"I wonder what made him check in like that. I know he's been here before, in person, just over a month ago, so he knows he can enter the realm." grumbles Tam testily. "Kero said he saw a funny snake at his coming of age party."

Tam chuckles sourly. "Ah well, I may be the messenger of one, but I don't begin to say I understand the ways of the divines. And if Uncle Jor wishes to show his face, he will... whether we want him to or not... But it does make one wonder, what was it that caught his ear this time... Kero's ascension or your additions?"

Tam pours two large bowls of milk, lacing one heavily with cream and carries them back into the living room, putting the doctored one in front of Fortuny.

"Before ye yell, ye need to celebrate, too, ye know. Ye did excellent work... Yer children were born healthy, but that's not the only reason why. Ye've been through so much this past month, I don't know how ye managed to stay sane through some of it, but ye did... and knowing ye... despite all that, ye were up each time they nursed last night marveling over every little claw and stubby toe... And ye went through it all without biting off Hope's head. I'm proud of ye, Lady Fortuny, ye give me hope for my own future."

Tam smiles and heads back to the kitchen to help clean up, reminding Kero that Corby should be dropping by and that they have been cancelling his lessons far too often of late. "If I know him, he's chafing at the bit and pulling his hair out...." says the bard with a thin smile. Sure enough a familiar knocking,(Corby never seems to simply knock it always has a rhythm to it) sounds at the door a few minutes later.

Tam frowns at him. "Whatever for?" the bard asks puzzled. "Why not just walk with him to there, if that's where ye want to have it? And why use my voice? That was rather rude. I would never just shout at someone through a door and you know it. Now he's going to be worried about me all morning."

Tam waves him along, with a sour laugh. "As if there's nobody up at the temple who doesn't already know. Shar is one of the biggest gossips up there. She spreads nothing foul... only the fair, but if it's news, she's bound to have told someone, who told someone else... who did much the same... And as for the village, well we both know Estelle is cut from the same cloth."

"Well," laughs Tam with a shake of the head. "Ye better get going. He's a fairly fast runner. But then, most cats are. He's probably halfway there already."


**ha, he's nowhere near that fast, but Tam is rubbing it in...**

He is brought back to the present by a tail slap which sends a small amount of water towards his face.

"Ye know, sonny, iffin yer going to call for someone, ye could at least stay awake so as to say hello when they show up... I've been sitting here for the better part of fifteen minutes." grumbles the ancient gar.
