rank higher. So two B-ranked techniques fuse to make one A-ranked technique. Furthermore, two techniques separated by one rank in power will take the rank power of the higher rank, but will eliminate any potential weaknesses of the two techniques, and give the fusion the property of overwhelming. So if a B-ranked an a C-ranked technique were fused through the use of Korabo, then the technique would be B-ranked power with the property of overwhelming to techniques of the same rank. Finally, the rules for what techniques can be fused are as followed. The first rule is that the two techniques need to fulfill the same general purpose. For example, two projectile techniques can be fused together through the use of Korabo. However, an elemental shield and projectile technique cannot be fused together. Second of all, if two techniques of the same elemental property, or the same technique performed twice, are fused then the two techniques maintain their elemental strength and weaknesses. If two techniques with differing elements are fused, then the fusion loses all elemental strength and weaknesses. Finally, techniques can only be fused of different elements so long as they are complimentary elements, aka elements which have no elemental strength or weakness against each other. The only exception is if you fuse a technique with one of one rank higher, and the technique of one rank higher is of a weaker elemental property than the element which is stronger. An example is if you wanted to fuse a C-ranked water ninjutsu with a fire ninjutsu, then the fire ninjutsu would have to be B-ranked. In this example, the jutsu would treat the B-ranked fireball as C-ranked, and thus two fused would act as a B-ranked technique. Techniques fused either have to be of the same rank, or one rank difference. Finally, despite the leaning toward ninjutsu, this technique allows one to fuse complex and spiritual tai and bukijutsu as well. For complex techniques, treat it's fusion with ninjutsu as the example with two opposing elements fusing, (aka, if you want to fuse a B-ranked complex punch with a ninjutsu, then the ninjutsu would have to be C-ranked). Medical ninjutsu can also be korabo'd, but only with other medical techniques. ▱▰▱ Seal Connection [ Fuuin Tsunagu ] | Rank D | Passive Allows for the korabo, or the dual activation, of two activated seals. The seals may be used as two separate attacks where only one requires an activation, or allows the user to unseal their seal and combine the two attacks together into one korabo strike. This ensures they never carry less than 200 small projectile weapons. ▱▰▱Cluster Training | Rank C | Training The user's lengthy use of the bow has taught them to seamlessly fire an additional arrow for each arrow they would fire normally for a technique so long as they have the reserves to do so. ▱▰▱Shrapnel Arrow Creation | Rank S | Training The user takes a knife, widdling away at an arrow to create weaknesses in it's design. Doing so allows the user to create shrapnel arrows. These arrows cost nothing additional during a technique to be used with them however upon contact they explode and send wooden and metal shrapnel into anything within five feet of it's location. This technique may be used outside of combat to create arrows for later use. Converts arrows at a 1 to 1 ratio. ▱▰▱Cicada Shell | Rank B | Training After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. ▱▰▱ Mist Vision Technique l A technique usually used with the Hidden Mist Technique, the Mist Vision technique allows the user to see through the heavy mist, steam, or any other condition caused by water in the air. The technique is passive and activates when the user's vision would otherwise be obstructed by mist. When within a fog or mist, the user must use D-Rank chakra during the first post of use followed by an E-Rank amount as upkeep, this allows the user to see through all mist or steam as long as this is active regardless of rank. Does not consume an activation to be used. Negates any blindness status caused by moisture in the air. ▱▰▱ Multi-Mirror Image Training | Rank A | Training The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with.
