*Kero sends an okay...but with a question....specifically...asking why Tam would go crazy...he gets an image of Kero sitting in a corner...bored out of his skull...and of Tam reading a book...the question comes back again*

tam sighs and rubs his ears... because, dear heart... when i punish ye... i am also punishing meself... i really really hate doing it.... i would far rather get along than to be a tyrant....

*At this point...Tam realizes that Hopian really is Kero's brother...because Kero hops up onto his shoulders and smacks him upside the back of the head just like he did...pulling Tam into a plethora of images*
Tran: How is helping me to stop cursing...when I suggested these punishments myself...tyrannical...Sira...stop feeling sorry fer yourself...I do enough of that for both of us...do what needs doing and move on...

tam laughs and pulling him off his shoulder starts to tickle him... oh.. i will continue to punish ye... never ye fear... and i will not enjoy it one bit... and ye will keep on disobeying me... so the cycle goes on... and from time to time i will be a tyrant.. and ye'll be the little monster... it a fact of life, silly cat... i wouldn't be doing this iffin i didn't care... i agreed to raise ye and raise ye i will...

*Kero while he is eating...notices Tam frequently looking away...one time when he does this, Kero loads some oatmeal onto his tail...then when Tam looks to the left, flicks it onto the back of his head, quickly pulling his tail away*

halfway through the meal, tam notices some wetness on his neck and reaching back finds the mess embedded in his hair... he's not at all happy... (ye've never tried to comb food out of long hair have ye?) he gets up with a glare for the room in general and disappears back to the room.. leaving kero to fend for himself in the dining room....
