Kitten-Tora drakokatze Kitten-Tora drakokatze I've decided in addition to doing the daily themes, I'm going to try and create a nice piece of art a week ^_^ going to find a good tutorial, one each week, and then work the whole week on that one aspect that it covers ^_^ and lets see how long I can do that >_>;;;;; sooooo, if anyone has any good tutorials covering pretty much any aspect of things, I'd appreciate a recommendation xd I started up a pretty decent collection of resources/tutorials a long while back. You might be able to find something in all of that. CLICK ME!thanks~~ I have some in my DA, but this is awesome *clicks through the add add add buttons xd * LOL, glad to be of help. Me too... When that big thing with many fish and a bucket in it came I thought they were real. I just though "Nooo! Poor goldfishes!" But then I figured they weren't real after all... -___-;

dark pillow Me too... When that big thing with many fish and a bucket in it came I thought they were real. I just though "Nooo! Poor goldfishes!" But then I figured they weren't real after all... -___-; nope, they were real >_< the density of the shadow is what convinced me of this, you wouldn't have that if he just had paintings. plus when he had that one smaller one in a box and was pouring the lacquer or whatnot on it crying

Actually not a living goldfish was used I believe. He used paint and resin, and I believe that's all he did use. Though not fully sure, I'll have to do some research and find the original source and whatnot. @Pillow: It is amazing what can be made right? I would love to know as well. EDIT: Here's a quote from the ICN site that gave news about this mans work. "His unique style of painting uses acrylic on clear resin which is poured into containers, resulting in a three-dimensional appearance and lifelike vitality."

They really did look real, but if that was the case he would have to part them up before putting the lacquer on them. :I Besides, I think the paint will make shadow as long as it isn't transparent, like the lacquer-thingy is... Like, um, if you imagine a blob of paint floating in the air it would cast shadows, right? >.<; Sorry for weird explaining... If they really were real goldfish, how could that video be called "goldfish salvation"? D:

But just so you know, I refuse to have any sympathy for people who can't make the deadline (Well, for a little while...My sympathetic soul will return after I feel better)....I feel AWFUL, and I'm still forcing myself to do this...
By the way, I have past a 100 degree temperature, so I mean it when I say I'm sick, lol! My entire body is shaking. sad
