So Lyssan joins her under the pillow, her own tail waving like a fluffy flag.
"I'm not angry, Luna, just worried. But I do need to know how you did that..." she soothes licking her nose.

Tes does the prerequisite toe count and ear check, while Kero just admires how neatly he is put together. Only a mother goes in for the fine details.

"Nope..." says Lyssan firmly. She edges closer and nuzzles her gently. "You need to talk about this, then you need to go see your Daddy."

**Not exactly...dragons are strange in that regard...and he would need milk...given his human blood. He may be one quarter human, but dragon's crave milk, according to most legends**

Lyssan sighs and curls up about the small dark body. "And why are you in trouble?" she asks, knowing the answer but wanting to make sure Luna knew.
The dragonling opens an eye. "I opuned the door... the one the big Mama sawd noff to."

*Gently, Kero appears downstairs, after making sure Tes and his son, whom he would name later that night, were warm, comfortable, and being attended by Crash and Bash...with whom he had left strict orders to not invent anything and to not bother them unless they were called for. Silently appearing in the rocking chair, he listens in on Ly and Luna*

"The big Mama..." says Lyssan with a touch of amusement. Well, that was a pretty good description of LUnaria at her fullest, which explains why Luna was nothing like the dark shell she wore. If Lunaria was in her full stage when Austin's mis-made potion tapped into their connection, Luna would reflect that aspect of her nature. "Kind of shiny... hard to look at?"
Luna nods slowly. "Yeah... dats da one... she say nevaw... nevew open it."
"So why did you open the door, Luna?" coaches Lyssan gently.
"Baby cwying... so saddddd."

But you must make me a promise... a pinky promise... that you will never ever do that again. Dangerous things can lurk behind that door. Baby was lucky you helped him, and you were lucky that nothing bad came from it. Understand? But luck is fickle... and the next time you let something through that door it might just bite your head off and keep right on biting until we are all gone." Lyssan's voice is firm but gentle, telling LUna she means business but really isn't angry.
