While not frigid, his internal core temp is still quite low, reminding Kerobian that Pasa was quite probably cold blooded. Still he is warming slowly, and does seem to be in hibernation. But if he is anything like more cold blooded animals, once he's warmed up he'll be fine. The key is a gradual warming and he knows he can aid in that by putting the boy under an electric blanket or placing warmed bricks in crucial areas of his bed.. And as there is no electricity in the cave, warm bricks seem to be the answer here.

A wail from the cave next door soon catches his ear. Wondering what the heck is going on, he runs next door to see what is wrong.
Emnast has his hands full. The cubs are up and they are hungry, testy, and not willing to wait for their momma. And Bez and Tam are nowhere in sight.

*Kero quickly warms some goat's milk, willing a piar of bottles into existence...he takes Mara, and hands Ari to Bez...hoping it works, he gives the bottle to Mara...thanking God he designed bottles so a nursing cat could drink too*

The cub's latch on hungrily and soon drain the bottles dry. Now they are fussy because of something else. Mara begins to scratch aroun in the pen as if looking for something, while Ari just sits and looks miserable.

Mara looks at him like he's crazy. "No sand..." she grumbles. Ari whimpers in agreement.

Em carefully picks up each cub by the scruff and carries them to the box, where they act like overly dignified prim princesses, scratchi9ng everywhere in the box searching out the one special spot to do their thing. Having done that they try to climb out of the box, Ari succeeding, tumbling head first onto the floor.

"Merp?" she chirps and licks his nose. "All legs, with great paws that seems to fumble at everything the tiny cub gathers herself together and plops down on her rump confused. The last she knew there was sand under her feet. How did she get here and where was here. Hmmm, this looks interesting. There's another cub right in front of her, and he's not her sister. She codks her head to one side and news questioningly at him, wondering who he is.

Pick them up and put them back in the pen...I have a sneaking suspicion I should stay like this...in case of further emergency.
*Walks over and around then pen...then disappears and reappears inside it, making sure he cloaks himself in illusion*

Em picks up the cubs and none too soon for Mara's curiosity has her half way out of the box and about to fall on Ari. He places them into the pen and Mara immediately pounces on her sister, who rolls with the tumble and winds up on top somehow. She jumps away and scampers behind Kero, giggling.

Ari sniffles a little and sidles up to her sister who nuzzles her back. "Momma?' she murmurs worriedly. "Where momma?"
