Tam nods slowly then looks at his twins, concern plain on her face.

Bez sighs. "I'll have Emnast watch them up at his cave. We can fix it up with a cold box for milk and all. He doesn't really need to use a bottle if he doesn't mind the mess. Though that will be wasting a lot of milk." He catches an odd look from Tam and flashes him a tight grin.

"In the shapes they are presently, they cannot only take care of the physical need of elimination on their own, they can and have drank from a dish... I know, I tried it. Though they both seemed to think it was easier to eat from inside the bowl than outside of it."

Tam rolls his eyes and sighs. Having the twins feed themselves seems nice and all, but he was still stuck as a lion, for many months to come, for at least a year, because if he shifted back, they'd do the same.

Bez interrupts quickly jumping to his feet. "Kero, I know yer eager to get his show on the road... but I'd rather not have the little ones exposed to his pain. If he loses control over his shields, they'll get hit with if full force. Let's make sure they are settled in and that Em doesn't mind playing nurse made."

Bez shifts form and places milk and some essentials into a back pack, then he gathers up the twins and puts them into a large basket, suddenly he looks back at Kero.

"Excuse me, Kerkobian... I hate to interrupt, but ye can reach yer brother, right? Could ye call him down, Carrying them up there will be easier, iffin I have another set of hands... er paws... to help."

After a wait of nearly an hour, Bez returns, carefully tapping Kero on the shoulder to let him know that everything was set.

Tam looks his old friend in the eye and bows his head, putting his body into his hands.

Perhaps it is a good thing Talesian cannot speak, or his cries would have resounded clear up to Emnast's caverns. Instead he simply holds as still as he possibly can, relying on Bez to control the rest of his reflexive jerks and shudders, tears running down his cheeks, silently praying that what they do will take.

Tam nods and embraces all three lions 'T... Thank you..." he whispers in a low hoarse gasp.

Bez nods his agreement, bowing low to three lions. "Just hearing that much sounds heavenly to my ears. We communicate well mind to mind. It is our natural form of doing so, true, but I have learned that sometimes emotions get in the way of the words we truly need to say. It is hellishly hard to communicate the fact that although we may be angry and still think we are in the right, we wish to apologize and seek peace between us."

Tam rolls her eyes and nods emphatically, leaning up against him, and the tiny group gets a feeling of an immense passage of time and sorrow, of loneliness and desperate need... followed in turn by a sense of peace that Kero understands only all too well. "Together.... now...." whispers Tam nuzzling her mate. Then she staggers a bit and blinks in tired confusion.

"You should be in bed..." scolds Bez fondly.

Tam nods and leaning forward, licks his fingers in gratitude. Bez urges her back to bed and tells her he is going for the girls.

"Hopefully they won't have worn out their welcome with Em. He was really happy to be able to do this. But then he's rarely taken care of more than one of them at a time."
