*Kero grumbles...and curls up...promising very dire retribution on Em next time he sees him....and he has plans forming already...for now, though, he simply rests his eyes, letting the two sleep against him*

Resting one's eyes has a way of easing over into true sleep when one is on the downside of an emotionally trying event. Leaning up against two small purring furnaces does help either. So when Kero finds himself being hauled forth by the scruff at an indeterminate time later, , it is a rude awakening. Tam pulls him out and sets him on the floor before him with a frown.
Question marks float through his mind and she turns to pull forth her twins. She is curious as to why he has gone so far in his efforts to watch over the girls.
"Now that's what I call really getting into one's work." rumbles Bez from the doorway. He pads his way in while Tam takes the girls to the box and curls up before the fireplace. "I'm curious. How in the world did ye get yerself penned up in there with them?" He asks with a laugh, cocking one large black brow at the cub.

*Kero sighs, flinging his mind out to both of them*
I was simply being nice....the two were getting fussy, and Em doesn't know their cries. I deaged to ask them, and stayed that way for a little bit until I could get them settled down for a nap. Then my big brother, who is in for it, left me in there, claiming I looked too cute to take out. I refuse to transform where I might hurt your children, and the same goes for teleportation...what if one of them saw me and imitated me? So I was stuck, and these two purr machines leaning against me didn't help the fact either. And while I appreciate the removal service, Talesian...grab my scruff again, and there will be trouble. That hurts, Tam. A lot.

**actually iffin he's a cub right now... grabbing the scruff shouldn't hurt,,, it is a way to calm and sooth a cub... actually releases endorphins into the cub's system, putting him or her into a relaxed state...**
The white lioness comes over with one of the girls and puts her back into the pen, then reaches down and gives him a firm lick. Laughter in her eyes shows she thinks this is very comical. Then she goes back for the other twin.
Bez chuckles, a low soft humorous rumble, deep in his chest. "Don't think she's very worried about ye there. Why don't ye shift back now and save yerself the indignity, besides... I'd like to talk to ye and well... having a mature conversation with someone the size of my big left toe kind of takes away the intensity of the moment... ye know."

*Kero nods...waits until the girls are involved in their games...and shifts, growing at an extended rate, until he is the familiar lion, black as night*
What's up?

Bez nods a greeting to an equal and looks at Tam who joins them by the fire. "Tam still can't talk, but it is not because of his emotional state. He seems to have strained something seriously. He also has trouble using send in the form of words or precise communication. Emotional states and broad concepts seem to come through alright, but he says his headaches are interfering with concentration. He managed to write that much before his claw started hurting... of course that was at the tail end of things..."
Tam sighs and rests his head on his paws looking at Kero with hope in his eyes.

I have some of my power back...do you want me to see what ails you, Sira?

The lioness nods eagerly, but when Kero tries to examine her physically he sees so much redness and swelling, both in the vocal chords as well as the throat, he's not sure what the problem is.

*So he simply detaches his mind from his body, and dives in, seeking to divine what exactly is wrong with her*

The anatomy is almost the same as a humans. The few discrepancies seem to lie in the area of structural, rather than physiological components. As he examines the vocal chords it is all he can do to keep from wincing. There is a nasty tear, repairable from all appearance, but whatever is done will change the quality of Tam's voice forever, as scar tissue will no doubt linger for the rest of his life. Not entirely a bad thing, but only time would tell if he sustain a note or do anything more than speak in short brief spurts.

*Kero nods, and pulls out, looking at Tam*

Tam's hopeful expression fades as she nods her understanding.
Bez nuzzles her in encouragement. "Wil Ai be able to sing? Talk?"

*Kero shrugs*
I'll do my best to prevent....scar....tissue....*Headsmack*
Hopian, hear now my plea Opal's child, come to me...and bring our Honorable brother, and our frigid sister....
*Kero looks at Tam*
I have an idea...it might work....

Tam lifts her head eager to hear his idea. Bez shifts closer, giving her support, both physical and emotional, leaning against her and resting his head on her shoulder.
