My dad's a complete homophobe, but I don't think my mom would care that much. ^^; She's seen me borrow books from my friends titled "Boy meets Boy", and it didn't bother her at all. She think's it's odd, but not...evil like some around here believe. >>; *lives in the freakin' bible belt*

Ack, I live in the bible belt, too stressed I think people are a little more open here in Huntsville, though... there's actually a gay bar down here, and it hasn't been blown up by rednecks or anything yet, so that's probably a good sign.

Let's see... my dad doesn't know anything. He lives in another town, so I don't care either way. My mom is completely comfortable with it. She actually watched some of Gravitation and Gakuen Heaven. Sometimes she gives me that whole "I want grandchildren! scream " speech, but that's okay, she can just go depend on my brother or something.

My parents know and they're cool. They bought me FAKE vol. 7 - wrapped in plastic, M rating on the back and all - at a Barnes and Noble, and they didn't even blink. I wear my bright yellow, red lettering "I <3 Yaoi shirt" around them all the time, too, and they don't mind.

Are you kidding? They know that I am obssessed with Yaoi, but they have no idea what it means! I can tell that if they ever found out that it's boy-love, I'd never be able to go on the internet again! gonk
One time, I was watching Gravitation, and my stepdad suddenly decided to watch it with me. It was the first DVD, and when it got to the part when Yuki and Shuichi kissed for the first time, he got up and calmly walked out of the room. My mom told me later not to watch that kind of thing around him. sweatdrop

Well, I'm not sure about my mom, but my dad's is totally against it. But!! Since he can't stop me from buying them when I got to Borders and such, I believe he has given up. On the other hand, my sister reads it with me, and my brother tolerates it up to a certain point. XD Much fun!

My whole family knows i read/watch yaoi and shounen-ai! My dad knows and doesn't like it at all! But he als knows that there isn't anything he can do about it! The rest of my family is the same way they know they can't stop me so they just give in! They help pay for most of my manga and anime!
