"And that partner of his... that black cat... I wasn't allowed anywhere near the clinic, so I didn't get to see them... was he really that big? And where in the hell did he come from? Out of the blue like that... I never knew Talesian had a special friend... mate... whatever..." sighs the neko sadly.

Corby grins at him. "A perfect apprentice... ye safeguard yer teacher's well being so skillfully.. I didn't mean to sound as if I was prying, Kero. It's just I've known him for so long... He practically raised my sister and I, but we were a couple of street rats, I fear and far older than you are now when he took us on. He polished us up and set us on the straight and narrow. I owe him so much and well... I worry about him sometimes. Take good care of him for me... would ye? He's something special... something different."

"Thanks, kid... well... this lesson took three times longer than usual... maybe four. Good thing I have no duties today. See you later, Kero. I won't be able to do anything tomorrow. I'm on duty in the confessor's office. So the day after, right? Up on the hill, unless you want it somewhere else.." says Corby turning to leave.

"Not sure how I can use that in my work at the temple, but heck... I'm willing to learn." laughs the neko waving a fond farewell as he walks jauntily back up towards the temple hill.

*Kero smiles...imitation is always handy...and he goes inside, where he starts to cough a little*

**honey and lemon... in tea or alone... best cure I've found so far... hot tea really helps if it's really painful**
Tam immediately ushers him into the kitchen away from Fortuny and the cubs. "Ye were swimming... in this weather?"

Tam rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "You sit right there while I make you some tea. Then you will tell me what really happened. And what is that?" he asks as Kero brings out the gem and sits it on the table.

"Oh, I do not doubt ye waded in... to break wind though.. not to say hi... Ye do that from the shore all the time, so what did he do to tick ye off like that." laughs the bard putting the kettle on the fire and lifting down his special tea chest. He rummages around in it for some camomile and puts it to steep.

"He what?" laughs Tam pouring a dollop of honey and some lemon juice into the mug. Then once the tea is hot he pours that into the mug as well..
"Here you go... I made a full pot. Drink all you want. If it makes you sleepy, go to bed. Probably the best thing for someone coming down with a cold anyway."
