Thane listened to the other and after he was finished he shook his head "sorry, I don't, male celestials are Sayako's department, she has had quite a few wanting to court her back in the day, she isn't anything special to look at, I mean, she is beautiful, a total looker, BUT she isn't THE most beautiful celestial out there" he said, silently thinking to himself how wrong that actually was, to him, she WAS the most beautiful but each to their own "but she has a good heart, a beautiful soul, a kind nature and is beautiful, she is what any normal man wants in a woman. However, these men realised it was no use pursuing her when she learnt her heart laid with another and so they gave her up, unwillingly but they did....anyway, point to to my story is those men she knows off by heart and a few became close friends of hers, the ones who actually weren't just males who wanted her as some trophy mate, the ones who accepted her choice but still wished to be a fixture in her life and had good wholesome intentions became good, if not close, friends of hers.

So if you want to know about male friends of hers I suggest you look to her for answers, I know one or two but that is about it, I usually prefer to stay around her, if anyone comes or goes while I am there then so be it but I don't really take much notice, she, Calliope and Morpheus were really the only ones I hung around with and spent all my time with and even now I don't really care about hanging around anyone else other then her, no offence, it is just how I am, I prefer just keeping to myself and happiest when I am just with Sayako but if she sent anyone to talk to Odessa it would of been someone she approved of and a close friends of hers. As for the other stuff, I understand this can be frustrating but this is Odessa, from what her mother says, she just likes personal space and not have people trying to tell her how to live her life, she prefers her own way of living, she dances to the beat of her own drum and is why she moved out of home when she was an adolescence, her father is strict and every guy she MIGHT of had even the remotest of crushes on he wanted to know about them.

That went with practically everything, if he didn't approve of the guy or friends she hung out with he forbid her see them, he didn't let her make up her own mind, always treated her as if she was some dumb kid and so she moved out and so really, all I can suggest, from what I have heard from her mother, is that if you want to get back into her good books, don't question her way of life and don't enter her personal space if she doesn't want you to, she will cool off just wait and when she does come back don't go on about things, she has heard, she has mentally taken note and that is all you can do, she will react to it in her own time whatever time that is. It is horrible to wait like this but what more can you do? Odessa is just one of those Kitsu's who hate being told over and over again what to do or how their meant to act or who they can or can not see etc, Odessa is very independent and so all these things like asking her who she is seeing etc is entering more into her life then what she is willing to let you but I swear on my life, if she was with a male Celestial he won't be some cruel, evil guy who just wants to ruin everything you and her have done or hurt her personally in some way.

I am sorry if I can't be anymore help but she will come around sooner or later, her mother believes she will and I believe and trust her mother, it is just going to take some time but just not mention anything that may make her angry, talk about Oliver or the weather or something other then a subject you feel may make her upset with you" he said as he sat down and looked at the other, hating that he wasn't much help really but what else could he do or say? Odess was...well...Odessa.

"No, you can't not talk to her but as I said, just evade practically everything she doesn't want to hear, so I suggest not going back and talking about how this guy will probably be wrong for her or whatever other subject she doesn't wish to talk about, there are only a few trillion other subjects to talk about so pick one and go with it, that is really the only thing you can do and as for the other thing it isn't 'ill timed' for Odessa, yes there may be a slight worry but how hard is it to tell Oliver she has gone for a walk? Yes it is another lie but meh, we have come into this lying as it is, a small lie on where his mother actually is won't hurt him and besides that you will be there so it isn't like he isn't without a parent. In amongst all of this normalcy is what is needed and as much as you may hate to hear it, you and her are not together so life still does go on, it just has to be a little more careful these days thats all and besides, a date or two doesn't mean the end of the world and you two won't get together" he said hinting at something he and the others were planning but shuts up, he was going a little too far "that is, if you two ever do get over your fighting that is, it isn't hard to see there is some sort of spark between you" he said softly smiling at the other "and Odessa doesn't eat anything that can be caught around here apparently unless it is fish since she knows that may be some poor woodland creature or whatever that she just made friends with the other day.

So ham, pork, chicken and lamb she loves but only because they are not normal animals you would find living around us, they are not animals she usually befriends and sees being killed and used for meals on a daily basis so she can handle that BUT it has to be properly prepared, you couldn't bring a chicken home and have her eat the meat through the feathers and still have the head on it and all so it has to be properly done, so raw chicken is fine BUT it has to be like chicken pieces and no head at all etc, so other then fish, nothing really, if she can't get fish she will be happy with just an assortment of fruit. Though can you hold off on the hunting tonight? I can't say anything else, I have been sworn to secrecy but lets just say you and her will be fine for dinner tonight" he said winking at him "and you are welcome, I will be here any time you care to talk, just remember to pick some subject that won't make her upset, you are a smart guy, I am certain you can think of something other then what is causing you two to fight" he said, hoping Sayako and the others are alright without him, time out is fine and all but they have two hours or so to get ready and Electra was left doing his share, not that she minded but still.

"All I am going to say" Thane said as he started towards the entrance to his cave "is that it may look a little bleak now but it won't be always" he said as he sat at the entrance "and good, because you won't need to et tonight..." he said as he stopped himself, too much info was getting to be little too much "and great, good luck talking to Sayako and with that we are done right? Good, have a safe trip seeing Sayako, I need to get going" he said as he gestured for Gersif to leave "my apologies but running late and all so I have to leave" he said as he needed to get a message to Sayako before he found her and ruined their plan.

Thane had waited till the other had gone before waiting inside for a little bit and mentally called Dante to him.

"You called?" He asked as he walked in moments later "you realise you could of just come got me, I was just over by the lake getting a drink" he said as the blood red kitsu walked in and sat down beside him "now what is it that you wanted?"

"I need to pick something up, go to Sayako and tell her that Gersif is on his way to see her please, she should be past the caves so it was safe but just just go tell her to get back home."

Dante nodded "of course, talk to you soon" he said as he left to go quickly to see Sayako "though" he said as he turned around and stopped him "one question, why didn't you tell him about Orion? You know him pretty well considering he is your brother."

"No wonder you were close by, you had been listening in!" He said glaring at him before sighing.

"I have to, why do you think I am so good in this little network of ours? I am the only one who can pull off listening in as if I was just being natrual, no one ever guesses I am listening in, I am just THAT good" he said grining at the other.


"Alright, fair point and to answer your question, it is because he IS my brother which is why I didn't, first I come in and help monitor Oliver, a Kitsu who, with Sayako, will make or break his dreams of becoming a father and now my own brother is moving in on the girl he likes? Yeeeah, I think I will leave that out, it is better that I do that and let Sayako explain then let him see my family as a bad lot, besides that, Sayako explains things better then I do."

"And if she mentions Orion is your brother?"

"She won't, Sayako will only mention it IF she has to and I can't really see this as being a situation where she has to" he said, silently hoping he was right "now go, you are losing time!"

"Of course, later!" He said as he flew out of the cave and off to see Sayako.

Sayako came running up ten minutes later and took a deep breath to calm herself, thanks to Dante she would have been back here in time had Dante not decided to tell her what Thane said whilst trying to eat the food, why did Thane trust him when he knew food was around? Had it not been for Lenore making extra the dinner would of been ruined "hi" she said as she had composed herself "what are you doing here? I thought you would be with Odessa" she said as she sat down beside him.

Sayako nodded "I do, I had asked him to keep an eye on you and Odessa but apparently that was easier said then done in his case" she said with a sigh, having heard all the details after he had come back, could he not just try and date every girl he sees? He was SO not like his brother "his name is Orion, he was one wishing to court me, stuff happened, he learnt my heart lied with someone else so he gave up but he had good intentions as to why he wished to date me and so, whilst he accepted my heart laid else where he still wished to be a fixture in my life and he and I have been good friends ever since. He is a good hearted guy, sensitive. polite, caring, kind, a gentleman, romantic, trustworthy, he has his flaws but he would be a good mate one day for some lucky lady, he truly is a sweetheart" she said, thinking about him, if it wasn't for the fact her heart belonged to Thane he would of been the one she would have picked out of all the other guys, he was such fun to be around.

"I apologise but I just wanted to know you two were having fun that was all, I guess it was wrong of me but I also was having Olivers best interests at heart, if you two can't get along at least then it means I may not be able to trust Oliver to be with you" she said, knowing she would have to explain to Oliver why but meh, important thing was he and she got along together so she had to keep an eye on them at all times.

Sayako just looked at the male in disbelief, did he honestly think this was all her doing? She was really THAT underhanded to send a guy to to 'steal' Odessa away from him? A small part of her liked that idea, making her seem like some cunning b***h did seem like fun but really, she was far from it and he was way off the mark "getting your wires crossed much?" She called after him "has anyone ever told you not to jump to conclusions? It isn't good to assume things, I NEVER said anything about him being her new boyfriend, I NEVER said he was going to be Oliver's new father and I NEVER said that Orion was a substitute. Yes Orion now has a date with Odessa but that was his and her own doing, I don't own him, I just told him to keep an eye out for you two since you two NEED to get along for Olivers sake, I NEVER told him he should go jump into bed with her the first moment he gets! Granted he IS too much of a gentleman to do that but still, my point is, you are getting all worked up over whatever fantasy situation you have going on in your head and making me out to be some underhanded b***h and quite frankly I not only find offence in that but if that is really how low you think of me maybe I should rule you out altogether of being a candidate for Olivers father and I will just make something up to tell Oliver as to why you and Odessa are no longer together."

Sayako got up and walked past Gersif slowly, she couldn't be bothered talking to him anymore since apparently whatever she said he wouldn't listen to her, after all, she was just some cunning b***h and making up his own conclusions was SO much better "maybe Odessa was right to accept this date with Orion, it seems you have this all sorted out so why don't I leave you with your doubts and worries and self satisfaction to know that you were 'right'? Because it is obvious I am not needed anymore so I will just let you go and wallow in doubt and misery while I go talk to Thane" she said rather irritably as she walked faster, maybe tonight was going to be the worst thing that they could do.
