Alex closed his eyes and was about to let her leave before he lunged out quickly and grabbed her wrist but was still gentle. "I'm not saying that I regret it, Rose. Please, never think that, ever," he said in an amazingly gentle voice that once again, he'd never known since the first time they'd met. This was different, he finally realized, then the last time they met, or the time before. He was truly in love and he didn't feel that odd weight holding him down. He looked up at her again and sat up slowly gently pulling her down to the bed again so she was sitting feeling the need to kiss her again and just make sure she was real, but he wouldn't make her or tackle her on that. No. He wouldn't. He would behave and just lay there and do what Doc says.

"I didn't say that, or I didn't mean for it to come out that way if it did. I meant, I don't want you lost in this confusion with me. I would rather have you know who I was then love me and never knowing," he said just as gentle as he had before. He looked at her with loving eyes with his eyes being that violet color they had been when he'd saved her life. Just as gentle as he'd sat her down, he laid her down and got up on his knees looking down at her softly with a raised eyebrow in curiosity just watching her and not restraining her at all. Just watching her curiously.

"Good," he just simply said again before leaning down a little bit and kissed her again. It wasn't a long kiss nor a short one. Even in that short time he'd managed to put a large amount of passion behind it. He couldn't keep it up though, he was tired even he had to rest despite her being there soothing him immensely. He laid his head down on the pillow with a gentle sigh with his eyes falling shut finally unable to keep awake. The fearsome vampire let out an almost silent sigh and mutter quietly, "I love you Ambrosia." With that, he fell deep asleep.

Alex slept deeply not really moving other then to pull his leg up and wrap his arm around a pillow that his head rested on. He dreamed for the first time in forever about the possibilities if this cycle could be broken. After a while, he woke up again almost completely healed. His eyes slowly flickered open as he looked at her calmly with his violet eyes shinning again in the dawn's early light.

Alex looked at her and brushed her hair from her face before getting up. He walked over to his dresser and pulled out a long sleeve shirt, jeans, and boxers before looking at her seeing her only start to wake. He walked just outside of his room stripping quickly and making sure he would have at least his boxers on before she got up. He pulled on his pants but didn't button them or zip them closed as he walked back into his room tossing his clothes into a hamper and grabbing a few bandages wrapping the last of his wounds around his waist before closing his pants up with a small blush. He pulled on a tight black shirt that showed almost all his muscles through the cloth.

"They hurt, but its mostly healed other than my burns," he said calmly crawling on the bed over to her kissing her gently and quickly as just a morning kiss to maybe wake her up more. He got on his knees again and closed the curtains around the bed letting it incase her in a much more gentle, darker light. He laid on his back looking over at her softly with his dark violet eyes.

"I'll be fine, it'll take me one more day for this to completely heal, but I'll be all good," he said gently smiling. He rested his head down on the pillow again looking at her. He was relaxed and glad she was now as well with the light being covered and protecting them.
