Elkand looked at her and smiled " Its no big deal...we'll deal with this as it comes." he said and stood up holding his head. He looked at her his vision blurred and his eyes now physically showing the immense darkness inside of him. He smiled " Fates a strange and cruel thing..lets just hope a solution presents itself...now lets go home..I feel so tired.." he said and yawned loudly. He was still holding his head but acting semi normally.
She whined " But brother what's wrong with speeding it up..do you realize how boring it is down here!" she snapped " Stuck here with the queen of the damned faeries!" she said referring to her sister and snapped and the plain they stood on reverted back to its normal form which was actually more beautiful and peaceful than they made it out to be. The screaming stopped as their brothers and sisters appeared out of no where and stood around them. She calmed down and sat down crossing her arms puffing her cheeks " Fine....I give up you two always run everything." she said " You opposed me when I tried to freeze the planet. You opposed me when I tried to wake mom up from her slumber. You woke me up when I tried unleashing the full effects of my spell. You locked me in a cave when I tried to sacrifice yuor son. You opposed me when I wanted to get marri...." she raised a brow " What was I about to say?" he said and shook her head as she stood up " At least I sped it up and have drained enough of that witches magic to eventually break the seal placed on me and revive myself...then I get to watch the world destroyed!" she said and looked up to the sky and snapped her fingers turning the sky dark to at least appeal to her senses.

Larkanna's hair covered her face and expression of pure dread. Walking over to him, she put an arm under his own to keep him standing up straight. "I'd teleport us back, but I guess we'll have to ride that blasted bird of yours." She still couldn't believe that the darkness was worse, but it felt like a shadow looming over her, but she wouldn't let him give into it easily. Wyrm snarled as others did. Many moved a couple steps closer, wondering what their long dead king would have them do, but he shook his head and let out an earsplitting roar, "The fate of humankind was not placed upon your shoulders!" Turning and moving closer, he breathed spirit flames that were just as, if not more, powerful than his original flames. "Never again will you see the light of the mortal dawn!"

Elkand smiled " I suppose." he said and looked to the bird who came over and picked them up before it took off away from the graveyard and back home. It let them off before being sucked back into the ground. Elkand looked at her " Listen its fine I'll just go lie down and I'm sure I'll feel better later." he said and went inside on his own as he immediately went to the couch and laid down. He was breathing steadily...it didn't seem to effect him much but it was giving him a huge headache and he was tired...a lot more than he was earlier as he started to close his eyes and drift off to sleep as the mark on his hand started glowing red.
She rolled here eyes and laid back on the grass unafraid of her brother. She simply laughed " How foolish you are brother....whatever go away, I'll do what I please." she said 'I'll only say this once..I'm stronger than you brother..take your girlfriend and go away." she closed her eyes though she was still ready to act if she had to but at this point she wasn't worried and all she had to do was wait for the power she gathered to finish coming together so she could use it.

Larkanna watched him warily as he went inside, knowing that it would become the exact opposite. Following him in a few minutes later, she sat down on another couch just across from his, watching the symbol on his hand turn a dark red. She didn't know what to do. Now without any Wyrm to speak with, she simply closed her eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep. Wyrm did not move nor reply to her comment. She was only stronger because of all the energy she'd stolen from magical beings like witches and wizards over the years. That was why he'd been the supreme ruler of all dragons, why he was the first to be born. He wandered around nearby, with Icellia, always keeping a watchful eye on his sister just like Larkanna had told him to.(( Bah... brain dead and in need of sleep. Sorry for the lack of filling. ))

Elkand watched her fall asleep and smiled as he sat up. He looked at his dark red mark and sighed and then looked at his palm which had now shown the mark as well. He shook his head and closed his eyes falling asleep instantly however only beacuse he fell into the world inside his eyes...it was filled with shadow however these shadows were not empty...they contained images violent images of what would happen once it completely took over his mind and body as he fell into a deep nightmare that would last until morning.
The next morning however he screamed loudly and was soon running around trying to take care of everything. He hopped Larkanna would wake up soon beacuse he had some terrible news to tell her. It appeared Elkand had forgotten about the fact that every year he had to see his parents and they would usually participate in a wizardly game together however this time it was different...it was a couples game and somehow they were informed he had a partner...it was probably Alisters doing as she could not keep keep important info away from his parents depending on what they asked. He was getting dressed in his normal wizard attire and reciting spells and going over routes which ws all made harder due to the dog in his mind but he actually felt much better thanks to the little rest he got.
She continued to lay there for awhile as the time passed before she soon stood up. She stretched and yawned before looking at her hand feeling a little bit of energy restored. Spirits like her loved it when witches or wizards were foolish enough to feed their own magical energy into the air for them to take leaving themselves open for possession or allowing skilled enough spirits to revive themselves. Lujei was the one who introduced magic to mortals in the first place and created most of the spells with the help of her ever vigilante brother's idea's of course who she was aware was keeping his eye on her in case she pulled something. She smiled in his direction and then walked off over the hills and out of his sight and vanished.

Larkanna opened an amber eye when he screamed as he woke up. She'd expected as much from last night's encounter. Sitting up and stretching, she watched as he dashed around trying to make the house look presentable. Confusion was apparent on her face as she stood and said, "Well, good morning sunshine." Nodding with an impressed raise of an eyebrow, she added, "I think my womanly cleaning skills finally caught on in this house."

Elkand stopped when he heard her speak and made his way over to her and pulled her up hurriedly "Yes yes yes...now hurry up and change yuor cloths...my parents are coming over!" he said " Then we have to practice practice practice!" he sand and pushed her in the direction of her room and went back to cleaning in a hurry. He wanted his home to look nice for his parents and didn't want to disappoint them or see them disappointed so he was gonna make sure things were perfect. He neglected to explain to her what was exactly going on but he would when he could.

Larkanna did as he said after giving him a quizical glance before hurrying up the stairs. Entering the room, she sighed tiredly, having constantly woken up due to his nightmares. Making sure that she looked extremely clean and well kept, she chose her usual attire of tunics and pants. Allowing her fire colored hair to cascade around her shoulders, she walked back downstairs. "The only words I got out of you before was something about your parents coming over and practicing.... May I ask why?"

Elkand looked at her as he was catching his breath. He nodded ' Right...its about this time every year where we wizards have a large get together where we can catch up on old times and learn new things." he said " See people who you wouldn't see in years so really its a grand reunion...however this meeting takes place outside the Tower of Eve." he said " And at some point we go inside the tower with out partners to compete in a grand race to the top of the tower and well my mother started the whole thing so its a very tough and strange game so we need to practice use of spells so we don't tire ourselves out." he said " This year I have to work with you so we'll have to practice...and since my mother started it and created it..you'll have to be at the top of yuor game otherwise you'll fall to one of her little pranks." he sat down on the couch and watched the door hoping they had a few more minutes or hours before his parents showed up. He sighed " And I can't disappoint my parents seeing as how their two of the most powerful beings alive." he said to himself.

Larkana listened intently, sitting down on the couch next to him. Crossing her legs, one thing disturbed her. "What will your parents think when you show up with a witch for your partner?" She asked, her voice completely devoid of any emotion. "It is a wizarding tradition, after all... But since we have little choice in the matter, what are we going to practice?" She was going to do her best to impress his parents for his sake.

Elkand looked up when she asked what his parents would think about the fact his partner was a witch. He looked as if he had totally forgotten Larkanna was a witch and in a way he had forgotten what she was beacuse he usually only looked at witches and witches but to him Larkanna was more than just another witch and he hardly ever thought of that. He sighed "That's the least of your worries....I would suggest staying as close to me as possible and as far from my mother as possible beacuse she does have a thing for witches..and if anyone else has an issue with it then.,, " he said and sighed and looked at her " You know what I don't care they are just going to have to put up with it and if they wanna do something about it they are gonna have to deal with me." he said " We're gonna have to practice quite a bit of magic before the gathering but only the useful ones beacuse I doubt this mark will always turn green and we don't wanna become tired just after one spell." he said " We also need to brush up on riddles and rune making and sorting as well as being able to tell real from illusion." he said and sighed " I can't believe I forgot all about it!" he said starting to get a little stressed. He took a deep breath and leaned back " This is gonna be hard." he said and looked at her.

Larkanna flinched a little when she saw the look on his face. He had completely forgotten that she was a witch. Odd... She thought dismally. Leave it to her to bring back their differences and place them out in the middle of the table. Stretching her arms, she smiled a little, "Well, then we'll both give 'em hell if they try to do something about me." Putting her hands on her lap, she asked with a glint of humor in her eyes, "The sooner we get to working, the better."

Elkand nodded and stood up. He grabbed his staff from the table and looked at her " Then lets get started shall we?" he asked her as he walked out of the living room and into the hallway. He searched for the door again but this time he found it instantly as unlocked it and stepped through the door into that beautiful plain once again. This place was a very good place to practice music without damaging anything. He waited for her as he was ready to start practice he would start with beginner spells of course but they had to move up to mid level magic fast.

Larkanna followed him back onto the plain. She was instantly mesmerized again. This place would never cease to amaze her, and she knew it full well. Having researched almost every type of magic, she took a deep breath, opening her every sense to the magic that was in the air around her. "What's first on your list?"

Elkand nodded " A simple sustained levitation spell...I doubt it will be hard but its good to know we can." he said and sat down and started to focus enough magic to lift himself off the ground though he was waiting on her to join him. Since they were connected there was a chance they would have to do it at the same time otherwise it would become harder and harder to do it. He made sure to stay focused and not let the fact he was actually sort of scared get in his way. He wanted to make his parents proud and being the first to pass would help but in their state that would be nearly impossible.
