According to the offical website for Yaoi-con and Yuri-con, Yaoi/Yuri was designed with females inmind.
I guess females can appriecate the yummy goodness that is yaoi more than guys can ^^.

So? Guys seem to do the same with yuri. Most of the yuri fanbase is made of males. There's some psychological aspects with it - as in that females sometimes feel more comfortable watching things that are not associated with their gender, visa versa but .. yea..
It's not really that odd.

hehehe well most of the creators of yaoi/shounen-ai are girls sweatdrop so I cannot say anything I am a boy btw and I am gay but really... girls are the most yaoi experts here some authors of magas are boys too but hello I mean Makie Murakami-sama she made tha gravitation megas mix a tottaly lemon side of the storie of Gravitation and have anyone has see that? woooh is hot domokun mrgreen

I agree that yaoi was made for girls, but guys can enjoy it to. It is not limited by the gender of that person. You get what I mean?

Yeah i thought that was pretty odd....but it's bound to happen. Most yuri fans are guys, so it's not that strange that most yaoi fans are girls.
