She looks up at him and begins to cry. She had half convinced herself he never loved her and now she is saddened to think she had ever doubted him. Embracing him in her wings she holdsm close and cries her eyes out.

He too holds her close, crying out his eyes as he intertwines his tail with hers.
"Never again. Never never never. I am staying here for all of time now. I won't leave you ever again, my beloved. Never."

Igniska blinks away her tears and smiles sheepishly at him. "I'm sorry I got so mad at you... but I missed you so much." she murmurs worriedly. "You aren't very mad at me are you>"

Luciel shook his head, nuzzling the one he loved with such passion that even she, a dragon born of the element of passion, was amazed. He even tried to kiss her, though that ended in a comedic failure. When he finally was done hugging and nuzzling her, he arose and went into her...their cavern, and looked at the gemstone. Using some unknown power, he managed to repair it, and began putting her things away again, tearing up her note in front of her eyes, a symbol that he would never leave, no matter what. Then, with that done, he came over and hugged her again.
"I am not going to leave you here alone ever again. Not even to hunt. Unless you are hunting, I am not hunting. I am so sorry I left you here for so long, Iggy. Please forgive me. I love you."

Suddenly she begins to laugh, albeit raggedly. "Luciel... don't make promises ye cannot keep... or should not keep for that matter. Heavens, if ye hang on me like that 24/7, I'm liable to do ye in. I love you, truly I do, but there are times when I do like being alone... just not all the time. Let's just agree not to go anywhere for an extended time without taking the other with." she replies, gently touching his face with her claws. She tries to wipe the tears from his cheeks, but he ducks her ministrations and sighs.
"I'm not a child, Iggie."

Indeed he isn't, but he is prone to be childishly silly. And that is what he does, pretending to wipe his tears away, then pouncing Igniska and tickling her in all her ticklish spots, nuzzling her close and trying comedically again to claim a kiss from her.

She retaliates and soon takes the upper hand. She is the larger still, but it is obvious he's gaining on her. He's put on a few pounds and a bit of wing span over his long hiatus.
"Well, this explains why ye never showed up fer dinner." drawls a familiar voice from the entrance of the cave. "When did you get back, Luciel?"

Luciel and Igniska both scramble up, the one blushing furnace red and the other pure copper.

Coriander stands there looking a bit struck, all those words strung together so quickly it takes her a bit of time to figure it out. Finally she shakes her head with a soft amused laugh. "And I bet yer starved, aren't you? After such a long flight? And from the looks of things, you didn't even stop to hunt on the way... right? Well, we have plenty left over... Iffin ye want to come over that is..." Her amused smile says she'd understand if they say no to her offer, but she's really quite curious. She knows for a fact that Igniska was really angry at him for some time now and worried to death as well. That they are getting along so famously means he had to have entered with an iron clad alibi or some massive take me back gifting.

Luciel nuzzles his new/old girlfriend, trying again, quite comedically, to kiss her on the mouth. Of course, this sets Coriander to laughing, which makes them all laugh, which makes him try to do it once more. This time, he succeeds....admirably.

Igniska's eyes grow round as saucers and she blushes a deep deep red, glowing form the inside out, it seems. She gently pushes him away and touches his face. "Ummm, Luciel.... maybe we should eat first then.... ummm... well... ye know what..."
Cory chuckles wickedly. "Oh, he's not for eating... that one. He's for making up for lost time.... But dinner is getting cold, what's left of it, that is. Ash was hungry..."
*man, I'm at a loss on what to name the new beau... just threw that out there as a nickname... got any ideas?**

Luciel smiles, and kisses Igniska once again, nuzzling her close, until a new voice comes through the cave.
"Cory, where'd you get to? And where was Iggyniska all this time? Have you two just been hanging around in here for two hours? I swear, it's enough to drive a male faint with..."
At that point, the young dragon rounded the corner into the main cavern, to find a laughing Corriander and a Blushing Red Igniska. As well, there was a new dragon, one whose golden-copper scales gave him away on the instant.
"So this is the great truant Luciel, back after all these many years to claim the paw of his fair maiden. I trust his princess gave him a royal dressing down? Or perhaps a royal dressing Gown he has to wear as punishment?"

Igniska sighs, but she is grinning widely. "Luciel, I'd like ye to meet Ashinnra. He's Cory's beau with Hlal'sblessing and everything... but we call him Ash for short cause he can't seem to keep his mouth shut... keeps jumkping from the fry pan into the fire, iffin ye catch my drift."
Cory laughs and shakes her head wisely. Igniska and Ashinnra had hit it off right from the start and he had been one of the young red dragon's strongest supporters over the last few months, but you would never have known this by listening to them speak. They rarely passed up an opportunity to egg each other on.

Luciel goes over to the dragon and bows to him, introducing himself properly.
"I am Lucielias Sun-Borne. It is an honor and a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
"And an honor to make yours, though I am afraid much I have heard of you has soured these past few months" Ash replies, smiling. "Hopefully, you will be able to rectify that, if that kiss I saw was any indication though..."

Igniska quickly shows the two her gemstone. "Look what C'ei given me... isn't it a beauty?" she asks beaming with pride. "I'm not sure what to do with it though... maybe I'll just put it over my nest to look at when I sleep."
Ash laughs mnerrily. "Yer the only one I know who'd try to look at something and sleep at the same time... don't you do anything by halves... must you always go overboard?"
Cory places a fond hand on his shoulder and sighs. "Leave her be, Ash. I think it's a marvelous idea... thaty way she can see it first thing as she awakens and lastly in the day, just before she nods off... kind of romantic, if you ask me."
