"He was eyeing some new toy train while we were out about yesterday..." Van said as he came upstairs. "Unburnt dinner's ready if anyone's hungry." he said before getting down on his knees to look under Larai's bed. "Want to come down and join us, or should I have room service bring a plate up for you to enjoy under there?" he joked with a smile.

Larai giggled, crawling out from under the bed so she could go eat with the others. "I'll eat with you, if you don't mind." she said timidly.

Larai looked away in shame as she said, "I was stupid. Aren't you ashamed of me? Why would you want to look at me all that much after what I pulled?"

"Now you're just being silly. Just because you did something wrong doesn't mean we hate you." Van said with a warm smile as he stopped to kneel down to Larai's level to talk. "If that were true, we would've disowned your brother by now." he said with a chuckle.

"I promise." Van said with a warm smile as he put a hand on her head. "Now come on, of all the punishments in the world, going to bed without dinner is not one I plan on using." he said standing back up.

Larai smiled once again and hugged her father once she was up as well.
Mala chuckled and went on ahead. "I'll see you two at the dinner table~"

((Miss me? Sorry, I got hooked on my cousin's Harvest Moon game. For a farming simulation, those things are addicting!))
Van smiled as he kissed Larai on the top of the head before leading the way downstairs and to the dinner table.

{Don't worry, I've had the same problem. I've been sneaking back and forth to play Animal Parade constantly. :3}
Mala was already sitting at the dinner table, patiently waiting for the food to be served.
Larai sat down at the table as well, looking forward to getting a decent meal in her stomach.

Larai couldn't help but smile. She was surprised that her father would let her have desert after all that happened.

"No, I understand. For all of our sakes, they should go to bed with a clear head." Mala whispered back, smiling at Van. "As for Larai...I don't know what to do with her. It almost seems like she's punishing herself enough as it is."
