Makes me think of an indie Dr. Who. I really like how the dark background makes the teal bits really pop, but at the same time, the avi's actual hair and face kind of get lost in all the adornments. Mysterious. biggrin
(The premise for mine is a young demoness learning to command the troops of hell.)

It comes together well, colors are consistent, It isn't too loaded down with items, but what are those two gray peaks on top of your head? Those can go.

Your avatar makes me think of Rise Against songs. I like it. Almost makes me want to keep writing that story I was... work... ing...
I like the general unbalance of colors. It adds to the vagabond look. I would suggest adding some detail to the lower portion if you can. Any chance you have a burn barrel?

My only suggestion is a different choice of shoes. Those really are not gaia's greatest pair of shoes in general.

For Kire...I think: It's perfect, but I do believe I've said that already =P Really though I can't think of anything that could make it better.
