Two offers opened Maeko's cell and retrieved her for criminal processing. They would escort her from her holding cell in handcuffs before taking her down a long hallway. They began by rolling each finger in ink to collect fingerprints. Maeko was then taken in for a mugshot and photograph for her new criminal record. There was an imposing level of procedure from the state to be sure. She was then taken to her actual cell rather than her holding cell in the front of the prison complex. The bars would slam shut behind her as officers met to the side. "This the assault and battery one?" One officer asked before taking a glance at the battered Maeko. The other officer nodded and responded. "Yeah, that's the one. A former rogue or something and you know how they are." They continued their discussion while filing Maeko's charges.

Maeko could feel a throbbing pain in the back of her head, probably from her tumble. Her hair was dirty from the fight, from her running through the streets. The smell of sweat and dirt clung to her, she waited for what happened next. The officers came and escorted her around. She dragged her feet, still exhausted from all the emotional trauma. As they walked down the hallway she prayed that she'd not un into that Ray of Sunshine that bore heavy upon her heart. For it would surely burn her away, Maeko was foul and Kaito was pure. That much was true, especially now. Everything she had worked for these last five years was wiped away the moment she lost herself to madness and sorrow.
Now they had Mae' dabbing each finger into ink and leaving prints on official APD documents. Everything was happening so fast now. Her glossed over eyes, staring deep into a distant void flashed with light as they took her picture. Before Maeko knew it she was sitting with her back against her concrete cell wall, knees pulled up to her chest, watching as a beetle scurried about, by her feet. Listening to the guards. One of their words elicited a response after her deafening silence for the last few hours. "T'chhh..." It was a small sound, but no doubt they heard her reaction to being called a Rogue. "You don't know me..." Mae' would growl out, still stuck with her eyes on that small bug. How miniscule in the grand scheme of things. Trapped to roam the vast expanse of the floor, like she was trapped in her own mind. That wasn't me, is what was on repeat inside her head. That's not me.

Then, when the user is struck with a tai or bukijutsu technique, the user is able to have a plate of bones first protect the area which was struck equal rank to the strike provided. Then, the user launches a counter attack, which converts the opponent’s strength stat which they used the technique into the speed of which the bone blades rise out of the user to impale the target. Can only be used up to the rank the user has access to. Cost one activation to block the strike, and another to launch the counter strike. Her courage newly restored, shion turned to leave with Kaito. As the boy dumped a myriad stream of questions on her, Shion couldnt help but laugh. "Relax, dude. I got some stories for you if you want, but lets decide on food first."
Toso had followed the anbu to the core compound. It would come to be an unfortunate circumstance that he would hear the news that Shion had already left the building, left the building with an officer in tow. It was here that the anbu who was escorting the Arashikage did announce. "I told you she's gone awol! The woman I saw, last night, this morning, it ain't the same commander I tell you!" Toso would cough and adjust his glasses only to inquire. "Just what exactly made you come to this conclusion?""Well last night..." a long-winded explanation and report came from the anbu, one that was a little 'too' detailed, once that implied someone was snooping where they shouldn't be without viable causation. Ultimately it seemed this yarn this anbu was spinning was one of two things. Toso's friend either had a creepy stalker or two, they were trying to compromise his friends position. Ah, there was also three, in where the lad was just plain slow in the head. "What's your current rank in the ops Mr.Jinsei? bloop?""I uh..Initiate sir." Toso would nod to approach the desk where in the rank and file was handled. The brother and sister duo greeted the kage in unison. It was always eerie how they spoke but unique. "Do you mind providing me the case Mr.Jinsei here mentioned. Ah, and see that perchance he's transferred to the Oinin sector...he seems to have a talent for following people." the man would jump only to flounder slightly. "I uh? What, sir?" Toso would only nod and provide no context leaving only a confused face on the lad.
Now...whether or not Jinsei and an aforementioned individual named Jin were in any way related whatsoever was to be determined. He'd dismiss the confused anbu initiate now made oinin initiate by order of the kage and attain the current case file of a recent transgression. One incredibly recent. "Hmmmm. Unfortunate. Bloop." He'd sigh, this whole Shion going awol nonsense had ruined a passionate moment of what could have the most intimate he'd ever been. Still it had at least enlightened him on a certain case matter. That case matter being a certain someone now under lock and key. "I'm going to pay this particular individual a visit, may I?" Of course sir, and the usual routine followed, Toso would be escorted through the dreariness of the core holding facility until reaching the cell block in question. He'd wave off the two guardsmen for a moment of privacy, while they did move towards the cell blocks exit they didn't leave the block entirely.
Maeko, who may have heard approaching footsteps while staring at the ground would then hear the click of a cane outside her cell, if she were to look up she'd see none other than the man who had given her the chance to make this very village her home. "Well miss Tsujihara, exhibitionism, assault, and battery of a superior officer, I can't say I'm too happy to hear this news. Especially when having allowed you to reside here in Arashigakure bloop. I would hope you have a good reason for these charges. As it would be most heartbreaking to have to send you into exile." The man was gentle in his speech but also stern come its end. Exile. That would be the fate Maeko would be faced with for her mistakes if she failed to reach out to the Arashikage here, but he was giving her the chance, the chance to reach an understanding of the events that lead her into this cell, alone, while her ex and his military ops commander were likely having a lovely date.

Maeko heard a door open in in her cell block, but paid no attention to it. Her blank stare had moved back to the floor after her outburst, having ignored whatever else those guards had to say. That being said, the crack of that cane on the cold concrete floor was familiar. And even though she heard his voice before seeing him, Maeko knew just who it was. Pulling herself up from being slouched, arms wrapped about her legs. She just stared straight ahead.
Had she regressed this far? A trait she had broken a long time ago. seemed to be back. She had been staring at the guards feet during her response to their comments. And now it seemed she was going to do it to 'Toso. Her head started to turn, up towards his face, but when she caught sight of those black glasses they darted straight down to his knees. Maeko quivered and almost let out a sob, she choked it back and did her best to remain silent. She bit at the inside of her mouth to keep quiet as her 'Kage spoke. Just the mention of being exiled caused her to visibly recoil. Mae's head snapped forward and she slumped squeezing those legs tight as she fought off tears. It was coming. Toso was gonna have to deal with it all. "I-I'm sorry Toso'Kage..." she croaked out her pet name for him. What she had called him ever since they met. "I'm so sorry." Maeko sniffles hard, snot snorting hard. Tears were streaking down her cheek. Her head coming back up, to bring her eyes to his eyes. They weren't glossy and distant now. Her facade was gone. Sorrow and hurt swam in those Emeralds Gems of her's. "I-I-I beg for abso-absolute privacy, Toso'K-Kage..." The gal was broken, worse than when she arrived in Arashi. She was reaching out for help, from the same person who gave her this home. For what was probably going to be the final time she would have the opportunity. She moved, facing the white haired man, bending forward on her knees. "Please, give me time alone w-with you Lord 'Kage...for my friend's sake n-not mine...I'll explain it all..."

A varied sigh came from the Arashikage's mouth before he turned heel. A few more footsteps and unheards words of conversation between the doormen and the Arashikage. The doormen looked at each other not too keen on leaving the cell block unmanned. Some hand gestures and more conversing before one of the two doormen would shrug and pat his mates shoulder. The sound of the blocks exit opening and closing followed by another exasperated exhale. Tapping once more against the grain the kage would look once more to the broken girl but until she gave a valid enough explanation Toso's face remained stoic and indifferent. "I've acquired ten minutes Ms.Tsujihara. Let's not let them go to waste." As much as he was one to pity others when those others bite the hand that feeds them without good reason the kage could only provide the most basic of demeanor. Many past leaders have been burned by the rebellious wanderer feigning innocence only to plant seeds of chaos amidst its people and while Toso wanted to have that faith he still hadn't heard any explanation. Maeko's aversion of eye contact bore striking similarities to a daughter fearing the scolding of her father and the same mood was produced when Toso knelt down partially. "So tell me why." emanating an aura of understanding but simultaneously one of interrogation.

Relief, for once in the last 24 hours, flooded through her. Maeko lifted herself up, shakily standing as she moved over, so she could lean against a wall. She waited, and waited, until he was finally back. She seemed to have calmed down some, at least enough that she could speak without choking up. "I...something's wrong with me." Are the first words that slipped from her lips. Her eyes darted down, but now that she had calmed down, they came back up. She, if anything, would force herself to keep eye contact. If there's anyone she trusted, it was Toso'. "Me and...me and Kaito had an arguement." She paused, for the slightest second distance settled in her eyes as all the words started to flood back into her mind, tears quickly welling up. She bit her tongue and gulped down a hard swallow. "N'nnnhn...he made me realize just ho-how much I would hover over him. I didn't mean to make him feel so controlled and managed...he was my very first friend." Maeko'd lurched forward, tears pouring from her eyes, hands gripping the cell bars tight, her pale hands trembling as she started to slide down, to slip back to her knees, hiding her face. There was a few minutes of silence and sobbing as she tried to bring herself under control. So she didn't run out of time. With a deep breath she started up in a shakey tone. "I won't beg, or ask you to do anything to spare me from my fate. I will own up to my crimes Toso. Just make sure Kaito doesn't get in anymore trouble. I didn't want the guards to hear, I don't know if its big news to people here that we were close. But I know Kenshin has been on him so much and I don't want him in anymore trouble. I don't want to ruin anything else for him..." Maeko was dead serious with that, eyes locked on his. "Do not...don't let this effect him or his career..." Maeko pulled herself up, gulping. "He told me to leave him alone and I said I would go away. So if you have to exile me I won't fight it...but I am not okay. I...I am asking for help before I go. The fight, its just a blur, that wasn't me Toso' I swear that wasn't me. O-Only a crazy person drives someone they love away from them, just by their presence. I messed up Toso', before you send me away, please fix me so I don't hurt anyone else." Maeko'd cried all her tears out, her face was puffy, eyes wet and itchy. She had told him everything she could.
This was so dumb...Maeko knew that herself. That her own feelings would send her into a downward spiral that she lost herself in. She had thrown it all away, any chance she had left of mending that bridge between herself and Kaito were gone now. Even if she didn't get sent away, he already has enough problems in the force. If he ever got with a one time police assailant his career would be tanked. "It's all gone, Toso'Kage, and its no one's fault but mine." One last tear streaked down her left cheek as she tried to put on a smile, eyes closed. The girl was a miserable sight. For now she'd await his response. She was prepared for his bluntness. Maeko knew he wouldn't pull a single punch and prepared herself for a response she wouldn't like.

Toso would pat the youngling on her head through the bars as he slowly stood up his hand would continue to rest against the top of her head producing that feeling of security. When Maeko would eventually raise her head and the two of their eyes would meet was when Toso would cleanly stab the pointed end of his cane through her neck in a clean and concise execution only to say 'such problems will compromise the safety of my sanctuary and thus cannot be allowed to exist.' before walking away coldly. give her a tiding of reassurance. "I'll look into casualties if any, you'll have to take responsibility should I find you guilty of manslaughter accidental or otherwise bloop." A momentary sigh once more followed by a sudden perking up from a sore rear end from earlier. "Officer Kosei won't hear of officer Nagadera's part in this, as far as I'm concerned this hardly involves him. I will see about attaining a waiver for a psychiatric evaluation." Toso's head would default to Kagerou. If Maeko was indeed mentally ill it was far from him to punish her for it, yet at the same time actions needed consequences. He already made one exorbitantly large pardon that could have been seen as treason years ago, and he wasn't about to make the same decisions twice.
He was going to say mistake, but in the end if it was a mistake he'd have had nobody to blame for himself. The 'nephew' that now resided in his village was evidence of this mistake and not a day went by that an anxiety didn't well within him. Satoshi was proving to be a good lad and hopefully he'd remain a good lad. Kagami, her fits of madness and what was supposed to be her madness instead being quelled by the blood dragons eye meant that she was ill in the head undoubtedly not unlike the girl in front of him, and low did he not want this girl straying down the same path. Just promise to behave yourself for now." what appeared to be Toso using the end of his cane to start drawing on the ground occurred what would later be produced was a sumi bunshin of himself. This was to try and alleviate the discomfort in his aft end but alternatively made it look like he was assuming that 'cool guy in an alleyway' pose you see in films. She'd press her head against that hand, sighing softly. "Y-Yes sir. Of course. I don't think I killed anyone in the fight..." Maeko pulled back, letting out a very relieved sigh. She already felt somewhat better getting all of it off her chest. A part of her heart still hurt, a lot, but this was a good thing. If she could get better, give Kaito the space he needed that would make her happy. If he was happy of course. "Thank you Lord 'Kage. I just didn't want anyone putting him down fore being close to me at somepoint..." Mae' was holding her upper arm, gently rubbing at a bruise. "Thank you so much, I will behave. Who is Kagerou?" The name itself sounded familiar but she had yet to meet the lady, she thought. The Kaguya lass would watch as he produced a clone. Strange, she couldn't even channel her chakra, herself. Maybe he was allowed? Or was just that powerful. Gulping she snapped her attention back to Toso, listening close to his last bit of dialogue. Mae' interrupted, concerned about his wincing.
"You...you're okay right?" But her words were overshadowed. She got quiet as he told her what her best move would be, reguarding Kaito. She was trying to picture that meeting now, but it terrified her in truth. The thought of seeing him, after she had done all of this, it terrified her more than anything. Before she was just a crazy obsessive girl, but now she was a criminal. Her free hand move to her belly, feeling it turn over. "E'hhhhn...w-w-wait? What? He...he gets to make." Her pale skin went as pale as it ever could, turning on a dime, she stumbled over to the toilet and suddenly wretched. Only drool and saliva came up, some bile. From their last meeting, all she knew is she would make him leave. The thought of hearing him telling her to leave was stunning. Stomach churning. Maeko brought her hand up, wiping her lips with the back of her hand. "S-Sorry...I understand, Toso'Kage. Thank you." She bowed deeply, before rising. "What ever my punishment, or Kaito's desicion. I promise I won't be a problem...I feel sick. My head is killing me, if you need anything else I can keep going but I need to sit..." Maeko, reached out and grasped her bunk, and lowered herself. Dressed in a kimono, Kagerou arrived on the scene at the squid clone's orders. She stepped through the doors of the CORE compound and was, probably, escorted to wherever Toso and Maeko were having their heart-to-heart chat. Her bells, per usual, announced her arrival in advance.
"Lord Arashikage," Kagerou greeted, the faintest traces of a melody finding their way into her speech, "You don't usually call for me, much less request that I process a patient." She smiled, briefly at Maeko when she first entered before giving the Arashikage a bow as she gave him her full attention.
She'd picked up some words and ideas on her way in, but nothing concrete. After all, she'd only just found out there was a problem when the clone had called for her, while she was in the middle of catching up on sleep no less, a few minutes ago.
Hajime led Soraru to the Core, and slipped into the entrance. He'd speak with the lady at the front desk about the whereabouts of the 'Kage. After confirming he was here, he was told they would have to wait until he was free. "Ah, I gotcha, well I'm certain it won't take to long." Haji' responded before making a sweeping turn and giving Sor' a big smirk and a thumbs up.
"Sooo, you said you are originally from here? And, ah, I am Hajime Asuhara, apollogies for not mentioning it until now." He offered him his hand, that smirk plastered across his face. If and when they shook, he'd take a seat in a chair, as they waited for the Arashikage to free himself from his current duties.

I dunno where my on going techniques went but the Hydra is still attacking the puppets, and his lightning strike armor is still equiped. chakra has been taking out for both's upkeep.
It'd been some time since Soraru saw the core, which could easily be considered a good thing. He was typically the one in a cell, waiting to receive his warning so that he could go home. The leniency they showed him was, in a way, him abusing the system. He regretted it deeply, but it was too late to do anything about it. Walking through the facility with Hajime, he didn't make show any issue with following his lead and stood silent for a majority of the time. It was only after receiving the news that they'd need to wait to speak to the Kage that the orange-headed man tried to strike up a conversation.
"It's not a problem, Asuhara-san. I worked in Kumogakure before the war, and I've lived here ever since it ended. Soraru Hiraite. Sora is fine." It was a strange combination of formal and distant. He accepted the handshake and smiled pleasantly enough, but it wouldn't be difficult to tell that the words seemed practiced. Rehearsed. "I couldn't help but notice your weapons. Are you a Kazekiri practitioner? Or are you mastering a different discipline?" He asked, his tone carrying a lot more interest than his introduction. He enjoyed speaking to swordsmen more than he did most others. It was only natural that one would find entertainment in speaking about their profession.
"Actually..." He continued soon after, likely not giving the man time to respond, his gaze focusing further on Hajime while his brows furrowed the slightest bit. "I recall you saying something about leaving. Are you being tested, Asuhara-san? Or do you plan to resign? I could offer you some insight either way. I was once a shinobi too." Choosing to stand, he watched the other man with searching eyes. His predicament, regardless of the circumstances, was found to be interesting.
Non-Combat Outfit: He typically wears a maroon haori emblazoned with the Hide clan's insignia over a black kimono and an umanori of the same color. The umanori is decorated with an embroidered gold dragon coiling around a large chrysanthemum, poised to defend it. This embroidery manages to cover the entirety of the split hakama, though it's largely placed on the left side. Rather than a single obi, he wears two that overlap one another, colored maroon and gold respectively. He either wears white tabi with sandals or his shinobi shoes. There's a dark brown quiver sown shut that rests horizontally on his lower back. There are a few pouches on the interior of his haori that hold his ninja tools, positioned in such a way that they could all come bursting out the back of it with the use of the right jutsu. Prayer beads unique to the Hakemoto coil around his left hand loosely, and he usually wears an Uzumaki mask on the side of his head or elsewhere on his person.
"Just some minor soreness you needn't worry." Toso said before assuming a face of regret. It was an eye opening experience but the first time was more than its fair share of 'grueling'. It was right about this time Kagerou arrived punctually, and similarly at the same time did the two guardsmen watching the door from earlier did enter. Toso would then confer with Kagerou her purpose here. "Indeed I would like you to provide Miss. Tsujihara here a psychiatric evaluation to determine the stability of her mental health bloop. Should you find nothing wrong she will be charged with intent to conspire and exiled from the village. If you discern her mental health is compromised however do prescribe what treatment you deem necessary and we will have a follow up where we establish a particular meeting." Toso hadn't looked at Maeko since Kagerou's arrival. His hand was in a manner of presenting a subject for testing. The kage was trying to maintain airs of being blunt and unempathetic which was easy to do in regards to his lacking facial expressions.
He'd point his cane to down the hall. "The ward for such treatments and the room for conjugal visits is down that direction, try to avoid confusing them, the guardsmen should accompany you after you request her release and watch the door then after. I'll leave this situation in your capable hands while I handle the more pen and paper matters." He click his cane down in front of him before giving Kagerou a nod of assurance. He'd begin to walk off towards the exit before turning his head briefly. "This area prevents the use of jutsu by unauthorized personnel so if possible try to diagnose Miss Tsujihara to the best of your natural ability Ka-nee." Toso would then turn the handle and exit.
Some short strides later and he was in the presence of the kage. "I was once a shinobi to." would have the sentence end with the tap of a cane in front of the duo. "Once were you? Retired or gone rogue? bloop. I warn you, my mood is a bit soured currently. bloop." This was in reference to the tinges of black present in his thoughts during his discussion with Maeko. The combined soreness with the bad news was causing momentary fluctuations. The kages head was cocked as they seemed to scan the boy who made the claim up and down. Inside the kage's eyes seemed to be the shutters of a camera that could almost be compared to something almost toad-like or reptilian where the irises closed and opened but they had the distinctive design seen in most cephalopod marine life. Almost as if the man had a very low release of sage chakra being consistently maintained. This wasn't the case, after all Toso was incapable of becoming a sage...well he was capable but squids and slugs despite being mostly invertebrate didn't at the moment seem like they wanted to agree to a compromise as if saying 'NO YOU CAN'T BE AN ANIME PROTAGONIST WITH ALL THE ABILITIES'.
"You've an air of familiarity about you bloop." The kage would say before a fly fluttered nearby. As if zooming in on the target did the kages strange eyes focus on the insect before a serpentine form shot out of his back bearing teeth emerged in an instant almost whip like fashion before the sound of snap occurred and the fly was left completely corpseless all done in a manner without so much as a single additional movement from the man himself that stood before the duo.

The user is able to use fuuton techniques that require fans with their scythe. ○ Conditioned Physique {Teikiatsu} Simple Bukijutsu require 5 less stamina per rank of the technique. ○ Stroke of Genius {Sumi-Efude} The user may mold and reproduce any ink techniques in this style without the need of hand signs. Additionally, fuuin can be reproduced with the brush and ink without requiring hand signs. Single instances of gathering concentrations outside of techniques in this style are doubled capping at the users maximum limit. ○ Order Secret: Redirection {Arcane Knight} The user's tireless training with the Shield as a part of their everyday combat kit has taught them to effortlessly direct the force of an opponent's strike so that any of their added descriptive strength being used when interacting with a shield is nullified. ○ Order Secret: Arcane Wisdom {Arcane Knight} he user has mastered their chakra during combat. This focus and chakra control allows the user to deflect ninjutsu with complex formless or shield techniques equal to the rank of the ninjutsu. ○ Devil Fang {Jaryu} The user is able to pay the cost of a technique twice once every three posts. When this is done, the user can release the technique twice at the cost of a single activation, allowing them to overwhelm a single target with ease. The sound of a tapping cane didn't go ignored, and Soraru averted his gaze from Haji's eyes to those that were new, and yet oddly familiar. He felt like he'd seen the sharp features and white hair before. The strange way he ended his sentences led to memories of a blue-haired Hojo girl that used to cross his path quite often, and while normally that would've made things click for the former shinobi, he didn't recall anyone who dressed so damn dapper from his time in Kumogakure. Doesn't really matter. I guess this is the 'big blooper' that Hajime was talking about. Toso Hojo, the Arashikage. Even his name's familiar, but I still can't figure out why. He thought, before wondering exactly how he should respond to the man's question. He hadn't gone rogue, but as far as he knew, his retirement wasn't ever made official. Things just happened to transition from taking time off to be there for his newborns to never showing back up. It could have been that he was made to sign some form or another during the few times he'd been jailed following certain traumatic events, but he couldn't be certain.
His gaze never left the kage's, even as he was being examined by some of the strangest eyes he'd ever seen. The only conclusion Soraru bothered to make during that time was that Toso Hojo was a weird man, at least by his own standards. He'd worked both under or alongside different leaders in the past, and he always had an idea of how each relationship would pan out over time from the very first meeting. They'd only just met, and every second made him rethink his perspective. The man finished his observations with a final statement, and Soraru nodded. "I thought the...hmm." The entire sentence was stolen from him in an instant, and there was no hiding the incredulous look that overcame a normally stoic face. It slowly transitioned to amusement just from the sheer lack of reaction from the perpetrator of instantaneous fly murder, and he quickly came to the realization that he'd never truly be able to see through the Arashikage in the way he did others.
"You're going to take some getting used to, Arashikage-dono." His first uninterrupted words to Toso were completely different from anything else he'd rehearsed. Genuine, unforced interactions had become a rare, precious thing, and Soraru wasn't going to squander it by saying anything but whatever came to his mind first. "I was a Jounin in the Seizan Raid, but I took a leave of absence after the migration to be a father. I've never returned to serve the village until now. I'd rather not get into the why. I'm here in front of you to pledge myself again, and I think that's what matters."
Non-Combat Outfit: He typically wears a maroon haori emblazoned with the Hide clan's insignia over a black kimono and an umanori of the same color. The umanori is decorated with an embroidered gold dragon coiling around a large chrysanthemum, poised to defend it. This embroidery manages to cover the entirety of the split hakama, though it's largely placed on the left side. Rather than a single obi, he wears two that overlap one another, colored maroon and gold respectively. He either wears white tabi with sandals or his shinobi shoes. There's a dark brown quiver sown shut that rests horizontally on his lower back. There are a few pouches on the interior of his haori that hold his ninja tools, positioned in such a way that they could all come bursting out the back of it with the use of the right jutsu. Prayer beads unique to the Hakemoto coil around his left hand loosely, and he usually wears an Uzumaki mask on the side of his head or elsewhere on his person.
