Yukiko shook her head a little bit which seemed to only make her dizzier. "Ouch." She stood back up and her head was throbbing. She sneezed and rubbed her head.

"Eh hey you okay kitty cat?" Shin giving both yuki and alex a conserned look "Really though are either of you okay?" lex looked shaky and, yuki looked dizzy, nice two sick people, heh how fun.

Button edge out from under the bed, comando-style before standing up and looking at Shin. Then he began wagging his tail and giving him the mostcadpranle look he could.
"Oh, shut up. And yes, I'm fine. Swear," Alex sighed, running a hand through his hair. He then held out his hand formed his necklace in it, looking the tool over for a minute. "This thing is really. . .complicated."

"Aww cute puppy.." kneeling down and chuckling as he scooped up the little fur ball "Eh, alright lex..'liar'..." shin mumbled coughing and glancing back to the puppy as he spoke, smiling and just nuzzling the little dog "Complicated really? Come on now lex, this cant hardly be considered complicated" shin said a little sarcastically, yeah as if any thing had ever been easy when dealing with any of this stuff..complicated? Hah! The word was almost ironic.
That word shouldnt even apply, nope the word that fit was a bit more powerful then complicated.

"I heard that!" Alex snapped, throwing a pillow at Shin. If there was one thing about his powers that he liked it was when they unconsciously activated at the most convenient times. "Sheesh. Maybe I will make you his chew toy!" Button wagged his tail more and nuzzled Shin's hand back. Alex held his necklace in his hand, looking it over once before surrounding it in a barrier once again; may as well get it over with, right? At least he'd sleep easily.

"Ach! hey hey im sorry heh, its just true and you know it" shin laughing as he caught the pillow, tossing it back onto the bed as the puppy nuzzled him "So mean making me his chew toy, and...hey what are you doing lex?" noticing him laying with the necklace again, seriously he should start taking the thing away from him.

"Heh. You'll see," Alex said, smiling a little. There was just the smallest hint of sadness if one looked. The necklace surrounded itself with a blinding white light, its barrier growing restless. Alex winced and looked away from it, ignoring the fact that his energy was being quickly absorbed. After what felt like forever, everything stopped, and the necklace reappeared. At first, nothing was different. But then, with a smirk, Alex transformed his tool into its staff form. The staff was long, probably four feet long. At the end, it spiked, a golden ring an inch from the end. At the tip, a small blue crystal was held in the center of three short spikes, each arching over it like a cage.

Shin blinked rubbing his eyes a little bit at the sudden light "Okay I see, yeah it looks cooler but why do you have to keep messing with the thing..swear im going to take it from you lex" he smiled nervously, not quite getting the significance, okay so it looked cooler, a bit more personalized, but also kinda scary to..and tiring..."Seriously quit messing with the thing please?" petting and ruffling the puppys fur now as he held it, staying near to yuki in case she got a little more sick..maybe it was time for another one of those nurse visits for her.

"It wasn't designed for me to use. It technically doesn't listen to me as well as it should," Alex explained as he twirled the little staff; it was to much more convenient. It wasn't as large as the last one. When the thing was in his left hand, a wave of dizziness swept over him and he put a hand on his head. Then he fell over on his side and fought to stay awake; he knew he was tired, but he didn't expect to be this tired.

"Not designed for you to use? Then whats it designed for..Hey!" jumping a little bit as he watched alex flop over dizzily, great, just great, the guy looked like a boned fish.. "Ya know what, never mind I dont wanna know what its for..and I dont think itd ever listen to you fully, the things got a mind of its own right? Its not your fault it doesnt" glaring at the thing which had caused all the trouble, gods sometimes he just hated it, inanimate object as it was he hated it.
"I should go get the nurse..or something.." feeling more then a little worried as he watched alex, sure there was nothing they could do for him but maybe they could knock him out, stubborn idiot just refused to let go and pass out.

"It was designed for the person who made it. All I'm doing is improving it," Alex continued. He pushed himself up into a sitting position, shifting until he was comfortably laying in the bed. He then closed his eyes and allowed his body to rest, his staff letting off a faint glow as it returned to its simple necklace form.
Button wagged his tail lightly, gently licking Shin's hands.

"Yeah well by technicality lex, you are the person who made it, his reincarnation or some crap like that..." frowning a little bit "Besides, its for you isnt it? Thats why its stayed around and existed for so long..improving it is fine but not when you exhaust yourself" he retorted sighing as he watched lex close his eyes and finally relax if just a little bit.
Casting a smile at button "Okay dog, if you ever learn to talk youve gotta know two words.." laughing a little as he was licked, it tickled "Alex, baka...or better yet, stubborn brat, alex idiot? Hmm..three words may be a strech for you but how about alex, stubborn a**.." chuckling at the happy little puppy "And if you cant say alex, lex is allways a wonderful substitute, one less letter" totally grinning and more then ready to just snatch the stupid necklace away, having fun playing while alex was pretty much out of it, and drifting off.

Button let out a small bark in understanding, wagging his tail happily and continuing to lick Shin's hand; he'd go to his owner later. He liked being where he was!

Button let out a little rumble of noises, as if trying to speak and say "Yes, I can". He also began gnawing on Shin's hand again, finally starting to squirm and trying to lick Yukiko.
