Shadow rubbed his eyes. They were burning and felt like they were on fire. Actually, his whole body felt like it was on fire. He touched his arm and it was warm. He smiled. there was a new force with in him, and every minute, on the minute, there was a thu-thump inside his chest. His smile grew into a grin. He then looked at Arious who was admiring him.

"I think I did well, if I don't say so for myself. I have made you a heart out of magic. It beats only once a minute. However, you now can bleed, so don't get yourself cut up. By the way, you are going to have to eat and sleep. It isn't necessary, but you will feel more energized when you do. Here." Arious swirled up a pool of magic that showed Shadow his reflection.

Shadow stared at himself. No longer was he completely a Shadow. He saw pale skin in place of what used to be all black shadow. Then he noticed that he actually had red eyes, not glowing orbs that used to be there. He smiled as he brushed back his new sleek black hair. "Interesting. Thank you Arious. I am sure that I shall enjoy this as much as you enjoy your magic." But when shadow looked up, he saw that Arious was gone. Shadow smiled one last time at himself before looking for Lisaya. He couldn't wait to see her reaction.

Lisaya sighed and decided that it would be best to leave Silver at peace. She saw Arious walking silently towards her. I'm glad he has decided to make up. I can't stand it when Silver isn't her perky self... She was beginning to walk back to camp when she felt her Shadow quiver. "Shadow is that you?"

Arious walked toward Silver. He was trying his best to be quiet, but her ears would probably catch his casual gait. He touched her shoulder and whispered... "I want to apologize... Will you hear me out?"

Arious sighed as he sat down next to her. "I thought I could handle it... control it. I have never given up on something... It was my pride... I didn't want to look weak in front of you.. that I, Arious, the powerful mage, could not handle elvish magic..." He said dissappointed in himself.. then he added quietly, "And I didn't want to disrespect you and reject the gift you gave me. I didn't want to hurt you.." He trailed off. "I'm sorry.. I must sound pathetic.." Arious got up disgusted in himself. He turned to leave...

Lisaya was about to turn around when she felt two strong arms lift her up. She was about to yell at Helios when she saw someone else..."Shad- no wait- Link? Who....?" She was confused. He wore all black like Shadow, but he was warm and had pale skin. Then she argued that Link had blue eyes... She shook her head trying to focus.

He smiled; she didn't recognize him. "It's me Lisaya... Shadow."

"Sha-adow? But you... look different... you look-"

"Human?" He chuckled. "Maybe because I am. A little." He took her hand and pressed it against his chest, waiting for his new heart to beat. Lisaya jumped in his arms shocked... then her face turned to one of displeasure. Shocked, Shadow asked, "What's wrong?"

"Was this Arious's idea? Or yours? I mean... I didn't mind when you were a Shadow.... But-"

He cut her worries off with a brisk kiss. "I assure... it was my idea. Besides. Your brother is happy to have his magic back. I talked to the dark god about a debt he needed to pay off... and we made a deal. No big deal really."

"Hmm.. alright love. I will let you know next time, even if I just poke myself." He laughed and drew her into a hug. "I love you. Can I give you something?" He was fingering a small box in his pocket.... "I was going to give it to you earlier... but eh.. I got caught up AND you distracted me with an apple..." His face turned serious as he wiped away a small tear off of her face.


"NO big deal??? You made a deal with the god of the underworld shadow!" She sighed and smiled. "However... it is nice to have a body warm me up." She fluttered her eye lashes and threw her arms around her neck. "I don't need a horse with you around... I am afraid you won't ever let my feet touch the ground again."

Shadow smiled and gave her anther kiss. She always knows how to make me smile... Helios doesn't stand a chance now... "I shall never let your feet touch the ground again, if that is what you wish, my love."

Arious smiled then got done on one knee. "I was just wondering.. Might you want to spend the rest of your life with this foolish mage who loves you?" He slowly opened the box, revealing a silver ring. It was entwined with leaves made out of emerald jewels and in the center was Violet rose that was dabbed with what looked like dew drops make out of diamonds. It sparkled, even with out the sun shining on it.


Lisaya smiled. "I don't mind walking." She slid gracefully down to her feet and looked Shadow in his eyes. "You are the one that looks handsome."

Shadow grinned. "And you look more lovely then a rose." He grabbed her hand and kissed it. "I love you."

Helios paced by the lake. He saw Silver and Arious on the lake side. He grinned knowing exactly what Arious was doing. He had seen him foraging the ring earlier before he took over Elenacia. He smiled. Soon my love... you will say yes when I ask you that question...

((Helios is such a creeper. XD but it just makes all the funnier!!! you feeling better love?))

Arious smiled "I'm glad you own me... I think Lisaya would be happy to get a rascal like me off her hands." He kissed her and swept her off her feet as he got up. "Shall we tell my sister and the others?"

Lisaya smiled and then whispered. "I love you too, no matter what you look like, or even what you are. Remember that." After she said this, she leaned up on her tippie toes and pecked a sweet kiss on his lips. "I have to go... I would welcome you to join us.. but.. I don't think you would be very welcome considering Helios and Vaati.. and Silver..." Lisaya smiled as she took a step back.

Shadow sighed. "Even if I told you I would be on my best behavior... I can still almost guarantee a fight would break out. I shall see you later my love. But first..." Shadow reached around her neck and tied a golden chain necklace. He flipped her hair out of the way then kissed her. This is a sign of my love. On the chain was a single stone that teal color, just like her magic. She smiled at him and nodded her thanks. Shadow was happy that she liked it and let her return to camp. He jumped into her shadow, content.

Helios smiled when he saw Lisaya returning to the camp. He had made a small pendant for her awhile ago and kept it in his pocket. I think now would be a great time to give it to her. He thought to himself. He reached down into his pocket and found nothing there. Damn! Where did it go?He continued searching for it until he noticed Lisaya draw closer. Around her neck hung the turquoise pendant he planned to give to her. His anger rose, realizing what had happened. Damn that Shadow! He must have took when we were sleeping together last night! And looks like he gave it to her instead!!! DAMN HIM! He always ruins my plans! However, he didn't have time to think about that. He saw Arious carrying a happy Silver toward them and decided that he must continue the masquerade. For now... He would get his revenge on Shadow later. He just wished Ganon would hurry up and keep his part of the deal.

Lisaya sat down, hungry. She and Silver were supposed to golook for breakfast... but it was obvious they got side tracked. She walked through camp and looked around. She saw Sora and Taka. Sora was looking a little sown, and she decided it might be a good idea to cheer him up. She realized that they were never properly introduced. Lisaya walked past Helios, not even noticing that he asked how her food gathering went.

Helios was curious at what Lisaya had been doing that whole time. He also wanted to know where she got her new necklace from. "Lisaya, did you find anything to eat? Silver looks like she got a a bit side tracked..." Helios smiled then saw that Lisaya didn't even hear him. She was walking determined toward the others. He sighed. Looks like I shall have to cook something... Helios beckoned objects forward with his magic and ended up with a small pile of sticks in front of him, an old pot, and some veggies and oats from a house on the other side of the lake. He lit the stick on fire and began cooking a stew. He was sure everyone would like a hot bowl to warm up the chilly morning.

Lisaya stopped in front of Sora and Taka. "I hope I am not intruding, but I still don't know you. My name is Lisaya of Elenacia. I am glad to make your acquaintance." She curtsied and a couple of golden curls fell in front of her face. Brushing them back, she smiled.

(I would be too... O.o)

Taka stood up and bowed. "I'm Taka from Kakariko Village. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. He smiled at Lisaya.

Sora did the same as Taka. "I'm Sora from the Lost Woods." He gave a small grin. It seemed to be all he could manage.

"No, no! When you meet a lady, you always smile and say 'It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.' I mean, have some manners!" Taka yelled with the slightest hint of sarcasm.

Sora couldn't help breaking into a smile. He rolled his eyes and yelled back "Well excuuuuse me, princess, for growing up isolated from civilization!" (I am so sorry, but I just had to! XD)

"That's it! Have at you!" Taka tackled Sora to the ground, and they started a mild fist fight, completely forgetting Lisaya was standing right there.

( If I talk about it, please hear me out...I'm not trying to bug. Talking helps. I think he's sweet at the end. It made me CCRRRRYYY!!!! >< I wish I could have seen the play! I've only seen the movie D: )

Silver smiled as she kissed him. He looked so bright when he was happy. Her ears perked up as she heard that he made Shadow human. "Is that even possible?" She asked as she looked at him. It was strange, hearing a shadow become partially human. But it would give chance for Lisaya to love someone normal. And it did show that Shadow did care. And if he did care, then she could deal with it. "Shadows not bad...if he loves her truly...and he did that...then he must really love..." She said. And I still need to do my experiment...I must tell the others that the only way to save Hyrule was through the Triforce...the golden power...She thought to herself. "You're not going to put me down are you?" She asked giggling.
