The Doctor was right. Something had to be done, before things turned really bad. Eating probably would have helped a lot too, but knowing what had last been between his teeth, Orrin really did not want to. But if the Doc tried to take that thing out, he might end up hurting him. There was only one thing he could think of, something he remembered another doctor doing. Though, that one hadn't really been trying to help...

The zombie began unwrapping his many bandages. Many of the wounds were already healed, but Orrin never really had the courage to check. He then tied his feet to the bed, which wasn't easy to do with an arm that would hardly obey him anymore. Before tying his other arm, he took the ex-coat off his wound, putting it in his mouth. He tried to tell the Doctor to be careful, but it simply ended up as muffled nonsense. "Bh-bhmff... Hmmfrrh..."

(Sorry guys! Life got me. D; )

{Life is always more important dear. Is it treating you well at least?}

The surgeon watched with morbid fascination as the bandages came off. But his expression turned grave afterward. In all his time in medicine -and kidnapping people-, never had any of his patients tied themselves down. Sciurus took a deep breath, cracking his knuckles as he considered. This probably wouldn't bode well.

"I'm assuming from that, It's time to get the scalpel out. I'm also assuming you're not going to be happy about it... Well, wouldn't be any fun to surgery without a little danger. I will do my best." He approached cautiously, looking over the wound. Actually finding the scalpel first would be the easy part.

Silenda gagged at the sight of the wounds, color draining from her face quickly. She had never seen someone so grotesquely injured before, and silently hoped it would be the last. "D-doctor, sir? D-do you have anything in your bag that might numb the pain for him?"

Meanwhile, Orrin was already dreaming away of other things, which was probably for the better. After all, he could really have uses some happy thoughts right then. And though the memories that came to mind weren't necessarily the happiest, they were at least somewhat better than the current events. Aside from that one, perticularly strong memory. Sciurus wasn't the first doctor he had met after his death, nor the first to show him a bit of kindness. But he'd been avoiding them like the ever since that one doctor decided it would be interesting to test the pain levels and brain activity of the undead.

Perhaps the reason why he was still a bit afraid of Sciurus was that they looked slightly alike, him and that maniac. Though that man had dark hair, and though his eyes were rather different, they were both rather tall and... unnerving, somehow. And even if this new doctor seemed a lot more friendly, it ached him so, having to rely on his help.

{Apparently Cocaine was first made as an anesthetic o.O I wonder how/why people manage to abuse it now? }
"Probably not. They don't store very well, but if any is present, it would be as a syringe... Be careful around some of the sharper things inside." The bag in question was on the floor near the bed, the surgeon bending down and retrieving a few long, pointy instruments. "Whether an anesthetic would even work, I do not know." Sciurus carefully tried using one of the instruments to clear some of the mess away, trying to actually touch the wound as little as possible. He could almost see the end of the scalpel.

The green man didn't hear them anymore. He was too busy nibbling on the old cloth. The taste of blood had a strangely soothing effect on him, even though it was actually his own. Orrin didn't even notice the Doctor working on his wound yet. Though the current peace would not last for long.

(I didn't even notice your post before, they were at nearly the exact same time! xD Also, the thought of a high Orrin just cracks me up. Oh lord...)

{xDD oh dear, that would probably be bad. xD I didn't notice you had put something up, usually I try to keep the thread with a refreshing to check that}

Finally, he had found the wound. The flesh around it was in dangerous condition, the scalpel almost completely embedded. Part of Sciurus was amazed it hadn't started out the other end, while the other part wanted to stab himself with it because it was his fault. Orrin seemed fine enough, but the 'fun' was just starting and looks wouldn't deceive for long.The surgeon looked around the room, and idea forming in his head, and upon spying a liquid bottle, he pounced on it from across the room. He read the label, and the smile his face erupted into was almost terrifying.

It was the sort of creepy smile one had before rubbing their hands and cackling maniacally, though the doctor's hands were full at the moment. He showed the bottle face to Silenda, it was a numbing agent with sterile iodine. Just what the medic ordered. Sciurus went back to the arm, spreading some of the bottle over the wound. Had Orrin been awake, he would have had a sensation of his arm icing over. If the surgeon acted fast, the effect should be enough to hopefully get the scalpel out.

{Sadly, I don't actually know what the chilly stuff is officially called, but they used it once when I had something done. & the iodine thing is that brownish liquid they also use for cleaning stuff first. /sweatdrops/ }

For a moment or two, the zombie forgot what was going on. He just knew that he was hungry, and soon came to realise that the cloth wasn't really edible. But when he tried to get up, he noticed that he was quite stuck. For a mere split second, he panicked, before he finally remembered. But something was strange. He couldn't feel any pain. Why was that? Was the Doctor done already? How long had he actually been gone for?

Orrin turned his head tiredly towards the arm, looking quickly away when he saw the Doctor fiddling with the wound. Oddly enough, he couldn't stand the sight of gore. But if the Doc wasn't done yet, why didn't he feel anything? In fact, he couldn't feel his arm at all. Trying to move it, just to make sure it wasn't a lost cause, nothing really happened. Aside from a slight twitching of the fingers. And why did he feel so cold? The poor guy simply thought he was hallucinating.

(Oh, it would be very bad. He can hardly talk as it is! xD)

((Going to be gone for the weekend. Going to a wedding! X3))

The girl could not have paled even further as she peeked at the doctor working. She quietly excused herself from the area, hurriedly making her way a little down the hallway to avoid hurling in the sight of the doctor and his patient.

{Poor guy, oh no. & who knows if he got hungry? Mamma mia xD
/Waves at Silenda/ Cool, have fun!}

The surgeon felt rather than heard the poor girl leave, and couldn't blame her. Beautiful as the body's design was, surgery was far from pretty, especially with the sounds and smells. With practiced willpower, Sciurus repressed any reaction as he gently got his fingers around the scalpel and started to pull it out with a very upsetting sound. He dropped it in mild disgust, bending to retrieve more tools and a thick, curved, threaded needle. "It's out. Now just some house keeping, I'll close it all up, and you should be fine. You can even get something to eat after."

He started cleaning things, putting things back the way they were supposed to be and other mopping ups. The challenge now was telling the difference between what was Orrin and what had to be cleaned out.

Orrin mumbled something into the cloth, that couldn't quite be made out. He really disliked the cold sensation, which was even colder than what he was used to. But at least he didn't feel the pain. The green man turned his head to look at the Doctor again to see what he was doing, only to be met by the horror of, what seemed to him to be, a gigantic needle. With horror in his eyes, he stared up at the ceiling, praying for it all to be over soon.

(Oh, the horror! rofl I think we might've scarred the poor witchling for life, though... Hope you have a great time at the wedding, dear~)

{xD oh dear Poor witchling /gives cookies/}

Catching the horror on Orrin's face, Sciurus couldn't help but chuckle. "It's not that bad, just like fixing pants. Would it help you to know this isn't the largest size? Almost done." Most of the bleeding had stopped. Things appeared to be in order and looked as clean as they were going to get. The doctor put away his instruments except the needle and stripped off his gloves to the floor. It would be another night of making the washing machine cry. Cracking his knuckles, Sciurus took the nasty looking needle and began sewing the arm shut.

The thought of bigger needles didn't exactly put the guy at ease. And being compared to broken pants didn't amuse him much either. Letting out a tiny growl, his eyes narrowed in general dislike. A shiver went through his spine at the sound of knuckles being cracked, with a mild sense of panic. All he could do was hope that the Doc wouldn't see all cuts and bite wounds from earlier, and get the sudden idea to poke around with those as well. Lucky for Orrin, he was such a mess that they could hardly be noticed.

Sciurus held the skin together as he stitched, arching a brow at the sound. "Rip my arms off, and I won't be able to help you. " The surgeon muttered aloud. It was the reply to an old recurring threat from another person he often had to patch up. Though his was probably the most severe, the surgeon noticed other wounds here and there, but they didn't seem like anything the zombie couldn't handle himself. Sciurus would make sure to send him home with plenty of band-aids, peroxide wipes, a nice steak and a fresh set of bandages for all the trouble. "So simply for future reference, what type of things do you prefer to eat? Do you enjoy steak?"

Ashamed, and slightly terrified, Orrin looked away. He was still very unhappy to have yet another doctor look him over, as it would usually end badly, one way or another. Orrin tried to answer his question, but it didn't go so well. "Mm-mh hm-mdmm mh-hth hckmff..."
